But in this case, they’re really the only ones who know the full details. It won’t be shared transparently when there’s a dispute. IP is just one factor, but since we already know it’s one of the things they look at, wouldn’t it be better to avoid the risk if we can? We all have our own ways of managing accounts, sure, but if there’s a simple way to stay away from something that could cause account issues, then it probably makes sense to do it.
