Of course it is easier to stop when losing. First of all, it will be impossible to continue when you dont have money. When a person looses biggest part of his deposit, something might switch in his head and he will want to save what is left. When person wins, greed pushes him to continue. When person is winning, he becomes less and less limited with funds, and that opens in front of him opportunities to continue.

So, I think the point of being able to easily stop gambling is control, because you also say that when you lose and win, the gambler can just bet. Indeed, when you lose it will be easier to stop but note, they no longer have any money left. Because after all, if they still have a little left money and can still place bets, then it is very likely that they will still use it to bet. Because after all, the result could be losing everything and it could also be doubled. But indeed, I also admit that when we lose it will certainly make it easier for us to stop gamble, because we have experienced disappointment at that moment.

I know that as gamblers, everyone can relate to this question, as we have surely experienced it in real situations.

Suppose our bankroll is $100 and it has already grown to $500, would you quit or continue? Conversely, if with our bankroll, we are down to $10, would you still continue or save the remaining $10? I used specific amounts to make it easier to discuss this situation. I understand that we all gamble with different amounts based on our income, but consider this as an example. You can mention any amount you want based on your personal experience; it doesn't matter.

Many wouldn't wish to quit if they are seeing some progress with what they are doing. Speaking for myself,  excessive losses are no motivations to me, i would have quit a long time ago if I wasn't winning. If I must continue with anything, it must be worth it and such improvements from a bankroll of $100 to $500 is a big motivation to me. This is me and I believe there are still people who are like me.

There are still people who would wish to quit after a win and this depends on the big decisions they took about their gambling style and not neccessarily about their personality. I am yet to see a gambler who is not motivated by gambling wins, is that not the reason for gambling in the first place Huh

That’s the point on why losing is easier than quitting since gambler has no choice but to quit since he can’t do anything to continue further.

You will understand it if you will gamble personally and try both scenario to choose it for yourself on what is easier to quit. I remember answering this thread question before but the choices here use a win that is on insane level which makes the question easier. My comment is assuming the profit in the choices is just fewer than the original bankroll.

Losing ideally should be a reason to stop gambling either for the moment or entirely but on the reverse, for some others it fuels Their addiction and makes them even play more because they begin to be even more optimistic and continue hoping that they will win because they have suffered losses. This leads to these gamblers staking more and more untill they eventually loose all their funds and don't have anything again with which they can gamble, at that point they stop and as soon as they lay their hands on money again you see that st it again.

Those who have discipline will of course easily stop when they win, and similarly when they lose they can easily stop because they have discipline in gambling. because in my opinion, if they have discipline, of course they are people who are unlikely to take big risky steps that can make their emotions race, whereas gambling with an emotional state can of course put them in big trouble, such as getting a win but still wanting to gamble so that What they do is continue to gamble with the winnings they have obtained, of course this can affect their emotions and can get them into trouble.
Continuing gambling with winnings that have been obtained can be said to tend to start following greed, with the fact that defeat or losing money will dominate, of course this can make them disappointed when the winnings that have been obtained are lost again. It's not easy to stop gambling if they don't have discipline, if they have strict discipline under any circumstances I think they can stop gambling easily.
I can only have discipline to exit, if i have a clear exit plan. For many people winning big comes as a surprise, and frankly i think that not many people are prepared to deal with it. I've even remember from one study that some compulsive gamblers were somewhat annoyed by big slot wins, as they need a reason to stop playing, and only reason is lack of coins.

I can easily exit if i win a jackpot on slot machine with medium size bet, because i feel like that's not going to happen twice in a day. And all my vague exit targets are. With small bets, that big win is not often big enough that i would celebrate, and sometimes it just gets me where i started.

And if i am for example betting at sports and slowly making more money, target for exit changes over time. 2x isn't enough, and sometimes 50x isn't enough, because especially with sports betting, i am starting to believe on my crap of suddenly being good what i do, and ignoring the luck element. It's just more tempting to start to believe oneself when making an excellent progress and free money. Obviosly if i would win 2000x because i combined some crazy bets, it would be easy to exit. Grinding slowly there would make the exit harder though

Its more easier to quit when loosing because what you will consider is the money you're losing and maybe your unaffordability to continue gambling due to the rate of money gone already, so you may wish to quit at some point, but as for those that will always like to chase after lose, this may not work or be effective on them, because the more they are trying to make something happen the more the incidence of losses increases on them, while a gambler who is contempted will make a win and think of leaving and not to continue except for a greedy one,

why some of us does not portray a positivity towards a gambling that almost everyone in forum who knows the importance of gambling do involve themselves into we only criticize gambling platform why we are promoting a gambling platforms in this community so I think it is not ideal to only emphasize on the negative site of gambling instead of the positive aspect of it so from my own perspective I believe that gambling you must to experience a loss if you are a lover of gambler even though you are trying to tested gambling only one day you might lose whatever you stake on it.

