Europa League play-off round has started today and we can see how each team competes for the first leg match which has started to show competitive competition, each of them is fighting to be able to qualify from this round.
I see good opportunities for some of the top team, but I only interested in seeing how the 3 team that I have been monitoring from the beginning when they went through the qualifying round.
In this first leg I took PAOK with under 2.75 over Shamrock Rovers and win for Maccabi and Braga, there is also Besiktas who played in this play-off round against Lugano but I don't dare to take the risk because Lugano is also strong team.

Congratulations on your win and it was a good bet with quite big odds, I also bet on this Europa League play-off match I only took some clubs that were familiar in previous matches during the Champions League qualifiers and in the previous rounds in the Europa League such as the Rigas vs APOEL match, Molde vs Elfsborg, Ludogorets vs Petrocup and Jagiellonia vs Ajax with the options below and all according to predictions.

Listen, 3-3? Against Lugano? Not quite the kind of start Beşiktaş enthusiasts had in mind. Defense wins titles, and yesterday night's back line looked like Swiss cheese. In Europe, you cannot give up easily achievable goals like that. Rafa Silva, he's a star, no doubt about it, but soccer's a team sport. One man cannot carry the whole squad, particularly if the defense is handing candy on Halloween.

They had to organize for the second leg. Lugano proved they have some bite and would be arriving hungry. Lugano may easily grab this one if Beşiktaş doesnt tidy their act. And believe me, early Europa League exit? That is not the way you bring Beşiktaş great once more.

I think this is one of the perfect results from all the matches presented last night and Ajax looks increasingly confident to get through this phase without any problems. They silenced the hosts with a non-stop rain of goals and honestly Jagiellonia is not at the level to be able to stop the creativity of Ajax's attacks.

Chuba Akpom will be the star of this competition and the hat-trick he scored could have a good impact on the continuation of his career. Maybe he is not a young player but he is old enough to be in one of the biggest European competitions and I hope his consistency in scoring winning goals for Ajax will continue. The second leg might be the safest place for Ajax but I think a draw is still quite doubtful and at least Ajax must win again even if only by a score of 1-0.

I agree that they were decent, but remember that we have seen Liverpool lose to Atalanta 3-0 when they were the leaders in the league, that should tell you how hard these competitions are. Of course they dropped to third place later on but that doesn't change the fact that we had them at the top during the time of the loss, a team leading premier league would be expected to beat most teams in the world, including UCL teams too, maybe not Real Madrid, but there aren't that many teams leader of premier league could lose to, and yet they lost to Atalanta.

So saying that United is good right now is true but also they could lose is once again true as well. Just because they look good, doesn't mean that they are going to win it, so much so that even if they end up being somehow incredible and win the premier league and shock the whole world, that still doesn't mean that they will win this one too. You have to play game by game to see how it will end up.

Liverpool's defeat in the Europa League against Atalanta last season was quite surprising, not only that because they also lost with a fairly big score at that time. So just like the others, the Europa League is also quite difficult to predict.

Talking about Manchester United, actually every season the squad they have never lacks good players, but for some reason the players can't show their best abilities.

I think one of the reason why prediction in early season can easily end up wrong is because we can't factor team current atmosphere/mood, tactical shift, and so on. For Manchester United, I think dresing room atmosphere will be key to know how they will perform again this season. I think it's worth a shot for them to focus on winning the UEL too, if anything that should be the target considering the quality of their players relative to the competition. On the other hand, another upset would be welcome since it means games will be fun to watch.

I watched the Lugano - Beşiktaş game a little yesterday. Beşiktaş could have won easily when it was 3-1 but they were really bad in defense. I don't think they will fail in making it to league phase though. I expect a win in regular time next time. They are really good in offense but this needs to reflect on their defending at the same time. 

I was really delighted with Ajax's performance. A 4-1 win away... Maybe the opponent was much weaker on paper. But this was a good signal for them to increase their recovery speed. 

It was sad to see Molde losing to Elfsborg home. It was in the betslip I was thinking of betting on. They can really be unpredictable sometimes.

Definitely a tough period to handle all of this, it is not going to be easy and we are going to end up with a much better result if we know what we are doing. This could be a tough season to bet on Europa because there are too many games that are close to each other.

Do not be fooled by the results because these teams are a lot closer to each other than they look. When you look at the odds you think that there are high favourites to win the games, like for example any team that has like 1.50 or lower odds look like favourites but the reality is that these teams are a lot closer to each other at this level and the results could be very difficult to predict.

This is why I believe that we are going to end up with not easy bets and I avoid these bets, same goes for conference league as well, before the group stages it is nearly impossible to bet on all three European competitions because they all look terrible to me and not going to bet on them with my money.

Normally I try to bet like small amounts, and if I see something I really like I may do that, which I did at the UCL one, but I am not seeing anything that's good enough here because the risk is too high and even a small amount doesn't feel it's worth it.

