This is my first time joining Cross League Goal Madness and I didnt sent my answer yet but I will have some free time to do it tomorrow.
I want to take time and do some research first instead of posting blind answers and hoping for the best.

Interesting to know Spanish teams were important, as it was Premier League who scored the most goals every season. But I guess the distribution of goals in La Liga is on the top teams whereas in Premier League you even have relegation teams like Sunderland scoring 3 goals

Hahaha yes lets try, our champion Saint-loup who prevent mafia win in the last one seems to not answer the call,i hope mafia dont do anything to him. 

One of the quiet winners, @Saint-loup, just like @morvillz. They don't say much but win a lot. As long as they beat mafia, they have my favor but I suspect mafia always buys their enemies.

Are we looking to fin only teams that scored most goals, or matches with most goals, that includes goals from other teams that scored goals against selected teams?

Of course we are looking only for those teams that will score a lot of goals, if they miss a lot of goals it is not taken into account.
If we were looking for games with the most goals scored then everything would be more complicated since the "leaders" would not be at the top but in the basement. It seems that the worst teams always miss a lot of goals which makes their games very productive.
For example, in the EPL last season the top 3 teams scored 86 + 69 + 72 = 227 goals, and the worst three conceded 86 + 82 + 80 = 248 goals.

Guys we are just a little bit more than 24 hrs from the deadline so please make your picks is nothing to wait for in this first stages.

We change teams after 5 rounds, and the new teams comes from the new top 5 at that current point of each league. In this first rounds for example we can expect to see in some cases some teams not expected to be in top 5 at all.


I just made my picks and i hope not to disappoint me because i went with a few bold selections.

Sent ! First five rounds are gonna decide the outcome of the whole season I guess lol. Pretty much after the first 5 rounds, everyone will most likely have almost identical selections so its gonna be hard to actually surpass someone above you with only average of 1 points difference each week

Yes, i dont know why more people didnt join, i send a lot of pm and i try to share it across the forum but well it is what we have.

From last season a few person seems to left the forum so we lose some there. Vd for example doesnt connect since the 12/08, omiki seems to have left the forum.




Just one clarification about the new rule for missing the deadline, since we are in the first round if someone miss the deadline im gonna give them the score of the player with less point since we dont have a previous round.

Also Celta Vigo, poor guys, they might do 3+ this opener too!

Hahaha seems like the madness takes over you because that teams cannot be selected at all.

Spurs? Lets see if in a miracle they can be in in some of the reshufles, but i dont think they can reach the top 5 at all in this season, plus they have to play Champions League and they have a coach who doesnt have experience in managing a lot of games for the team.

Wow, you are a big optimist about Tottenham. I certainly hope City continue to screw up, but now seems like a bad time to bet against them (not the 4th round yet and not the game against United haha).
I don't think I've picked any English teams this round, my main bet is on La Liga and Bundesliga. Simeone has one last chance to impress me, if not, I'll take him out of all bets until the end of the season

Tottenham vs Man City is always a game that can result in lots of goals. Maybe Tottenham shocks City like they did to PSG. Kudus, Sarr, and Johnson have good attacking qualities, and when you add Porro, I think they can definitely cause trouble for City’s not-so-great defense.

The only negative here is Richarlison — he's in a mini run of form, but in my opinion, he's not a great forward option for Tottenham.

You're lucky to have chosen Bayern Munich because at least they score a lot of goals, even though you didn't choose Chelsea at the same time, and only Harkorede is a little lucky now... at least we didn't miss out on choosing Bayern.
Maybe Madrid and Barcelona will score a lot of goals, especially Barcelona against the usual promoted team, which will be crushed.

OK so it really looks like a 'simple' game. I think most of us went for Bayern so easy pick but damn whoever pick Chelsea knew all about the shitty team that is West Ham lol I'm dissing them in all my posts today they made me so mad and I don't even like these teams but they just ruined my day all the time.

From the graphic of choices it seems like 30% of options weren't even chosen. So I guess every season its just very close and tight.

They'll be in the top 5 after this victory, though, right? Just not sure I want to pick them in their next match as Bournemouth play an entirely different game to City. I know how Cross League works, of course, but I do find it a shame we can't pick 1 "wildcard" our gut tells us can score goals against particular opponents =p

Sure, they lost Son but that poor guy was well-depleted last season. Anyway, you and I both like value bets and if they win 50% of the games vs City at odds above 7/1, it's a value bet all day.

So it turns out you were 100% right about Tottenham   A very pleasant result, a dry defeat and it seems that City's prospects are more or less clear. The poor genius needs another billion to stay in business  
Simeone is annoying. Yes, Atletico can be good against the top teams, but I have the impression (as a Real Madrid fan) that they only exist to hurt Real and give points to Barcelona. And also to destroy multi-bets due to its instability against underdogs.
