I'd just like to share the first part of an idea I've been having, about how to market this coin, and to whom. Perhaps a good area to focus on would be quebec tourism/ any local industry that exists to promote quebecer culture and local attractions - museums, provincial parks, zoos, you name it ... then perhaps work out some deal with these businesses/organizations to offer discounted prices to those who pay with QBC ... Think of it as a blanket, discounted gift certificate for many tourist activities you can do in quebec

As an example, I would be ready to offer, through my business, discounted aeroplane tours of Montreal and the surrounding region, and introductory flight lessons for those who would pay me in QBC (or BTC or BC ).

We can't and shouldn't compete with monsters like BTC/LTC. So let's create our own, local niche!!!

Just had a phone interview with a journalist from Métro Montréal, I might have gone a little fast on the information (I tend to talk quickly when I'm enthusiastic) but hopefully he'll be able to write a good article about Québecoin.

I hope they have a wallet address in it. Cause I'll be sending some QBC their way .

If you can post a copy of it, that'll be great. History in the making.

Those are some great ideas, with the Android app that will all be made easier too. I especially like the part about discounted plane tours, it's a great motivator to get people to learn about QBC and acquire some. For my part I'd love to see an easy way to donate QBC to worthy causes, I'd love to see a "Opération Enfant-Soleil" donation QR code somewhere and simply take out my phone and instantly be able to make a contribution.

Why do you frenchies feel the need to be separate and unique? Why can't you just assimilate into the rest of canada like everyone else?
Does every State, Province and Town really need their own coin? How is that an evolution? How is that progress? Bitcoin took two steps forward and now you are taking one step back.
Bitcoin, used in all counties, nations and towns on the planet.
Quebeccoin.... used in quebec. Must be exchanged to bitcoin if you want to spend it anywhere else.

because we are not englist...are culture come from france and not england...

about the separation...its not the best solution...quebec only want to be reconize as a distinct society...and the federal gov are fight to make sure it wont happen...

but i dont understand why people make a big deal about quebec seperation...they say we are asshole for thinking about it...but remember the usa did the same when they declare there independance.

so it was ok for englist speakg people to separate from the british empire but for french people its not...lmaol
