it is now,
i can get one compiled and uploaded within an hour generally (depending on the code). it did take me some extended period of time to get to this point though

windows wallets are another kettle of fish though. i have limited success with those, and it takes me maybe two hours before i know whether i'm succesful or not.
but i use gitian method using linux vm's on a linux box which is i think terribly outdated now.

Is this coin dead or is there the need of a new pool?
I am working on a new multipool project and currently i am still looking for new coins to add.
The pool is currently in alpha closed testing (stability, snapshots, ...) but the beta with 0% fees on all pools will launch soon :-)

Yes, there is a pool and the coin is likely to grow as well.  I heard from Cryptopia developers that they are working to add multipool stuff soon too
