I bet on several sports and esports games in the Sea Games but not on soccer. There's no specific reason but I can't be objective when betting on soccer especially since my national team has been reverting to its factory settings even though it was a hot topic some time ago. Wait a minute, you need to clarity things here. For the 2FA, are you referring to the Google Authenticator or the mere Gmail OTP? If I were you, I will prioritize the Google Authenticator, or better still, use the two together.

FYI, if you rent a phone number from any third party service, there is a non zero chance someone gets access to the same number and can tries to hijack your account the same way some people were doing sim swaps.

If it's something financially related, I don't like to use any virtual phone numbers. I know you may buy permanent virtual numbers, but still I don't feel safe with that. It's not like Telegram, which you create using a virtual number and protect with passwords. I had used virtual numbers to create Telegram, and often I have been receiving OTP on Telegram, which means someone else is trying to log in through my account protected by a password.
