In this match, I’d lean more towards a low-scoring game rather than expecting a lot of goals. In recent meetings between Napoli and Roma, the scoreline has usually been minimal — one goal, maybe two at most.

I think Roma will stay very disciplined at the back and try to slow the game down. They have one of the best defensive records in the league in terms of goals conceded. Napoli are obviously capable of creating chances, but I’m not convinced this will turn into an open game. When it comes to goals, I prefer the under 2.5 option. That’s football for you — I completely agree, we both got it wrong. All the stats pointed towards a tight, low-scoring game, but instead we got a 2–2 draw and a completely different scenario from what we expected.
For Napoli, this draw feels bittersweet. On one hand, they avoided defeat and held on to third place. On the other, the gap to Inter is now 11 points, and honestly, it’s becoming harder and harder to talk about a title challenge for Conte’s side. The gap just looks too big at this stage.