Key is knowledge of yourself, your constraints, and not giving in. The way our friend escaped is exactly right. a success strategy. Big wins excite us. It can entrap you. Success can distort your judgement and give you superhuman confidence. Being the brightest guy means you cannot lose. People, that is a risky perspective.

Never overlook the advantage of the house. Not even pros have perfect streaks. Thus, one should expect ups and downs. Watch the prize, pay close attention, and practise discipline. This departure approach is more than just financial one. Managing one's self. Staying ahead means knowing your emotions and weaknesses. Learn to keep cool and focused no matter what.

Its more easier to quit when loosing because what you will consider is the money you're losing and maybe your unaffordability to continue gambling due to the rate of money gone already, so you may wish to quit at some point, but as for those that will always like to chase after lose, this may not work or be effective on them, because the more they are trying to make something happen the more the incidence of losses increases on them, while a gambler who is contempted will make a win and think of leaving and not to continue except for a greedy one,
So in essence what you are trying to say is that it's actually way harder to quit when you are losing right? Because that's my own take of this, imagine gambling and then you actually won some kind of money I think you can probably best think of ending the session there before things get out of hand because believe me wether you like it or not the losing spree must definitely come so it's best to quit while you still have the chance to.

Yes that kind of makes sense, it's impossible for someone to continue gambling if they run out of money or if they no longer have any money, while we know that the requirement to be able to engage in gambling is to risk money. And it is very likely that this situation will be faced when someone is really far from luck. On the other hand, if someone manages to win because luck comes at the right time, then yes, they have the opportunity to continue compared to other people who run out of money at the start of their gambling session.

On the other hand, everyone can be lucky and can win any amount, but it is a fact that not all of them can really make good use of their lucky situation by withdrawing at the right time and securing the amount they have won by cashing out, This means that it is very likely that cashing out at the right time will only be done by gamblers who do not make the goal of "earning" their main priority.
Literally on which you would really be stopping on playing gambling if you dont have any money to bet on, on which it would really be that something understandable on this case and this is something that would really be that normal but on the moment that you do still have money but you have that lost all of your bankroll on that moment and if you are someone who dont have that good self control then you would really be that definitely be continuing on playing specially on the moment that you would really be choosing up on chasing your loses on which this is really that pretty common for most gamblers and this is the main reason on why they do really end
up on having that miserable life or experiencing unfortunate conditions just because they did make out some nasty mistakes on spending like a mad man.

Quitting when you are on a winning condition or situation? that would really be tough and this is something that you shouldnt really be that making have doubts on doing so because
securing profits or wins and making those stops and breaks would really be recognized for you to be a real winner on that particular point since you do really know on what you are doing
and on what you are dealing with.

There is nothing else that can make a person stop gambling other than running out of money at that time, at first glance it makes sense, but for a gambler who for example is already quite addicted then actually that is not the end of his gambling session at that time, as we know that they always think and create various ways to get money right away with the aim of chasing losses as you have said above, and usually so far what has always been used as an alternative is loans. The people closest to them will usually be the main targets when they are in this situation, usually they will try to contact some of the people closest to them and borrow money for quite sad reasons (lying) so that the lender will feel sorry.

On the other hand, from what I read about your opinion, I am sure that you are directing your ideas at people who are addicted, or you are telling about the habits that addicted gamblers always do when they are in a winning or losing situation. And speaking of when a gambler who is already addicted manages to win, then yes it is a really difficult situation for them to withdraw from, there will be lots of things that look tempting that will continue to tempt them at that time, they will assume that if they continue the game then they will succeed in getting a much bigger win, meaning that even if you manage to win, it is not a real win if you haven't cashed it in, greed will continue to tempt you, and greed will always be something that is difficult to ignore, especially if you are already addicted enough.

Quit while winning is much much harder for me, I have not seen that many people that achieve that neither because when you win, that means you have a lot more money to gamble. At that point, I see that money as "not mine", in theory of course it is mine when I withdraw it so why not mine, right? But I still see it not mine until I withdraw it, and I see that extra free money to gamble.

It happened before, I once turned 70 dollars into 1700 dollars, at that time I had no money issues neither, I was quite good, and god permits I hope I will be like that one day in the future too, but because I was doing fine, I didn't feel the need to withdraw and I just gambled it all away. Quit when you have no money left is simple because you have no other choice.

Normally, if you have a huge fund in your balance, you will definitely feel tempted to gamble repeatedly with the hope that your balance is still big, and sometimes you can even stake a large amount. But when you have just a small fund in your balance, you will practice judicious management just to make sure your balance will sustain you for a long time. Despite the fact the fact that you never had the need for that money at that time, you would have withdrawn at least $1600 from your bank account and only kept $100 in your casino account. While winning, you can find it difficult to stop, but the moment you start experiencing more losses, I think it is better to take a break. Personally, I will not keep such an amount in my casino balancebalance,  so that when am losing, I will only lose small amount in my balance.

