I can't believe how undervalued this coin is at the moment :

1.4 million users on Cryptopia current price 410 sats 0.04
5 million users on Binance current price 122402 sats $13.51

With Coin supply factored in ; I honestly see DOT at least 100x in the next 12 months. If not more.

I don't know why you think this analysis and promotion is important because if Cryptopia want DotCoin to be known, be used by anyone and grow it value, they will advertise it constantly on Cryptopia. They have the promotion tool for it.

Is there a working Dotcoin explorer?
Does everyone keep their DOT in Cryptopia's wallet?

"https://chainz.cryptoid.info/dot/" still works.
The wallet-included block explorer works perfectly.
The script-dotcoin source code is still in "https://github.com/CryptopiaNZ/DOT" Latest commit in master branch on 2 Sep 2016.
I have one of my script-miners in solo-mining and is mining without problems with at least four active nodes at all times.
The scrypt-DOT-blockchain is relatively small (1.1GB) and you can keep it updated easily.
It seems that "https://tradesatoshi.com" exchange-site is maintained but sales orders dominate.
In cryptopia you can only operate with the current token (the addresses generated for exchange are not compatible with scrypt-dot) ....

If is opensource code, have active nodes for update wallet and mine, have people interested in mantain usable your wallets, may be interchanged and have any point market for convert ... the cryptocoin may be not strong but it is not dead.
See by example octocoin (888) teorically disapear with the okto fork but actually is resurging in volume of trade and prize (there are many other examples).
I think that if you are going to use it as an investment you should not devote more than 1% of the volume of your cryptocurrency portfolio (corresponds to the risky part of the portfolio). Losing the direct link with cryptopia has advantages and disadvantages...

i can see you excitement but if you look at the facts you are a little too excited?

whats the purpose of BNB? -> giving back value to people just for participating, trading and saving people from fees in BTC!

whats the purpose of DOT? -> pay millions of dollars to get a coin listed on an exchange...

so maybe there's some room to grow some more usability first before you expect to get 100x?  Cheesy

Question - why is there still 3.8 GH/s of mining power on the old DOT block chain?

To Realsmaterhash:
Look in the block explorer of chainz.cryptoid.info
"https://chainz.cryptoid.info/dot/extraction.dws?563034.htm"
The conclusion is that the miner owner of this wallet thinks that
are dedicating that hashing power is a good bet.

Can't believe Cryptopia is forcing people to use DOT. They should tie it to a discount like everyone else and call it a day.

Cryptopia proposed any month ago the transfer of DOT-classic (free code and script POW minable) to more controlled DOT tokenized on the block-chain UBQ, and stop the scrypt-dot support.
I don't like etherum then I don't like UBQ tokens. I proffer gui qt wallets, they are easy of transport and backup, change manually the resident bock-chain disk etc ...Is very more difficult to change the wallet installation pathways for UBQ blockchain.
Solve of 51% atacks is solved with more nodes and adjust the software.
I think that more free in scrypt-DOT may be make that any developer make new modifications and any new release of qt-wallet.

So I'm reading replies and I see a lot of response that it is like a "tip coin"  and it will be swapped to other coins but what's the use or purpose of this coin? I mean how can it help users of crypto and incoming users in our daily lives. Based on the trend of projects this would be better if we can use this like in purchasing something online or paying some other bills.

What is the difference between DOT coin and CEFS coin?  Huh

As I see it, DOT is used as a payments means to buy services from Cryptopia, ie new coin listing.

CEFS is the coin you buy to share in the income Cryptopia make, ie if you are a shareholder you get 1 CEFS. Its like being paid a dividend each month.
