Totally unpleasant specially if a certain holiday or even into events like birthdays or even on anniversaries on which you cant be able to have that kind of dayoff but since we are talking about legal holidays then usually government agencies doesnt really have that work on which this is really that part of their contract and thats really that good for its employee since its been paid but there were exemptions that you can be able to have duty but there are some mandatory but at least it is really that double pay. For private companies or businesses then as an employee then you wont really be having any option to deny or would refuse to have work because once that they've said that you do need to work then there's no way that you can be able to say no. If you are living on having a financial state on playing around being poor or average ones then you will be thankful about these holiday seasons since this will be able to make you earn even more and this is something that the reality that we are facing into.  Working on holidays does really sucks if you are someone who doesnt really like money or additional pay on which we know that there are people who do love to spend up their time into their family.  There are really people who do end up on having no choice but to deal up into the current situation that they are in and since finding up a job is never been easy then they wont really be having any choice or option but to work since they do need to earn money specially if you are a family guy or husband then you will be needing up to have such priority when it comes to earning.

And this is absolutely correct. Plus, I want to advise those who will work remotely or just work and rest in one room of the house to better separate these territories. It is better to organize a workplace in another room or on the balcony, because psychologically the place of rest and the place of work should be in different parts of the house/apartment. This way the brain better perceives what state it needs to be in now. And it has long been proven that those who work from home on holidays remotely get more tired when they do all their work within the confines of one room.
And perhaps it is better to put off all work for later.

Employee's should know if their company gives them time off during holidays before they even starts working on them, so that they could decide if they want to stay or not on the company.
And I think this would be discussed before their employment or before they signed the contract, we should also be aware that not every company would give out this benefit.

And the money you will get should even be the one encouraging you to want to work because only businessmen have the funds to spend on these holidays without feeling it but with these hard times, I think we even need extra jobs to be able to survive this because with how thing are very expensive you will find it very hard to be able to live with all these things that have already happen and will continue to happen especially the high price and other things.

And working those not stop anyone from spending time with family and friends but when it is time to work there should not be any excuses, and if you look into this matter you will know that we need rest sometimes physically and mentally as you said but you have to program your self know when to work and when to rest it will make things very easy for them planning is the key to everything.

And you can do your work on time then maybe rest later because that is what a lot of people that know how to manage their time do and in respective of the work the moment your time is well managed then the rest should not be a problem.

I agree with the part that workers should have the right to take a day off on their religious holidays, for example Christian workers have a day off on Christmas. In my own country, this has been implemented in many companies where Muslim workers will work on Christmas, and Christian workers will work on Eid al-Fitr - this way can give workers the opportunity to take a day off on their major religious holidays. Or another way is to exchange leave quotas between workers, but maybe this method must go through an agreement between workers.

Because basically a worker should have the right to take a day off on their major religious holidays, it's like it's part of the workers' rights here. I'm not saying that all workers can get this, because there are some fields that do need workers to be present 24 hours a day, but companies that can enforce this should implement this rule.

I have seen that on religious holidays they celebrate and enjoy their religious activities according to their religion. Everyone creates an atmosphere of empathy with each other on this special day that displays human peace to all walks of life. Every religious event is a thrilling and joyful affair for the devotees. Those who stay abroad spend a joyful moment with their families on this religious holiday. If you notice, you will see that some of the working people have left their families in the country and some abroad for months and some have stayed abroad for years. All of them give more importance to one time that is their religious ceremony, during this holiday they enjoy these religious holidays together with their family members.

I have seen that there are many organizations or institutions which keep their institutions functioning year after year and have 24 hours duty in these organizations or institutions many people cannot observe this religious festival which I think is very sad. Regardless, we all should at least look forward to celebrating this religious festival and making everyone enjoy Opportunities should be created .

It is not ideal for any company or organisation to compell employees to resume  work during holidays,most company that their mode of operation seems difficult to cope with always stand a chance of loosing some potential workers.If company feels closing office during holidays that they will loose huge amount of money,they should bring in more workforce.I think by doing this they will be some staff that  may be willing to offer themselves  to work during this period rather than imposing it on them.

The difference is the force required, Im quite fine with a monetary incentive.  I counted the extra money as a kind of bonus for being a good employee, they dont want the bad ones to come and work extra so it was a kind of privilege.
   Forcing people to work days they need to have a normal amount of time off with their families is wrong and suggests extreme poverty or some condition of the work load or work place is wrong.

 The best employers have leeway to their workforce but some are tempted to run just a few employees at 110% of what hours they should be working as it appears cheaper for the employer, this is not uncommon unfortunately and is why people should retain a right to time off.

