Those are rare exceptions not everyone who is suffering from gambling addiction will turn into criminals, they will simply use whatever money they have with them and sometimes from their partners.

But it doesn't really happen just like that, one has to cross many phases of addiction before turning into I can do anything to get money for gambling so with time and effort it is possible to stop but one needs to realize they are turning into one for things to start.
Indeed, the urge to gamble and a strong addiction can push a player to do things they never even considered. Even if someone told them they'd do it, they'd laugh. But the fact is, they desperately want to win back their losses. So, they take out loans, borrow from friends and acquaintances, and when they lose again, they simply won't pay back the money, not because they're bad, but simply because they can't afford it. Although I know of cases where addicted gamblers have taken on multiple jobs and actually started paying back everyone they owe. I'm glad such cases exist, and I hope they'll be fine.

Indeed, the urge to gamble and a strong addiction can push a player to do things they never even considered. Even if someone told them they'd do it, they'd laugh. But the fact is, they desperately want to win back their losses. Although I know of cases where addicted gamblers have taken on multiple jobs and actually started paying back everyone they owe. I'm glad such cases exist, and I hope they'll be fine.
Nevertheless, it's important to be able to predict the future to avoid putting yourself in a position where you, as players, owe someone money. I personally understand that decisions will be extremely difficult for me when I owe someone money, so I simply started turning off the game a long time ago when I've reached a certain loss limit. Moreover, I recommend many others do the same to gain more control over their play and become more responsible. I think even professionals do this, because they understand that they don't want to find themselves in a difficult situation and risk going into deep tilt.

There are many articles online on how one should gamble responsibly, but are there any success stories of people who've successfully stopped gambling after following any advice mentioned in those blog posts?

I'm not interested in reading the success stories of people, who stopped gambling, but I'm sure that there are multiple stories of that kind posted all over the internet. You just have to put some effort and find them. The horror stories of gambling addicts, who had ruined their lives are more popular and are shared more often than the success stories of people, who got rid of their addiction.

Quote
There are other reasons people gamble too. Sometimes they gamble to socialize, or to relax, or to distract themselves from other things they have to do, which is never a good reason. Some people also see gambling as a form of entertainment, like going to the movies or watching a hockey game.

The number one reason why people start gambling is "to make some easy money". All the other reasons (escapism, to have fun, to relax, etc.) can be placed at the second place. Greed is the main motivator behind gambling. This will never change.

This is just one of the sad truth of gambling addiction.  When someone is deep in it already, the mindset will just shift from I am playing for fun to i just need one win to recover everything. And once that thought start to come in, they will start to do things they normally would not even consider, borrowing money, taking loans, even chasing losses with money they can not afford to lose, I have even seen people that sell their properties distressed sales just to get money to gamble..

Most of the time it’s not even about greed, it’s just desperation to get back and that usually dig the hole more deeper.

The best way to gamble is to gamble for the fun of it and not to make money off gambling, I know this is hard for most people but taking money away from gambling will give us great satisfaction so for sure to gamble on the safer side we need to always check the limits at which we put profits in front.

Having a responsible gambling life is a lifelong journey that requires discipline and dedication to apply all the roles that keep you on the safe side while gambling.
You’re hitting on one of the healthiest ways to look at gambling. When someone treats gambling as entertainment rather than a source of income, the pressure disappears, and it becomes much easier to stay in control.

The moment gambling turns into a money-making plan, emotions start to take over, chasing losses, increasing stakes, and trying to recover quickly.

That's true. The stress is where it mostly starts, and after that, revenge comes. The mentality of getting back what a gambler lost, and that's not easy to shake out of the system. It will keep on haunting the gambler as if he cannot accept the loss and wants his money back, as the gambling site owes him that money. It's not, or should I say, it should not be like that. We lose, we move on. That's how it is. The gambling system doesn't show pity or mercy. It will just keep on taking, so we might as well just enjoy every game that we play.