Victory in the conference league will not cover the defeat suffered by Chelsea in the English league, the conference league is not the league that Chelsea fans might expect at this time and with a squad that has spent a lot of money, doesn't win  with score 2-0 still too small to be proud of, let alone their just facing teams like Servette which were just destroyed by Braga with an aggregate goal of 2-1 by Braga in the European League and 6-0 by Basel in the domestic league, this victory in my opinion doesn't prove anything at this time so I think let alone winning the Premier League this season, even  for winning the European Conference League will be difficult for Chelsea.

Man United didn't get Europa League tickets easily. They didn't get it from the Premier League quota because they finished poorly last season but, that was obtained from the FA final they won and it was a very hard struggle because their opponent is Manchester City. So Man United should be looking at the Europa League quite seriously because the opportunity they got was a hard fight. Man United made a lot of changes for this season, and I think that will also increase their chances in the Europa League.

Great result for FCSB against Lask and a well deserved score of 1-1 because FCSB really played way better in 2nd half and had at least 2-3 great chances to actually score the 2nd goal. However , I think FCSB made an important step towards qualification zone and they should have home advantage where theoretically a victory should happen for them. It's also been a while since we had FCSB ( ex Steaua ) into European Groups and this team really deserves to qualify in Europa League.

Although the Chelsea team managed to score two goals but could not go forward in attack. Chelsea won the match with ease due to a full squad of experienced players, with only 14 attacks at the goal post and 2 successes. But the opposite side, Servette, had 22 attacks on the goal post, but could not win the match due to a lack of experienced players. In this case, I think it is because of the failure of experience that this match is won by the whole Chelsea team. 

However, the biggest difference in betting and the supporter was more in favor of Chelsea team, which is why I feel confident in this match that Chelsea team can win and indeed Chelsea team is capable of scoring two goals.

Perhaps I just agree that Ajax has good chances to win, I won’t say that I do not agree in the rest of the match, but I definitely have doubts. Lugano played very not badly with Fenerbahch and they were very good in the attack, so maybe I would better pay attention to total in this match than tried to determine the winner, but Besiktash will definitely try not to lose away. Molde - Elfsborg is also a difficult match, it seems that guests in recent matches do not look bad. I think that Braga should also beat SK Rapid.

The reason why many people still doubt Ajax is because of their performance the previous season, they didn't impress their fans and are supposes to be playing in the Champions League instead of competing for a spot in the Europa, but Circumstances have made it so and fans have to accept their fate and back their team to get back to their previous form as league giants, we've seen big teams lose form and fall from the top four and are trying to get back to glory days, let's take Manchester United for example, they were the giants of the Premier League, they never missed the top four post Ferguson era but currently they're on an open heart surgery (according to  one of their previous coaches Ralf Rangnick) and I believe this season should be great for them. Ajax have to emulate that and get back to being the top team in the Eredivisie league, their opening game might not have been what fans expected but they need patience and full support for the team to get better, I didn't watch the match between Lugano vs Beşiktaş but from the scoreline I think the match must have been very interesting. This was definitely one of the most stressful games I have seen in a long long time. There has been over 15 penalty shots, and it ended with 13-12 result as well, that is just insane when you think about it, when was the last time you have seen 15+ penalties? I mean most often it ends within the first five usually but even if not, that goes to like maybe 7 or 8 at most and nothing more. Whereas we are looking at the current situation and can say that this was the highest I watched live as far as I can remember.

Ajax finally got it though, they really needed this win because it looks like they are still struggling to build that squad back up, they sold bunch of great players but then never rebuild it properly and this season might help them if they do fine here.

Yes of course it was essential, because I have never seen a match full of so many penalties. But it was a very good and experienced match where every player was ready to show his performance, who can shoot the penalty with full experience. This season has been the most record-breaking game we've seen, but I don't know if we'll ever see a match like this again in the future.

It started with Panathinaikos being able to score a late goal in the 89th minute, so that the aggregate became 1-1 and the match had to go into extra time until a penalty shootout. It was a very interesting and tiring match for both clubs, because in the midst of their fatigue they had to play throughout the match they also had to prepare mentally to kick penalties. This is not easy, because penalties have a 50/50 chance and that too must have a very strong mentality. Ajax is still lucky in my opinion because they managed to win the match.

Both clubs played well in their match, it seemed that Panathinaikos did not want to lose just like that and at the same time Ajax also had problems with their concentration in the final minutes of the second half so they had to play longer even though they were finally able to win. Obviously an interesting match like this is what we always hope to watch, hopefully it will happen a lot in the Europa League this season.

We saw rare matches like that. We saw penalties in the end and we saw result of this match and result was in the favour of Ajax and Did 13 goals in comparison of 12 goals of Panathinaikos football team .  That match was tough for both teams and both teams gave their all effort to win this match . Only Tetê was successful to do goal for his team and after that no team could do any goal but all teams tried well to do next goal. Match was decided on penalties and Did brilliant in penalties and won after tough match . The passes of Ajax team were more in number and  these were 636 and and possession percentage of Ajax was also good and their shots were on target and they became successful eventually.
