The final has been decided,  Arsenal will face Man City and it will clearly be another exciting match.

The second half they were a little more forceful although still not really able to apply any more pressure when they were so far behind now but it seemed like they knew they had to at least fight to the end although in terms of aggregate and time remaining it now seemed a little impossible to turn things around.

10 minutes of normal time left and still no movement to really trouble Manchester City even though they seem to want to change the tempo now to be slower because this score is enough for them to be in the final.
But on the one hand this is what I expected for a final because Arsenal against City is going to be a real treat in the final. I can imagine them how they felt having 4 goals on aggregate by the beginning of the second half so it was totally normal to see Manchester City doing like that after they secured qualification. Newcastle United didn't give up and they did well scoring a goal.

Coming all out to score goals was the exact same thing most Chelsea fans expected the coach to do yesterday. Newcastle came all out today in the first half, and they got punished. If Chelsea had done the same thing yesterday, Arsenal would have taken them for a fool by scoring counters. Arsenal would sit deep to win the game with counters and score more goals. I respect Liam Rosenoir for his decision yesterday now I know he is not going to be a bad coach in the league because of his brilliant tactics.

Immediately Manchester city scored their 3rd goal in the first half of the match, I knew there was nothing left for Newcastle, because I know Manchester city won’t seat back to make them equalize in the match, and if they manage to equalize, Manchester city won them in the first leg which is an advantage for them. Manchester city played well in the match, and they were able to get a win which they will be promoted to the final stage of the EFL CUP.

Am not really surprised with today’s result, for Manchester city to win in the first leg, I knew they going to be winning the second leg also and they were able to achieve that.

Semenyo has really lit up the mood of the team, their attack seems to be in free flow now compared to before, he's really brought spark to the team but I thought the same will happen to Guehi that was signed, I thought he will help hold the defense tight although some players are missing out so let's wait till they recover and see if their will be improvement in the defense as well.

Well, today the defense would be shaky because of the players available but they still did well and managed to  win. Now with Diaz back available I think the defense will be a bit stronger when he is paired with Guehi.

They will be facing Arsenal in the final, it won't be easy but it will definitely be an interesting game to watch.

To be very honest with you this is going to be a brutal final;
I mean, Arteta and Arsenal would like to do everything possible to have a trophy to their name this season;
In the other hand Pep Guardiola and Manchester City would want to avoid trophyless this season as you mentioned;
Then this will be a game between the boss and his boy (Pep Guardiola and Arteta);
PEP had met Arteta in some different occasions in the past and was able to beat him, I think this is the right time for Arteta to show him that he is no longer his boy but a man.

Yes that is true rotation is not a problem for Manchester City, they have a very good bench, and this game was already won my Manchester City before the game even got started, because I already knew that Newcastle have nothing to play for considering they will come out to play Manchester hoping to score some goals and also playing away from home wouldn’t help them as well, Newcastle have been very poor this season, they’re not scoring goals and they conceding so many goals which is a very bad performance from them, they’re attack isn’t performing very well, and I must say that they still miss Alexander Isak, they have really not replaced his goals for the team which is still affecting there performance, Wissa and Woltamade can’t perform like Alexander Isak it’s a huge Challenge for them right now.

To everyone who understands English Premier League system of football, this is me predicting that the final between Arsenal and Manchester City will be a settlement for the team that won't be winning the EPL. Arsenal is the closest team for the title this season but you see this EFL Carabao Cup 2025/26 Season they will find it different to difficult Manchester City because Pep Guardiola's men will want to stop them from winning double this season unless they go ahead to win the champions League.

Let's anticipate Arsenal against Manchester City but I think Manchester City will lift the trophy while Arsenal will be compensated with the league title.

From the beginning, it seems that there is no problem with player rotation but this is more about mentality and the burden that must be borne considering that when a big club is a champion with a myriad of great players, it is certain that they will be required to be superior and when unexpected performance occurs, it is certain that this will greatly interfere with their mentality which ends in a worsening performance.

This is what happened to Manchester City in the last 2 seasons even though in this match they played very well but overall they still cannot really be said to be superior again like previous seasons.

The match is over and we will witness the ideal final for the Carabao Cup with the 1st and 2nd place finalists in the EPL. It's definitely a condition worthy of a final as it's either City's winning mentality that can finally get them back to the trophy or Arsenal with their passion and self-defense after several productive seasons without a trophy.

Here we are at the big final I was expecting. The two best teams in England will face each other in the final. Manchester City dominated this cup for a while. But in the last 4 seasons different teams won it. Manchester City will be in the final to win this cup for the 9th time. Arsenal have only won it twice, this is very interesting. Their dominance in the FA Cup isn't seen here. Winning a trophy in March will also increase motivation in the league. I think Arsenal should aim to win all the trophies this season. I don't know how successful they will be, but they shouldn't be satisfied with just the Premier League. It's in their hands to make this season one that will be remembered for years.

It’s actually a thing about Peo Guardiola he usually loves to assemble lots of players such that he could be able to actually have a huge Squad to use and rotate and that’s why he has dominated the league for the past 10 years now. There was actually a serious rumour about a potential exit of last winter transfer arrival Omar Marmoush and it was because of the arrival of Antoine Semenyo and not anything. I was also looking towards the possibility of Pep sending him away because of Jeremy Doku who also plays from the left wing but it was actually the youngster Oscar Bobb that was actually sacrificed because immediately after coming back from AFCON, Marmoush has been impressive beyond doubts.

Today  again he has actually rewarded his manager with two goals for trusting him, he will be giving Pep some selection dellima as the season proceeds. Another player in they category is Tijani Reijnders who has been dropped to the bench to accommodate Rodri back into the starting line up after the injury