That first win can mess with the mind ehn… it will be giving false confidence like “I have figured it out.” From there the bet will start getting bigger and riskier. Instead of just walking away with the win, they will now start chasing another one, and that is where things do get bad..

Greed and the urge to try and get another of that feeling of winning is what use to traps many gamblers..  Before they even know it, the money they won plus the money they had before, will just go..

If we do not see these victories in the first stage with a very exciting mentality, but rather accept it naturally and enjoy it, then only our games will not reach an excessive level. Just because you have won once, there is no possibility that you will win here all the time. So we must refrain from making such decisions after winning by being overly excited. Usually after winning, people do not want to stop, they decide to continue playing in the hope of winning once again, and in the end this becomes the way to lose everything. So the responsibility here is to stop at the right time, if we cannot maintain this, then it is much more difficult to limit the losses.

Yeah, actually most people will try to pay back the money they owe because they are not bad people they are just caught up with their emotion without even realizing the outcomes could be bad too. But paying back loan is not going to be as easy they get them which also a responsible for the lender to pick the right ones to lend money not just everyone who asks for money.
If you are just that new to gambling then you would be that normally be that emotional because the main thing that you do have in mind is that you can make easy money with it and on the moment you do play and then losing up that tons then this is where realization kicks in. You are the ones will be able to learn up that its never been that possible to become sustainable with gambling and once you do get dragged with your emotions then this is the moment or time that you do make out tons of mistakes because the primary thing that comes up into your mind is on how you would be able to recover those loses next. Getting responsible and be wary about into your actions is always been the recommended thing on which a certain gambler must think of. Due to extreme greed and positivity and thats why people do end up on having some problems at the moment that they will not mind much about into their actions. Gambling isnt bad as long you are responsible and mindful about into your spending and as long you are that having some fun but in moderated approach then i dont see any problems on it but most people do goes the opposite.

Human have the charisma to given trial of things before backing out, those who tried and failed to back out is the trapped people who may likely be addicted personnel in the system. Gambling has force of attraction, and uncertainty build up, to be fully sure if failure is anchor to one gambling is some thing gambler can't admit in the process when their heart is set to Carry out the action it's better given a trial and see negative or positive action become their focus overtime.
I still believe on one thing that if gambling is too certain where gambler can determine it's losses before gambling a particular game as well as it's wining it would have been hard for losses to been seen in the gambling system, second no gambler will stake small but will hit the jackpot or whatever game once with reasonable amount to go home with better outcome despite the human want seems insatiable.

I think trying your hand at gambling is a normal thing for everyone, because the chance to win something as hard-earned and labor-intensive as money by taking a risk through such an enjoyable activity is a unique feeling for most people. That’s why, even before casinos and gambling halls existed, people were developing various forms of gambling to experience that feeling. Curiosity ,perhaps one of the most fundamental emotions within us, drives us to do these things, but every person also bears responsibility alongside that curiosity.

Gambling may be one of those situations where humanity faces both a reward and a punishment at the same time. No other living species can lose all their possessions for no reason; in fact, we could even say they don’t even possess such possessions to begin with.

Setting your own limits is the most important thing when it comes to gambling. Although gamblers initially maintain their activities within limits, over time their excitement increases, they gradually go beyond their capabilities, which eventually leads to additional losses. Excitement, the hope of winning quickly and the mentality of recovering previous losses, force people to make decisions that ultimately lead them to a situation that the gambler can never accept. People should be careful before making such decisions, human greed and emotions in gambling quickly take a terrible shape, so if we break that limit due to our excitement, then this loss cannot be handled.
I must be honest and admit that one of the things I have struggled most to overcome is that desire for more greed, It is this ill-measured craving that sometimes causes me to lose control, Yet, at times, I tell myself that wanting a little bit more isn't entirely our fault; the downside, however, is that in reaching for that little bit extra, we often lose the substantial gains we could have secured through days of hard work, That is simply not worth it which is precisely why greed is something we must strive to correct.
