Gnarcho is a supersub, he scored four minutes aftee he stepped his legs on the field. It was a good substitute that Liam Rosenior did because the new legs brought life into the game for Chelsea. After the goal scored by Chelsea, they got motivated and started playing the ball with full confidence, holding the ball more than Arsenal.

Ohh.. Arsenal has doubled their league again with a world class goal from Zubimemdi on the 71st minutes. Fifteen minutes left to the end of the game and Arsenal leads with three goals to one.

Please dont start the hype of that scrap of a player. He was only lucky to be in the right place at the right time. I'm upset with the way Arsenal play, they played so poorly that they made Gnarcho feel like a good player.

The Chelsea player who should be praised today is Estava. He was the best player on the pitch. He did so incredibly well. And the balls he progressed with, made Chelsea to score 2 goals in the game.

A draw is my prediction for the Chelsea vs. Arsenal match. Liam Rosenior is new compared to Arteta, who is already integrated with the Arsenal squad, but the Chelsea squad will give their all to strengthen Liam Rosenior's position as head coach.
Chelsea will aim to win because the EFL Cup format is a two-legged tie. The first leg at Stamford Bridge will see Chelsea strive to secure points to avoid complications in the second leg. Similar to Newcastle, who nearly lost hope of reaching the final after losing in front of their own fans.

You are right about this, their is no way Chelsea will get past this arsenal team at this stage of the competition with such a garbage defending,  though before the start of the game, I expected arsenal to qualify over both legs, since the hierarchy of Chelsea chooses to gamble with the club by hiring learners as coach, instead of someone that actually knows the job. So with the rate at which they are gambling with the club, I don't think that Chelsea will be good enough to get past this arsenal team or win any major trophies this season.
Additional, the January transfer window is open, instead of them to look for quality defenders to buy, they are just staying idle as if they have defense, this shows lack of commitment in putting the team in order by this current hierarchy of Chelsea.

I'm not sure if Newcastle can afford to beat Manchester city, although second leg is always a way for the weaker side to fight back but I don't think Manchester city would take it from them because without any doubt Manchester city has the best team in this Carabao Cup. Arsenal would have been more better than Manchester city but they don't seem to be that strong because I didn't know that Chelsea would played the way they did yesterday.

I think it will be very difficult for Newcastle to turn things around. They lost in the first leg at home. Therefore winning the second leg this time with Manchester City as the host is highly unlikely for them to turn things around as Newcastle can advance to the final.

The strength possessed by Manchester City is very capable but they are currently still the favorites to win the Carabao Cup especially with the victory they achieved when visiting Newcastle headquarters of course this will be very confident that they will win the title but if later they enter the final round of course the opponent they face is the winner of the two teams that meet between Chelsea vs Arsenal considering that both teams are part of the team that has a fairly high reputation in this Carabao Cup and they have even both felt the title.

Honestly both matches were interesting, especially the London derby, it was a game that was blessed with goals and moments. This is very much like it, I can’t really remember when last I watched Arsenal vs Chelsea and it was this end to end. Arsenal are in that exact position they really want to be, having a lead in the first leg at Stamford bridge then kill it off at Emirate when Chelsea visits for the second leg. I still think Chelsea have that possibility of making it to the final but it will be a very difficult quest for them.

Manchester city have a 2 goals advantage and now they will wait for Newcastle at the Ethihad, it was a very good first leg from them and definitely they would make very good use of that advantage. Your statement seem like you can predict the future, I know it's possible but don't sound like winning Arsenal at Emirate is impossible to, it's not good to underestimate any team and the fact that Arsenal would be the host in the returning match doesn't mean that they're invisible.

 As for Newcastle, it's true that there's little chances of qualifying for the next round, three goals is a big margin moreover Manchester City would still score in the returning match, but in the case of Chelsea there's still hope since they managed to score two goals yesterday, I just love how Garnacho is improving, I hope he maintains it.

Arsenal scored two of the three goals after mistakes made by the Chelsea goalkeeper. I admit that Arsenal was slightly better and had shown a great performance, but the result would've been different if the Chelsea goalkeeper was good enough. Garnacho was in the right place at the right time and he scored two goals, but his shots were kinda weak and they could've been blocked by the defenders or the goalkeeper of Arsenal. I still believe that Arsenal is the favorite for reaching the final and winning the Carabao Cup and would bet a small amount of money on them. This is going to be their season, unless something weird happens in the upcoming months and their performance deteriorates.

I think the teams that will progress to the final will br Manchester City and Arsenal,  because they both have the first leg advantage already, but this is football and anything can happen. I must also say that I was impressed by the way Chelsea played yesterday. I think if that can stick with the manager and they way they played against Arsenal,  I believe they will only improve and hopefully they can be a better team next season.

What do you really mean by score did not come? Were you expecting more than five goals in Chelsea vs Arsenal match? I know Arsenal will definitely win but I honestly did not expect up to five goals would be scored by both teams. Seeing the Chelsea lineup, I know nothing good will come out of that game yesterday. Chelsea fielded almost their Team B and they did what they could do. Considering the absentees, Chelsea performance wasn't entirely a bad one. At least, their New coach will know the area to work on and improve against their next game. Frankly speaking, Chelsea is in dare need of a top goalkeeper if they want to remain in every competition available. Another challenge is playing in their own half without the courage to get into opponent half and box earlier. Arsenal is surely advancing to final together with Manchester City.

I agree with you that Arsenal are going to win today's match. The positive results that were expected from Chelsea at the beginning of the season have not been met. At least I thought they would be able to compete strongly in the tournament even if they are not at the top. Their poor performance in every possible match has caused disappointment. On the other hand, Arsenal excellent squad and the pursuit of consecutive victories have strengthened their position at the top of the Premier League. Mikel Arteta is lucky and with experience he can predict the tactics of the opposing team and is getting consecutive victories.

Arsenal won that game because we have noticed that the PL table toppers have been able to win this FL Carabao Cup match with great difficulty, moreover in this match I only noticed that the Argentine player Garnacho played with extreme confidence because he alone managed to score two goals even though no other player on their team scored.

Arsenal has a strong squad; even the reserve players are very strong. I'd say they have both a very strong A and B team. Luckily for Arsenal, today's game is against Chelsea, who have a new manager who caused Chelsea to lose their last game against Fulham. Therefore, in my opinion, I see Arsenal winning this game. Chelsea has a good squad, but they don't yet have a good manager, at least that's what I'm seeing.

Chelsea's new manager hasn't taken charge of Chelsea games when Chelsea played against Fulham. It was the under-21 team coach who was in charge of the match.

This is the second game the new manager is in charge of for Chelsea games. The first game was an FA match against Charlton, Chelsea won by 1-5. This one(Chelsea vs Arsenal) makes it the second game, in which Chelsea lost to Arsenal(2-3).

The caraboa cup is not the same as the English Premier league most of this senior teams doesn't prefer using the their danger men so that they won't involved in an unnecessary injuries, Newcastle is not a weaker team but Manchester City still remain the favorite to win Newcastle.
