It feels really awkward. Manchester United are 16th and Tottenham are 17th in the PL. But they are playing against each other in the EL finale. One of the weirdest scenarios ever.  

But anyways... IMHO, Amorim's club is closer to the trophy. Why? Because Manchester United have a much better history in European competitions. This is my reasoning. I'm open for being surprised by Tottenham also but this is my thinking.

I don't know how Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur managed to beat the clubs they faced in the UEFA Europa League competition to become the UEFA Europa League finalists when they are struggling and they haven't won a match in the Premier League table for a very long time. With the situation surrounding Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League, both clubs will take the UEFA Europa League final very seriously in order to secure a spot in the UEFA Champions League next season, which will make both clubs put in their best to win the final. The final won't be easy for Manchester United, but I believe Manchester United will edge Tottenham Hotspur in the final, just like you said.

Totenham can be even worse than Manchester United, they dont know how to defend, if they want to go into the offensive they are gonna have big troubles behind, every time they start attack heavy they let open so much field and space in the defense, and if any team is fast and clever enought to see the holes is gonna destroy them.

Tottenham Hotspur is stronger team to win this match and players are doing practice for that match and we will see big competition between players. Manchester United team will play well in next match if they want to win this match. Still it’s a season-ending spectacle that we shouldn’t miss.

One fact that we all need to accept is that even though both Tottenham and Manchester United are not doing anything tangible in their domestic league, that means they don’t know what they are doing. Moreover, even in the Premier League, Manchester United are one point ahead of them.

But one thing I want to make clear, which I think is why Manchester United forfeits their domestic league, is just because they see they will not be able to achieve anything or even finish the season in the top 5; that is why they focus more on the Europa League so that they will be able to qualify for the Champions League next season. And if you were to ask me, I would say that is a good idea because instead of fighting for what you can’t get, you would rather focus on what you have hope of getting.

Moreover, Manchester United also tried their best in the early season of the Premier League before their performances started getting weaker, which the higher competition and challenges in the Premier League are not even comparable to in the Europa League. So to me that will be their best idea to qualify for the Champions League next season.

Nobody knows for sure, but there’s no harm in trying and giving them a chance. Even if they crash out of the Champions League early next season, it means they’re not fully ready for a competition as big as the UCL. It shouldn't end goalless, if not the match will be boring. If the match wants to end in a penalty shootout, let both team score at least one goal each. I don't know what will be the outcome of this match but if we want to use H2H to judge which of them is the favorite, Tottenham is the favorite. Many will see any of them who gets to qualify for the champions league as a mediocre team and can’t even make it out of the group stage of the competition. One cannot really give up the fight for the domestic league and just fight for an European trophy, it will really become something of confusion and many will wonder why. What if they fought for the champions league spot through winning the Europa League and end up being relegated, how will such team be in the following season. I don’t think such scenario has happened before. Tottenham are in the bottom of the table too and I just wonder if they’d relegated and won the Europa League trophy which means they’ll get to book a spot for the champions league for the next season, can they be relegated and still not play in the domestic league and allowed to play in the champions league?

Good point. Tottenham doesn't bottle chances and is quite more clinical than United. Spurs beat United three times this season but are still underdogs for the Europa Final. The perfect bulletin board material is going into this massive tilt.
