So 3 obvious teams and then 2 teams that can make a difference ok I got it Seems like a super easy strategy to implement, and I don't see why no one will try this, unless oc they are going for yellow cap rewards. Barca all the way baby

There are always 10 teams or so that are super offensive. Barca, Real, City, Liverpool, Bayern are surely top 5 - but teams like Atalanta scored 3+ on many occasions last season, and top Bundesliga teams as well.
This is the biggest part of the fun - to trust Barca away to Villarreal for example, or to pick Atalanta at home to Como instead.

You probably won't win if you pick the best 5 teams every round. You need some strategy to gain maximum advantage.

If you mean individual rounds then yes, but if you mean the whole season then I would say that the best teams will bring the victory. After all, they are the ones who have scored the most goals during the season. It seems to me that the winner of last season, even having missed one round, won the competition by choosing only the best teams (however, I didn't do a thorough check, maybe he took risks sometimes). This is a problem in the sense that most people want to make this picks, there is little variety.

Initially I only planned on joining just the league and competitions I'll be to follow and watch the games closely, due to how strenuous even submitting answers every weekend can be, but this look the easiest of them all.

Ah damn I have to remember this is also about the other leagues I don't follow much. Need to study stats a bit, but probably many teams won't be the same. Actually now if I think about it Galatasaray bought even more firepower and that league looks like one of most chaotic defense in the world, they should be scoring 3 all the time.

BTW it doesn't matter if they win or lose right? So like 3-4 loss still counts as 3 goals?

Later today or tomorrow im gonna post the first round, so you are gonna receive the notification, plus everytime you can find in the first page the round and the link to the leaderboard like in the BSFL.

The only two new "rules" are this:


NEW FOR SEASON 2:

- You can use VAR two times in the whole season, you have to send me a PM before the deadline of the round or submit for a second time and im gonna take into account your second submision.(you can change one or five teams each time you use it)
- When you miss a deadline you are gonna play with only 4 teams. This 4 teams comes from the  teams from your last round minus one which is gonna be the one who score the most goals in the missed round. If a reshufle happens and one of the teams is not longer in the game, that team is gonna be replace with the new team, if more than one team change in that specific round im gonna take the one who scores more as replacement(it has to be from the same league).


I hope everything is clear about the new rule for missing the deadline, i read the few suggestions and the votes but it was all equal so i came to this solution as the better one.
About the other suggestion i put into the vote no one reach a good grade of acceptance, so i decide to let all as it was.

I was working on the develop of a web but i have some troubles and i dont feel 100% confident about somethings so i stick again with the clasic form from google, but im still working on something for the future.

All is updated in the OP.

No, they count, you can see until wich date im taking into account. I declare it when i psot the round, this one is until:

With the 25 being include. I said weekend to summarize but they include the matchs from the friday and the monday, and in some strange cases if some games is gonna be played on tuesday im gonna put it in the dates when the round starts.

About cup games, they are out, only league games.

Just for the newcommers, the answers of everyone are gonna be showed when we reach the deadline like in BSFL, so you can track everything.

Well just as a hint, for example in last season Spanish team were super important in some rounds, i remember Villarreal having a few good rounds with 4 goals, who took them were ahead for sure.But as always is not easy it has a risk.


Since is first round i tag again early and to know if the tag is working properly.

I often chose Arsenal last year and I think I won't anymore. They are not set up for a big score, those games when it happened, it happened by chance. It seems to me that Arteta just needs to get a comfortable advantage and then torment the opponent with ball control.
I made my picks too, as always there are obvious outcomes, and there are optional ones to try to overtake everyone who only makes obvious ones

I've sent my answers, and they're pretty obvious*. It wasn't a very exhaustive selection, but rather aimed to ensure those games wouldn't end 0-0 on the first matchday. At least this guaranteed a couple of goals.

I believe it's not a fetish but desire to make picks closest to odds that is relevant for match opening. The closer the event, the more accurately the bookmaker estimates it, which means that the one who focuses on the bookmaker and makes the latest forecast has an advantage.

For BSFL I would agree, but I wasn't kidding about him sending fees for pools on last day. Did it for all my pools in that way I believe and here you can't say it is about bookie odds