Whether we do like it or not on which there are some companies or businesses on which they do have that duty or work on holiday season on which this is really that those who do have that schedule on which its workers neither have to work or not but of course you do expect that you wont really be able to get paid if ever you do ignore or reject it out.On the moment that you do sign up some contract or agreement then you can read up those terms on which it will be that up to you whether you do accept or not, you do have that self will on what you should gonna do.

It all depends on the agreement between the employee and the company. When working on holidays, if the pay and the amount are as expected, there may be no problem. The employee will accept it. However, the company should look at the situation to see whether it is not a burden for them to work on holidays?That is what the company and its employees must discuss.

When employees take leave or the company does give leave to its employees, then there are no working hours that must be done by the employee, although there are some incidents where when the employee is on leave but their boss asks them to work suddenly, sometimes the employee agrees to it until what happens is that the employee works while on vacation. I have never worked in a big company like an office, but I think this does happen to those who work in big companies besides that I also have a friend who works in a big company sometimes he does have to come to work suddenly when he is on leave with his boss asking him directly to come to work at that time too.

It's totally their choice to do that if the company is going to reward working on holidays I'll probably not like that, but we have this thing called double pay on working when its holiday, so basically your salary is double if you work on that day If that is going to be the case I think it's going to be fine, but still at least give the employee a choice if they want to work or not. There are some time that I don't really have anything to do, so I might just work on holiday and earn a double pay, but there are just times that it was really tiring and I want to have some kind of vacation.

Obviously, companies are going to reward working at holidays since they need to have profit and most of the time, that is when sales are going to skyrocket since its holiday, most of the people are out there in malls, bonding with their families, eating, etc. So it would just make sense, that some employees need to work at that time.

This is the main reason I decided to be self employed. I dislike working for people. They tend to mistreat their workers which is kinda in human to me. During the holidays, I still see of of my friends going to their jobs with just few hours to spend with their family during these festive periods. Being self employed has been the best decision I made in my early ages. It helps me build my own establishment without needing to take commands or control from any upper authorities. During my holidays I take time to rest and attend to customers who needs to be answered urgently.

When you are self employed, you will be free from depression and less stress, you will have the ability to make your own decisions. You can spend more time together with your family and friends. Some workers don't have time for their family because they always pressure them at their Woking places. They should be time for everything, time for work and time for the family, during holidays I don't think its a good idea for the employers to call their employees to duties. Because they have an agreement between them. Employers should let their employees rest during weekends and holidays, with that the workers will be able to refresh their memories and think brightly about new ideas that will bring growth and development to the company, industry, business and so on.

Totally we can be able to say that this will be that situational because on the moment or time that you do deal up with something then you would be needing to reassess on what are the conditions that you are dealing on with. You cant just that needing up to choose up on something that will compromise your earning and since not all do live in a condition on which money isnt that a problem, then we wont be having any choice but to choose up on which do need up to work despite of those holiday season because we've been expecting more pay with it. For those who dont mind much about earning money because they are earning sufficient from other sources then they wouldnt be that mindful much if they will be working or not. There are some instances that you dont have any choice but to work because its part of your contract. Lets say that you dont wanna work because you dont like those terms but since you had made out some sign of contract in regarding about your duties and responsibility then you dont have any  choice but to get in line with it. On a holiday season then its important to spend up some time with your family because these are the times that you are vacant specially if you are a busy person. Spending up quality time with them is the most important thing for a family man. Although, there are those choices on which it do leads up that we dont have any choice because of such common reason.

You don't fool yourself when you have a business in a field that is crowded during the holidays, so if that's the case I would rather keep my business open and make extra money because at that time people are on vacation and spend money to meet their needs during the holidays, I prefer to take a vacation when people are working it's quieter. As far as I know, it will indeed be given a large overtime pay, therefore it is necessary to see from the beginning where you want to work because such consequences must be taken into account from the beginning before entering work so that when you are given a task on holidays it does not become a burden on your mind to take a vacation with your family.

I feel working on holidays as a punishment so I will never want to work on a Holiday for any event like Eid. But it will depend on the catagory of my department whether its a private industry or government service. If I was a soldier, I definitely have to sacrifice my happiness for other people. Some people have a different opinion, they continue to work behind the scenes to ensure that everything is in routine and runs smoothly. There are some workers who certainly have to work in order to secure other people or provide them a  peaceful environment. Healthcare workers, media professionals, military officers have to work weather its an Eid or any other festival because they are commited to their responsibility. I salute them because they sacrifice their personal joy so that we can enjoy our moments. Its quite challenging to stay away from their loved ones. Personally, I will not prefer working on a holiday on special events.
