You were actually very lenient to him. The proof presented by nutildah from Altcoinstalk board was more than enough. As soon as that was posted here, the Wonder Work who enthusiastically defended himself before stopped responding in this thread and started posting else where. But at least we know that he never had any good target here.

His "accidental" appearance on the forum and his accidental participation in the 2024 pizza contest, which JollyGood noted, still came to light. All so-called newbies, it's time to take into account that the more they shout about their newness, the more right are the suspicions of both JollyGood and nutildah, who also do not believe that they are really sincere.

How funny it sounds in this situation:

Finally, I will not cheat in the forum, I will be there as a fair person. Cheating cannot last long, so I did not come here to cheat. I will be as fair as possible and encourage others to be fair. Let's all move forward together, not by cheating but by creating a beautiful bond of brotherhood. Thank you dear JollyGood, I hope you have cleared my point.

Saw this one today for the first time, posting in the WO thread:

greek_hephaestus - registered June 2013

As the name suggests, the original owner was Greek and posted on that local board between 2013 - 2015. The original owner stopped posting for the most part in 2015 and came back in 2017, briefly.

Hello. I offer $5.000 (in BTC or XEM) to anyone help me to retrieve or change, my lost passwords in my two NEM Wallets. (Not nanowallet, old NCC Wallet). I have both .adb and .wlt files. There are old (2015) wallets and I have not operated these, since 2015 and I forgot my passwords. Now the XEM has significant value and I want to operate again the NEM System and access my wallets. But unfortunately, I forgot the passwords and I have not writen the public key or these. Can anyone help me?
Thank you very much.
Please send me private message, if you can.

Best regards

Hephaestus

The account was dormant until 2023, at which point it was clearly under a new ownership.

In a bear market crypto currency project was not in use, Because some one did not see the crypto currency. Due to that in bear market cant find out investor easily because activity cost reduced lowly ,They again show started big improvement due to that cant find out always one good desire is there and if their purpose of investment is just getting rich quick as soon as possible.

There is zero chance this account belongs to its original owner.

I had already begun to suspect that most of the inactive, high-ranked accounts that suddenly came back online after a long time were either hacked or sold. Also, I get suspicious when I see an account above Full member rank with airdropped merits and earned only a couple of merits. I feel like these accounts have been hacked or sold. I often see such accounts with a few earned merits apply for the signature campaigns. The number of campaigns has increased lately, which is why probably more and more accounts started to appear.

The original owner was active until 2015 and was much smarter than the current owner. The gap between their posts suggests that the account has changed hands. The current owner is posting on the gambling board to run a signature campaign but the real owner never came to the gambling board. And the original owner had a different writing style which is not evident in the current posts. This definitely indicates that the account has been hacked or sold.

The account was probably hacked in 2023 and the password was changed twice the day after the account was wake up.

An account from 2013, dadon, just woke up and immediately asks for a $400 loan, and offers his account as collateral.

He even suggested he's trying to farm trust.

willing to take a smaller loan if necessary to build trust. Do really need the amount originally requested but I understand the hesitation..This is the internet and the crypto space is unfortunately full of dishonest actors.

It's hard to tell if he's the original owner or if it's a sold or hacked account.  It could be that he's just clueless about the current culture around here these days since he's been somewhat inactive since 2016.  Nevertheless, I'm leaving a neutral tag in an attempt to mitigate any shenanigans.

Looks like his account was hacked in Sept 2018 and then returned to the original owner in Oct 2019. Whats interesting is the account starting writing in Russian during that time, and stopped afterward. This corresponds with log entries on BPIP. It looks like the same owner still controls the account. But I would not give them loans as they basically have no reputation here, and nothing to lose.

I don't know how I never saw this user before, guess its because they don't post too much:

₿itcoin - registered Feb 2013

The original owner abandoned it in Feb 2018, with their last post being in 2016. It's a cool name but it was changed from "zeroday" to "₿itcoin" sometime between 2023 and 2024. This is possible because its a Donator account. BPIP shows the password was reset in July 2023, but the new owner didn't start making use of it until May of this year. They have 91 posts so far. At first they went to the WO thread to suck up for merits, which worked quite well given their name, then after joining the Stake campaign they quickly became a full-time gambling board shitposter.

I changed my tag left on this account from neutral to negative. People shouldn't be allowed to enroll hacked Donator accounts into signature campaigns, and campaigns should know better than to hire them. Its a slap in the face to everyone who participates in the forum honestly with their own account they had from the beginning.

There's at least 6 other bought accounts in the Stake campaign which I will get to later. Its quite obvious the manager doesn't care or engage in the slightest bit of quality control.

For the longest time I had a policy of not tagging bought accounts but I am going to make an exception for the case of a bought Donator account.

It seems too personal and hrash to me. Nutral was ok in my openion if you have any personal issue with him. Otherwaise without any clear scam evidance giving red is bad practice of power in my openion.

hope i could see your kind heart for all member of the forum, cause bitcointalk is open place and everyone should welcome except scammer.

sorry for my bad english.

Taking credit for accomplishments that aren't yours is scammy behavior IMO. Taking over old accounts and pretending they were yours the whole time is a completely dishonest practice. Let's revisit what the criteria for leaving a red trust:

Quote
Negative - You think that trading with this person is high-risk.

