It is untrue that you said none of EPL teams winning in international competition in Europe. In Europa League, we have Chelsea and Man United which ever won the UEL trophy. Man United has the chance to win it again now if they can reach the final round. And if we have Man United vs Tottenham in the final, there must be an EPL team to be the champion.

Although I don’t like the idea of comparing leagues with each other because I feel like it is something that doesn’t have. Definite metrics to been measured or compared, each league has its uniqueness. The Laliga can definitely boost of the European supremacy because of how Real Madrid precisely have dominated the combination and not anyone more, but those this makes the Laliga more competitive than the EPL? It’s definitely not. The EPL has many top teams that it can oozes of competition, I can say categorically that the most anticipated match In the league each season is the El Classico, the usual EPL days there is a traditional top 6 not top 3 like Laliga and this on its own is competition already.

As for the trophies, the year Sevilla scooped those titles they weren’t relegation team as you have clearly stated but they were usually a top four team which always gets dumped out of the Champions league and they compete in the Europa league but at EPL any time you see the traditional top 6 in the Europa league it’s means they are having a bad season, take a look at the two clubs in the semi finals now.

Also if want to bring the likes of Sevilla into discussion for winning Europa then bring the likes of Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest for winning champions league too

Bodo and Bilbao they will go all out to be able to win this match. There is no reason for them to give up just like that because the names of the 2 teams come from the English League. Whoever deserves to be in the finals will definitely get there by hardwork and superiority. At this stage, all four clubs have the same chance of reaching the finals irregardless of their domestic league. It wouldn't be a surprise to me, if Bodo wins the league. Every team that have gone this far deserves to be here else they wouldn't and If It is about who we want to reach the final I don't think Bodo Glimt would have made it this far. I know they have done well to get to this point as we all never expected them to reach the semi final which this caliber of players. They have done well to go far this and if they want to get to the final they have to keep fighting hard as always, it's just a match away (two legs) and they will be at the final as you want. I also think it will be interesting to see them at the final so if they are the better team then they will surely make it.

Yes they played well and I won't call it luck, being lucky can only happen in a match but doing it in two legs means  it wasn't luck at all. Lazio was just not good enough and they paid the price. It might not be the same with Tottenham but I know they will give Tottenham a tough time and if they are underated they will surprise Tottenham too. The comparison is very simple: ordinary clubs from other leagues win trophies, and English ones don't. But you don't like it, so you start to fantasize.
No one cares that the Premier League clubs are potentially stronger - if there is no result, they are losers. It's cruel, but that's life.

When a team qualifies on penalties, I think its safe to say they qualified with a hint of good luck. This doesn't take anything away from how the team played, but they couldn't win it in open play so the match was decided by penalties and we can all agree that luck plays a major role in a penalty shootout.

That being said, Tottenham is not I the kind of form to rely on them to win Bodo. They are the bigger team and have better quality, but they don't play convincingly. They have a better chance of winning, but I can't write Bodo/Glint off.

Not being in the top 10 is very weird for them, looks like they are not going to do as well as they hoped and the realistic approach right now is them getting better on the long run. The good news is, in theory, only way to go is up for them, sure they can still go down if they are not careful and all that, but do you really think that they can get worse?

I do not think they can get worse at all. So the only way they are going to play is just better. Next season I bet that they are going to finish higher and that means hope. Being better will also qual to making more money and getting better players and doing even better later on. So there is a hope for United to do better, they just need time, they may win Europa too, which is very difficult and they will most likely not win but if they do, then they could make a lot of money.

I think it's between Bodo and Bilbao. Tottenham and United are too inconsistent unless we ignore their EPL results. Then again, they managed to stage a crazy win in this league, so I might be off and United will win this instead. If the choice is between United and Spurs, I'd like Spurs to win it because it would be crazy to see them play in the UCL next season after finishing 17th or so.

If I want to bet on the results, I'd bet a narrow win for Bodo against Tottenham.
