Is it possible to extract the private keys of an address via UI? I searched for the option but the wallet info tab contains only Xpriv , zprv and other sensitive data but not the addresses and correlated private keys.
So I just want to know if it is possible and if not then what's the recommended method to derive the private keys.

I am also interested in this. I 'd also like to know if it's possible to view your seed phrase instead of testing it. Because I don't have my seed where my pc is and I am lazy to go find it.

It is not possible to export/show private keys from an address, but either with the recovery phrase or master xpriv, you can get the child keys through third party tools (like BIP39 iancoleman), but make sure to use it in an offline environment. Depending on your goal, you can import your GingerWallet into other wallets like Sparrow, electrum etc. using the recovery phrase and BIP39 passphrase (if enabled). If for some reason you want to get some child private keys and don't want to take too much risk, you can import the wallet into Electrum using the recovery phrase or the 'Account Extended Private Key' (make sure to convert to zpriv format first, otherwise Electrum will derive legacy addresses). I am also interested in this. I 'd also like to know if it's possible to view your seed phrase instead of testing it. Because I don't have my seed where my pc is and I am lazy to go find it.
It isn't possible to redisplay the recovery phrase again, only test it. @GingerWallet I would like to know if in gingerwallet we can spend outputs from taproot addresses, is that possible? I ask because in gingerwallet we can view the xpub of the taproot account.

That's the whole point of the crypto currency, you can't get back the private keys from the public keys and the addresses, since that's proof that you are the owner of the address.

If you don't even have a wallet, you could only check after a full download by checking its balance.

I didn't ask how to derive the private keys from public key or xpub, what I mean is how is it possible to retrieve private keys and seeds after we logged into the wallet for example it is possible to view seed in electrum wallet- seed and to see private keys Addresses- right click - private keys and the same kind of feature is available in Ginger wallet. @Forsyth Jones seems right about not possible (yet). We have to derive the child private keys from Xpriv using offline tools like ian Coleman only.

@GingerWallet You may want to fix the link for the signature of the Ubuntu/Debian download file! The link target on https://gingerwallet.io/index.html#download for the Ubuntu/Debian signature is currently hhttps://github.com/GingerPrivacy/GingerWallet/releases/download/v2.0.15/Ginger-2.0.15.deb.asc which has an ' h' too much at the front of the link. See here for a screenshot (doesn't show my mouse cursor but the signature link is colored differently when the mouse hovers over it): I notified Ginger about a week ago but it seems the error is still there.

I just saw Ginger wallet does only have DEB files for Linux, that is mostly used in Ubuntu, Mint and debian based operating system. I know there are source files available so anyone can compile their own version, but I would suggest adding APK APPimage file if possible, that should work on more Linux OS including Fedora.

I think you missed "OTHER LINUX" version of Ginger Wallet which have .tar.gz extension. You just need to extract it and then run binary called wassabee. And i'm not sure why you mention APK, do you mean something else such as AppImage?

Yeah I meant to say APPimage, but I made a mistake and instead wrote APK for android files. I don't think Ginger ever planned to create app for mobile devices but it would interesting to have this, maybe as a light wallet version.

Getting problems when enabling 2FA security on Ginger wallets. First using the Authy Application from Twilio, successfully scanning the barcode of the TOTP Code, but when I wanted to enter the Token failed "Couldn't verify the token". Trying to use Google Authenticator successfully scanning the barcode and entering the first token, when the Ginger wallet application was restarted, I couldn't log in because of the same error before "Couldn't verify the token". In that case, what went wrong with my step? The Tor network is already ENABLE and now the Ginger wallet uses the new Working Folder and no longer in the Old Wasabi Working Folder.

This is strange to say the least. I've enabled and disabled TOTP several times and they were all successful. Have you tried reinstalling the Ginger app? Is this the first time you've tried enabling TOTP 2FA? Is @GingerWallet just asking, Ginger support taproot bech32m addresses?

As I mentioned here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5527925.msg64999874#msg64999874, I have tried using Authy, but the 2FA token is different. It does not match when used on Ginger Wallet, while Google Authenticator results of 2FA (8-digit) token results obtained from it are suitable and can be used in Ginger Wallet. So far, I have not experienced any problems with the code generated by Google Authenticator for opening Ginger Wallet. Do you still keep the barcode when activating the 2FA feature? If you have the barcode, try to rescan it using Google Authenticator.
By the way, I just realized that TestNet is not available in the Ginger Wallet settings, unlike in Wasabi. -snip- -snip-

I am confirming this as well. The same applies for MS Authenticator. I 've tested both on Ginger Wallet version 2.0.15.0

The issue is that most 6-digit authenticators don’t flag this as a problem and accept it, even though they actually failed to interpret the QR code. Instead, they act as if everything is fine. Currently, we are unable to make changes to the TestNet availability due to time constraints, but we have noted it down to address it in the future.

I use Strongbox as my authenticator, and it worked without any issues. Most popular authenticators probably don’t support 8-digit TOTP codes. Install KeePass, you guys can add TOTP codes to it, and the Strongbox I use is based on KeePass. In Strongbox, saving TOTP codes requires a subscription or the full version (I am not sure). It's opensource and available for iOS and mac devices. On Android, there’s KeePass, which is also free and open-source and likely offers the same functionality, it would be great if someone tested it, as I don't have an Android. Without a doubt, it’s much better than Google Auth and the like...
