Thank you for the welcome @darxiaomi!! I think someone invited me last season too but I was too busy to follow new rules, but this time, I cannot escape the pressure. So thank you and I join you guys now.

Only 1 thing I cannot join yet probably never is Fantasy because that really looks like you need to know the league well. I still confuse teams like Brighton and Brentford, so I definitely know this is not for me yet Then again I also know nothing about F1 and there I am wasting fees every season LOL

Hahaha yeah fantasy is also for me an "Achilles heel" i only keep playing just in case i take it seriously and with a blow of luck maybe i can take something from that big pot. But yes is not only know everything about the league but also you need to know a lot of the mechanics of the games, when you have to use your special chips and which is better to do after a long ultra refined data.

Its actually very interesting I admit, and I used to play computer games that are more complicated, so its not about that, but just the time. I could play 18 hours daily computer games in past, no life no job lol Now even 30 minutes is a big luxury. And for few years now all that focus is on my self for health, career etc Forums and pools and BSFL is the only time I allow now for 'leisure'

But who knows one day I hit slot JP and I will be playing FPL every day lol

Hahaha, yes daily life when we grow starts to become more complicated plus we have to do the effort to not fall into the lazyness because we cant fall much worse in the future if we dont make an effort in our good years, like being healthy plus study and other related things.

But well today's effort is rewarded tomorrow.

I wouldn't want to miss a single round (we all understand the value of every point), but without notifications like Superbru the risk is high   So our season starts in a week and a half on the 22nd? Until now yes, a lot of people is a late joiner like past season, some said to me they are gonna join but until i dont see them here i cant count them ahead, i wish we can reach 20 or 25 players this season, if that happen we can have 5 paid positions if not we remain with the ussual 4.

Is good to see the wellknow faces here joining i feel like this year the battle is gonna be much more hard, and our champion Saint-loup is not gonna have a easy job defending his crown.

Is like he said, the pick of the teams is super easy via a google form it took less than a minute.

Some weeks we dont play since the calendar is super tricky and impossible to follow and without some teams playing is a no sense to play because we are ended up all with the same picks.

When you start to play you are gonna see how easy is, is more difficult to explain than play.

I actually received notifications but directly from the thread that popped up in my "Show new replies to your posts". In fact, the control+F = KTC key combination makes it easy to search for mentions in threads that interest me.
I've already installed the bot, yes it works great, it's a pity you can't turn off notifications when you are quoted in the quote ladder... sometimes I touch on painful topics and the discussion gets heated

Few years ago I used forum in similar way like you did. But by checking things manually you don't always notice all replies, also, with bot you can reply to quotes faster. When bot goes offline sometimes, it makes my forum use experience much worse.
Yeah, you're right about quote ladder. Maybe I will ask TryNinja if can he add feature to disable mentions on quote ladder.

Thanks for explanation guys. I have to rely on the forum notify (which works very great). I don't use Telegram anymore also no more Twitter etc only for pure work now. Long story about me before, spent too much time on these things so now living clean life (Except forum lol). But yes as long as notifies work I will make sure I play all the time. Basically, Pick 5 teams, and score the most, sounds super easy. Won't everyone just pick Bayern and Barcelona every game?

Honestly I miss one or two picks every season, sometimes more. That's just usually because even with notifies I forget and miss a couple of days. Its not so bad.

My electrum wallet shows me my spends and incomings so unfortunately I know how much I lost lol OC I think I win back more from freebets I didn't count, but maybe some point I will make new wallet to 'erase' my past
