Yes SerieA is underperforming really bad, or maybe being their real inner spirit of catenaccio, but we cant cut them off at mid season.

As far as I know, the last few rounds have rarely selected teams from Serie A because they are less interesting.

This is only a special round and is not gonna happen often only one or two times in the season this happens. I select Liverpool above Manchester United since United is much more irregular and maybe people dont finally ended up selecting them becuase of that.

Even though we know Manchester United often score a lot of goals even though they are inconsistent... imagine the last two matches they can score 8 goals.

Btw... I have chosen Villa, like this team can destroy the inconsistent team.

I didnt have time to post my predictions today, but I can see we are starting next round in Friday again, so I still have enough time.

I think I just received freebet in my Whale account from last round win, and I will have to think good how to use that in a smart way.

Liverpool? I don't know. I'll take a string of 1-0 ugly wins over 3-3 draws this Christmas period. I have a feeling we might do enough to merit being placed back in the pickings once the next refreshed selections is ready but I always have a good feeling anyway, regardless of how shit we are.

Liverpool isn't a team I'd be picking for goals at this point in time. Too many injuries, a lot of stress in the team that will lead to a more defensive approach etc.

Spurs are in terrible form so I feel we might get a decent result, but it feels more like a cagey 1-0 than a free-flowing 4-2 game.

Liverpool Over 1.5 is priced at 1.89, which is decent for an away game, but significantly worse than other options in this round. Plus, even without comparing it to the best options, betting on Liverpool is unreliable. Right now, it's like Dortmund – it could be 0 goals, it could be 4 goals, no one knows.
Hmm... I made my picks yesterday, but only now I thought that in connection with the exclusion of teams from Serie A, I needed to raise my total goals pick. Let's hope it doesn't come to a tiebreak.

You rascal, Manchester United should have been added there but I probably wont pick them against Villa though lol  . I noticed about this like a week ago and I thought you would put a twist or something into this by adding teams from another league like Ligue 1 or Eredevisie

The "new specials" teams were  not so much selected but anyways it seems like we have a good distribution of teams,aside of the obvious Bayer Munich pick no other team was in the 15/16, Manchester City comes close with 13 selections, and behind them Real and Barcelona with 10 both.

I know it was a risky move but I decided to go with Aston Villa this time because they are playing against Manchester United and I expect to see goals scored.
Only two other members also selected Aston Villa, but I having doubts to replace it with Arsenal and Atletico Madrid, that are now my reserve teams.

There isnt any other teams that is better imo unless you are trying to score by getting that lucky pick. I mean its Barcelona so they could be conceded by 3 goals against Villarreal while scoring 4 goals in return so yeah I love to take the chances. Speaking of taking chances only 3 had Atletico  , I hope this wont turn into another 1 fiasco
