Arteta didn't risk it. I think the Chelsea manager is the one risking here, for deciding to bench Palmer. I'm not sure of what exactly motivated him to put Palmer on the bench in a game like this. For some reasons that I'm not aware of, Reece James is not even part of the squad for tonight's game. I'm not writing Chelsea off in this game, but the truth remains, Arsenal are the favorites to advance to the finals. The absence of Saka isn't a problem for them because they've been really good without him lately.

It's going to be an interesting one at the Emirates. But I just hope the ref doesn't make himself the Man of the match, because that's what English referees are good for.

The Arsenal manager by now must have learned the lesson already that teams should never be underestimated. Arsenal will be on the front foot against them, and try to score goals even before Chelsea can find a way back to the game. The Chelsea manager and players will try to approach the game like they are in the second half already and try to rush the Arsenal team. If Arsenal can control the tempo of the game and the midfield, they will win against Chelsea easily in the game.

Chelsea will start Garnacho, he has been good in games where they needed him.

For a Chelsea fan I was really disappointed at that result which shouldn't have being if the coach at that time really understood the game and knew what to do but he spoilt the game for Chelsea with some bad substitutes.

Tonight I expect a lot of different ball game from Chelsea. They have a new coach which has really seen them motivated with few streaks wins and which they would really want to add tonight game against Arsenal to the streaks.

For Arsenal, there's no Bukayo Saka in the lineup; he is going to be ruled out for up to four weeks to recover from the muscle injury he had before the game against Leeds. This will be an interesting match. I am already looking up to it. I thought the match is happening by 8pm. Now I discovered the match will happen by 9pm. It will be a very interesting match and I am tipping that Arsenal will win this match. It is not because they are leading already by 1 goal. It is because Arsenal play good football than Chelsea.

Again, as against Chelsea that takes unnecessary risk. Just like what they did against WestHam and lost the first half, Arsenal is not ready to make such mistakes or take such risks. So, they are always ready to give their best and that is why I gave them this night.

Same here even as am not and Arsenal fan, but i know the game wont be an easy one for Chelsea as Arsenal have already been considered favourite to win based on there players quality. Its almost first half  of the game and no goals have not been registered instead arsenal are still dominating and pushing to make it happen but Chelsea's defensive technique is strong to withstand the pressure from arsenal just to see if a goal can be registered.

The first half was very boring to me, I hope we see a more entertaining football from both teams in this second half. The first half is definitely boring because of the tactical approach by both managers. Both of them are not willing to take the risk because an additional goal can decide the winner and change the rhythm of the game. I think, Chelsea bringing on a few quality players in the second half, would increase the tempo of the game, and Arsenal would take things seriously.

A game with one goal difference can be like this sometimes, because if any team scores first, it is certainly going to affect the other. No one wants to risk it, even though one side has a lot to lose, if they fail to score first.

Let's hope and see what will definitely happen in the second half if they will come out to get a goal. Chances where miss in that first half and we saw from both side. Well I hope they score a goal, because right now it seems as if all my hope is just fading out, as I already bet for both teams to score. Right now I'm not to scared though as I'm not to expecting after the way they presented their play. If they can come with a goal for any side, I will be very happy.

The first half is gone and the result is 0:0 the both teams played very well but I think the second half will be more challenging and the way things are going my confidence is reducing for Arsenal because they are not making good use of their opportunities, Chelsea in the other hand is really trying and they may end up winning the match if they can keep pushing. I was suspecting that Bukayo Saka may not be in the  game as he needed much time for their EPL game where most pressing concerns rests.  But yet, Arsenal squad still looks fine to me without Saka in the lineup.  And looking at the first half, despite Chelsea's formation Arsenal appeared to have the midfield to themselves as it is that Rosenior didn't engage his wingers in the first half of this game. Perhaps he could make changes to that in the second half after studying the mood of the game from the opponent.

Exactly as I beckoned it' to be a war between the two sides, it's still 0:0  1sh half
