Just as I expected South Sudan couldn't do much against USA. But at least they lost to USA by a smaller point gap compared to Serbia.    This is like a playground for USA you know. Seeing them not winning the tournament would be a big surprise.

I expected them to surprise the USA like what they did in the exhibition match, turned out USA had already figured out how to dominate them.
still I would think that South Sudan are going to be a great contender in the future since they have achieve this kind of development in basketball already.
more years maybe, we might see them winning the champ.

Now we saw the difference of tune up game and real game, and as expected, team USA have dominated south Sudan.
It's not hard to guess as team USA would not allow that to happen that they'll almost loss, so making sure they'll win is very important and they just did it against a young and hungry team.

The only team they can have more difficulties could be Canada I assume. Because Canada are really meeting the expectations so far. I would like to watch a final game between them and USA honestly. 

In that case, I would try my luck with a bet on Canada to win the gold medal. Anyways, quarter final draw isn't decided yet right? But one thing seems certain that USA and Canada aren't facing each other in that phase already.

Same here, Canada have a lot of NBA players, however, if we compare to the roster of the team USA, canada look like a class B players, so they can't beat team USA.

We can also consider the Germany. This is probably the dark horse in the league, so I'm hoping they are gonna surprise team USA when they'll meet.

Yes Sir. I am also watching the German team and I think they can do some damage in other teams although I have doubts when they face the USA somewhere in this Olympics game. (if ever it happens.)
France will be their next opponent, this will probably be the big test for them as the Twin Towers are not that easy to stop and penetrate. They will probably use an outside shooting play and it might work so that France will take out those big men.

There are people who bet on USA to score over 55.5 points in the 1st half as well. For example, me.    It lost by only 1 point which was insane. USA scored 58 points against Serbia in the 1st half but couldn't do the same against South Sudan...

I'm going for Japan to win @2.14, Germany to win @1.53 and Australia to cover -4.5 points @1.69. Total odds are around 5.50. 

Japan look very ambitious. France barely won against them. I think they can beat Brazil. As I don't like the game France play at all, I trust Germany. Lastly, Greece are having big issues with playing as a team. I think Australia can cover this much and win.

Honestly I actually thought that Sudan would lose by a much bigger margin, losing by this close is something amazing for them, this isn't some nation with amazing facilities and a great program, they are a nation with barely anyone who can play properly, most of these players grew up either overseas or if they were born and raised in Sudan then they played in the dirt and still became this good.

Not only you thought they would lose higher, otherwise Vegas wouldn't have started with a line of +31.5 which then moved to +29.5.

Sure there is a HUGE difference between how these players came up but don't talk their life worse than it is. Plenty of them went to college in the US, 2 played in the NBA, many also play in Australia right now. So they are not like some guys that played basketball on the streets in the past 5 years. 

Anyway, it's still a nice and wholesome this South Sudan team is giving us.

Yeah, because in the first game, team USA doesn't know how good South Sudan is, so in this game, they have adjusted already and so we did see what the team USA is made of as they just passed South Sudan without any problems.

Next for team USA is against Puerto Rico, so this is just for formality as they will go up 3-0 in their group C and going to advance next. Other teams that might go and advance as well are Canada and host country France.

Yeah, if France was able to beat Brazil convincingly but they were only a couple of shots ahead when they beat Japan, I guess Japan indeed has a good chance against Brazil. A moneyline bet offers better odds but a little handicap might not be too bad. I have one bet for Japan, +3.5 and boosted, at 1.89. May not be bad.

However, another team that both Japan and Brazil played against was Germany. Their games offer a different perspective though. Brazil was the one that gave Germany a harder time. Half-time even ended with an even score if I'm not mistaken. On the other hand, Germany played easy basket against Japan. Japan failed to snatch even a single quarter.

And the odds reflect that as well, Japan @2.31 and Brazil @1.65. So Brazil is not that a huge favorite in this game and betting on Japan at least on ML is a good bet already. No need to look for handicap. I mean the ML like is above 2.x already so that when we watch the game, we will simply look for who is going to win.

Australia vs Greece, the Aussies are the favorite against Giannis Greece. And if I'm not mistaken, Greece has a slim chance but they will have to win big against Australia to be able to move on the next round. Australia has a lot of NBA talents though, so gonna be hard for Giannis to carry his team against the experience Aussies.

This game will start in 20 minutes. Everyone should be betting on Brazil as Hachimura, Japan's best player, is out. And the point guard of Japan, despite the great performance against the host team, I think he will be limited today as Brazil has Yago to defend him. Yago could match his quickness and they look like they are the same size, so I'm thinking he'll struggle or be limited.

About a blowout win by Brazil, it's possible since they are playing with points quotient here, so Brazil will play harder and will try to dominate Japan. Though we can't really predict 100%, I have a feeling that people got hyped on the almost upset win by Japan against France, but it will not happen again against Brazil.

Handicap was +1.5 and +2.5 before the news, and +5.5 right after. Then I guess there were many bets on Brazil so it went up to as high as +6.5.
Brazil already has a comfortable 9 point lead after only 8 minutes, guess that's gonna be a tough task for Japan.

It was a very unpredictable game. I thought Japan would be able to complete their comeback and beat Brazil. Unfortunately, their 4th quarter was very bad as they were outscored by Brazil by 14 points. That was their lowest-scoring quarter, and Brazil's defense was very effective. Again, Hachimura was really a huge loss to the team.

It's 1.02 on BcGame. But I won't be taking the bet because the rewards is too low for the intended risks. While the USA will win easily, it remains to be seen that you need to wager an absurd amount on money in order to get any tangible return from the bet. I'm betting off just watching the game. I watched the USA last game against South Sudan amd I'm confident that they will completely destroy this  Puerto Rico team.  Puerto Rico team haven't really performed well this far. We can see evidence of this in their 66-score against Serbia.