We know how the gambling spirit does not let people quit when they are winning. We quit when we become perpetual losers. And that will after several attempts to recover our losses. Gamblers quit not because we want to but because we may not have more money to gamble with. But if am lucky to have made that gain as you described I will take out my profit and continue with the initial capital. If I lose that, I will quit. I will not struggle with the casino to get more gain.

But indeed, I also admit that when we lose it will certainly make it easier for us to stop gamble, because we have experienced disappointment at that moment.
A gambler will definitely find it difficult to stop after winning a gamble because the bankroll will be larger. The joy of victory will make it difficult to stop at that time. That gambler will have a belief that he can continue the winning streak. And even when losing occurs, some gamblers will try their hardest to bet there. He will think that if he wins, he will recover his losses. At some point when he runs out of money he will try to continue his gambling even if he borrows. Finally when he cannot afford any more bets he will give up gambling. Considering these factors, I would say that it is easy for a person to quit gambling when they lose because they lose the ability to gamble.

Completely makes sense and I agree with you, atleast, this is what I've been doing with most of my gambling this days, mostly on telegram actually.

So far and by now, we should already know that one major problem most gamblers have is greed, greed sometimes do not allow some people to think straight, and as such, they end up making decisions that end up costing them their hard earned money.
Personally, I am learning to quit when ever I win, most especially if the win is a significant one, I've done this like three to four times and it did worked, and I was super happy at the end of the day.
Best way to secure wins is to pause immediately the winning arrives, withdraw the profit made from the winning, and then continue playing with the initial amount deposited.
When for the times I've tried this, I ended up losing all the initial deposit, but I was happy because I already withdrew profit, which actually was way higher than my initial deposit.

Difficulty controlling emotions and greed to win more are still the main problems experienced by gamblers. Most gamblers will continue to play even after making $500 in the hope of increasing the amount of winnings they just achieved. Instead of keeping the remaining $10, they will continue playing because they are annoyed by the loss they have just experienced. There is no longer a target of the remaining $10, whatever the outcome is, it doesn't really matter because the emotional level continues to soar.

The gambler's target is to win, but some gamblers often ignore it when they get large amounts of money. Feeling satisfied with what has been achieved will give you peace of mind when gambling, stopping for a moment is the best choice rather than continuing to play which causes the money you have won to shrink again.

Stop when winning: If a person is able to stop or interrupt his gambling session when he wins a bet, then that is an awareness that should be part of his gambling plan. Self-control and anticipation of the possibility of defeat in the next attempt can be minimized when they stop, of course this is the smartest choice rather than continuing their gambling activities greedily.

Stopping when losing: This is just the end of a session and they stop because their balance runs out. Like it or not, gamblers have to stop after they have no balance in their account due to losses, meaning they close their gambling session because they are forced to, not because they want to stop. Some gamblers actually make re-deposits to continue their gambling activities in different sessions, and often they lose everything because they are chasing winnings.

Stopping when winning or stopping when losing is sometimes difficult for some gamblers, but gamblers should be able to stop at any time regardless of whether they are winning or losing. The smart choice is to stop when winning, it allows the gambler to enjoy his winnings and have fun.

Bad habits that often occur among the gambling community, namely not cutting profits after getting a high win or not stopping betting after experiencing a high loss and tending to follow emotions to risk all their funds, even though they hope to recover losses but only have low odds that can be achieved . However, never gamble with borrowed funds because it is very risky rather than losing your own budget funds, the risk is that you have to pay on time or the interest on the loan will be higher, the most fatal risk is that you will experience depression because the creditor continues to chase you to pay the loan.

Literally speaking, if I'm the only one in that situation of gambling like you're saying here, if I win my $100  and it becomes $500,, well, I won't think twice about taking out the $400  right away and leaving the $100  in my balance. Such strategies are made by a gambler who is no longer really addicted to gambling. But if I am an addict, I will probably continue to gamble because greediness is also there.

Now, if it comes to the point where I lose my $100  and there is only $10  left, I will continue to bet the remaining $10  because if I lose the $100, how much more can the $10  be? , right? I didn't regret the 90 dollars that I lost; it was even less regretful to lose the 10 dollars.

When you are winning then the primary thing that comes up into your mind:
1. What if i would win even more on the moment i would continue?
2. Its my lucky day kind of line
3. Greed kicks in hardly

When you are losing then this is what you do have in mind;
1. What if your next bet will be a win and recover all the loses?
2. Emotion impulsiveness
3. Trying to bust it all on your next bet

The key on here is that you should really be that making yourself that responsible on the actions that you are taking because on every bad decisions or choices
you would be making. If you would really be that mindful about those possible conditions or situation you might be facing on then you wont really be that
trying out to neglect those possibilities and would act accordingly on which one is right.