I absolutely think trading with this person is high-risk. They bought this account, its just a material possession to them, and I believe they would absolutely tank its reputation to get away with some kind of exit scam if it was profitable enough.

The current owner clearly has no regard for the integrity of the forum. They post nothingness into the void for a steady paycheck, all the while sucking up to the more gullible merit sources. I would say they are depriving legitimate forum members of a chance to enroll in a campaign but the Stake campaign is chock full of bought accounts so they obviously don't care about this aspect.

may be you are correct, but by curiosity i just checked his profile some time,

and explore the wallet address to find out any connection with other accounts but I got his online wallet is pretty good and heavy.

Not sure if it's bought or original OG, hope he could give a better explanation.

If he didn't bother to come around and clear up his reputation back then when his account got a neutral feedback, then I doubt he will do it this time round. It's probably because he knows that he has been busted.

Also, a person who buys or sells accounts deserves negative feedback because the new person behind the account does not represent the original owner. Account trading also encourages hacking and scam.

I have no idea how you came up with that address. It received funds from an exchange a couple of times, made one outgoing transaction, and has no other history. Its not linked to anything on the forum or the web.

There is no explanation required because its exceedingly obvious what happened. Frankly I just wonder why they thought they were going to get away with it.

The new owner is getting away with it.  Odds are Carollzinha isn't going to dump him for that tag, nor for spamming shitposts.  He may never be accepted into another sig campaign, but as long as he's getting a few sats from the stake campaign, he probably doesn't care.

Unless you start tagging managers and casinos themselves for the kind of users that they keep in their campaigns not much will change. The account is obviously stolen, I encounter its shitposts here and there. I am surprised that more people did not give him a negative rating, you have received plenty of merit on the post about it.

Just because Wonder Work has been linked with one account (pinhead666) does not mean it is the only account he is associated with. I left feedback for the Wonder Work account in 2024 because (amongst other suspicious patterns of behaviour) it was clearly no coincidence the account was created in time to join the pizza competition in the hope of getting merits by posting images of pizzas he allegedly made and/or had the hope of winning a cash prize.

The Wonder Work account is one of many accounts that were eventually tagged, just imagine the number of accounts out there belonging to other account abusers that are yet to be tagged.

Well, I did what I thought was necessary, can't make anyone do anything, oh well. I've been meaning to open a thread about bought accounts in the Stake campaign, as there's a lot. Not everybody has to care for it to be worth doing, I guess.

Just because Wonder Work has been linked with one account (pinhead666) does not mean it is the only account he is associated with.

I'm sure this person has at least 2 other accounts on the forum, probably more. I just don't want to publish names without good evidence.

When I manage to find some time to go through his account again, I might find something that could have been overlooked previously. Though suspicions were a bit wider, I had him linked to just one other account but it was not strong enough to get any form of consensus. Having said that, the fact that a large number of these accounts are associated with one country in particular is quite alarming (naim027 does come to mind).

It is clear he created the Wonder Work account in time to participate in the pizza competition thread therefore it was not his first account because he was already well versed in what was happening in the forum.

So the recently-purchased Donator account decided to leave me this nice feedback:

₿itcoin    2025-09-17        This annoying person has made accusations against me without any proper evidence. He wants to take away my freedom and defame me by spreading fake claims; it is entirely up to me to decide when I will be active on the forum or not. I am not obligated to answer him.

I did provide proper evidence, lets summarize it:

 - 9-year posting gap (2016-2025)
 - change in writing style
 - change in boards of posting
 - English fluency & IQ of posts dropped substantially after return
 - password reset in Jul 2023

Also the new owner claims they mined 50 BTC while the old owner never said anything about mining BTC. This is the account's first post:

Hi guys!
I've been stocking btc since its was $4.5 and I've been too busy doing so, that only today I found a moment to make my first post here  Cheesy

This is how they got their BTC:

About a year ago I started from 5% of BTC. Now I regret I didn't buy more as the most of my "low risk" assets were burnt on Cyprus bank account.

As I'm losing almost all of my fiat assets, I still have some bitcoins which i fortunately bought a year ago, and now I can only wish EU to collapse, which without doubts add value to my BTC savings.

Obviously the new owner's story about mining 50 BTC and storing it on an iPod is a lie. Yet another reason why the account is untrustworthy.

I can't even get myself to read that shitpost, so I clicked Ignore. It makes total sense to be accepted into the worst casino spam campaign on the forum.

Back in 2015, the user profile showed 1ZERoDaYZRfQTwKHCowT3XpYL3HuAvzbN, still hodling 20BTC. It would be nice if the real owner can use this to reclaim his account.

I had almost forgotten about the "bail-in" in Cyprus. After the backlash of that experiment, they simply decided to increase inflation to take wealth from everyone in a much less visible way.

During my time here I don't remember seing his posts and now when I saw user with ₿ symbol in username and Donator status posting like average signature campaign participant, it looked very strange. Nothing suspicious at all. All these things that you mentioned tells that account have changed hands. Can't believe that this is same guy returned to forum and changed that much.
Just wondering how much account with such status can cost in black market...
