I want to bring to your remembrance something you must have heard before in this forum.
Use caution with sharing internet access on your local fiber with others, strangers, friends, and even family. You should be sure of whatever activity whoever you shared the internet access with is doing so you don't have issues later on like multi-accounting or bonus abuse if they are also gamblers on the same platform you gamble on, or even the more severe risk of having your data stolen.
What do you mean? The only way you're exposed to such risk is if you're using public networks, the chances of it happening from your private home network are slim to none, unless there's a specific family member who's also accessing the same casino. Even if that's the case, you'll eventually be required to complete KYC (both accounts), something you've agreed upon signup, and would solve any potential issues or accusations about multi-accounting. The chances are also slim, but possible, if you're using free VPNs.

it can reach 2500-3000ms on ping, and that's so annoying.
For real? That’s barely playable anymore. It won’t even load properly, even for basic browsing. From my experience, the best gaming and browsing feel is when your ping is under 100ms. For gaming specifically, I’m already fine at around 50ms. Fiber usually does better than that, but with Starlink, they’re advertising around 20–60ms on land based on their site, which is actually decent if it stays stable.

I would never gamble using a public hotspot. You can’t prove the connection is assigned to you, and there could be other bettors using the same network, that’s way too risky. Even at home, sharing the same Wi-Fi with friends or family can already get flagged by some casinos, so imagine how much worse it is on public Wi-Fi. At least we’re aware of these things. We also know how easy it is to get tagged for multi-accounting, even if you’re not actually doing it. At this point, prevention really is the best move.

The casino will identify that the user is using a public network, it can be determined (with high probability) using the IP. Public networks such as airports have a different IP than a private network.

And I thought online gamers complaining of 200ms had an issue , now talking of 2500ms.. this is so unreal and maybe another speed test should be tried. Better yet more servers needed to improve on these speeds and make platform usable. -----; Alot of people have gotten caught up in this crisis of shared IPs via public wifi usage, once you share your connections with others you should bear at the back of your mind that anything can go wrong at whatever time, this is why you must not use public Internet for sensitive activity that involves you creating accounts or logging into your highly regulated platforms, e g casino that you know frawn at multiple accounts to avoid getting tagged for abuse.
This is the kind of information our casino's need to put out in the open to avoid these mouse traps, and if people have no choice better they alert their casinos for this to avoid any bans or losing access to funds or accounts. Otherwise timely advice for all

Yes, I agree. When you use a VPN you also share your connection with other people so you are changing one problem for the other if you think casinos will ban you because of the same connection from many accounts. And I think with https and encryption there is no need to use VPN for security reasons anymore. VPN is good if you want privacy and if you don't want the connection provider to know what website you access, but this is the only reason to use a VPN now.

@Betwrong in the long term is absolutely feasible hit such (impressive) multiplier... I would be surprised of the opposite... however this not means your experiment would end in a profit there are many simulators that can help for a basic estimation~ Yeah, I know, it's absolutely feasible. After all, the Mines on Betpanda.io is provably fair: so, hitting it or not solely depends on your luck and nothing else. I knew it could take a couple of thousand rolls to hit 6,000x+, I was prepared for it, but when I didn't hit it within like one thousand I became a bit sad. And when I didn't hit it with another several hundreds bets I decided to change my goal. I switched from to . Still didn't hit it, but had a couple of pretty close ones: Will surely continue trying to hit that 9,000x+. Wish me luck, guys. EDIT: While writing this post I was rolling and guess what, I hit it! I hit 9,000x+ on Betpanda Mines: I can't believe my luck I’m so happy, I don’t even know what else I should aim for.

There’s actually a basis for being paranoid here. Maybe you haven’t experienced issues using different Wi-Fi networks while gambling, but I’ve read reports about this before. It might not be standard across all casinos, maybe just random ones, but the risk is still there. That’s why I’m just being cautious. If using the same Wi-Fi in one household can already be risky, then public Wi-Fi is obviously much worse. That’s the logic behind it.

You also mask to the websites you visit your fingerprint and IP. This is very important, specially when dealing with cryptocurrencies and you want an additional layer of privacy. For example, eXch and sinbad were seized, and their data was also seized. People who used their services without a VPN could had their IP collected by authorities and customers of those services.

The last week of 2025 is here and that means lots of football to bet on. Each PL team will play 2 games, we have AFCON, there are lower league games in England, La Liga and Serie A games by at the weekend. The possibilities are endless so good luck with whatever bets you make.
May I also wish you all a very Happy New Year, let’s hope 2026 is a good one.

A happy new year to you too, LFC_Bitcoin For now, I am avoiding AFCON matches as I haven't had much luck with them. La Liga returns on Friday, 2nd Jan 2026, and I am super excited about this after the short break they had.

Yeah, you're right; I don't understand why some people become overly paranoid as well. The casino can spot which IPs are your most frequent ones, if you're logging in 100 times from your hometown in Germany for instance, and you login once from Poland, the casino won't suddenly flag you for one IP that may be public or a VPN. It requires much more incidents than this to cause issues with your account. Even in the unlikely event of it happening, they'll first ask for KYC, if you have no issues complying, you'll be okay.

Happy New Year LFC We have only a few days left in 2025 but we have good selection of games to watch, I will only add EFL Championship that are starting soon. I think one of the best matches for me this time is going to be Arsenal vs Aston Villa that is played tomorrow.

Also, in my knowledge, public Wi-Fi is really prone to hacking, and this is something the majority of people don't actually know. Some even really wish for public Wi-Fi access, especially in low-income communities or compounds. It’s no wonder so many people get hacked, because some hackers might see 'small change' as worth it if they can gather enough of it from many people to make a large sum.

People with much more money, not just a few bucks or at most a few hundreds dollars in a casino hacks usually happen when the password is compromised in some way. A large number of users set passwords with their birthday, children's names or similar, which is quite easy to "hack". Even the most famous hacks happened because the developer leaked the password. Very far from what we see in the Hollywood movies

Not really sure about this as it depends on the public network you are connected to and how that network is configured. But, as you said, if you are certain that you didn’t do anything wrong and didn’t intentionally breach the service/casino’s terms, then there is nothing to be afraid of. I just read the last comments and I'm wondering wether the the discussion is about multi-accounting accusations or the possibility of being hacked?May I also wish you all a very Happy New Year, let’s hope 2026 is a good one.

Public wi-fi are not that prone to hacking. If that was the case, there wouldn't be public wifi on airports, libraries, everywhere basically. When you visit BitcoinTalk, you access it through HTTPS (SSL). The hackers can't steal your data because everything is encrypted between your client and the server. Only if you access it with HTTP is that your traffic can get sniffed and you can get MITM attacked. TLDR: You're not getting hacked for using a public wifi to gamble on betpanda.
