I have an explanation for that. A lot student does not know who they want to be and let parents decide which university they should go, additionally to when choosing university, almost nobody makes a report which professions are demanded and where are excess of employees. In the end we get a child who does not want to do anything or be an actor, but his parents have sent him to study finances. It end with a child who does not want to learn, cant find a good job (because there are too many office employees) and he realizes that young actor earn nothing. Add to this "to apply for a job you need experience, and you cant get experience because nobody hire you". In such situation, of course mastering a skill is a win strategy.

I think to compared what is the most important between skills and school it depend on which countries where you life because some countries are encourage to their citizen to gets certificate of education if they want to have jobs and these conditions makes pushes the citizen to gets schools and this is the situation in my country that most of the companies especially big companies only want to accept the people who have certificate of education

So, although you have good skills for certain fields and probably an expert but if you have no certificate of education i think it's useless because you will be unable to accepted any companies in my country unless you do freelance jobs on the internet but i heard other countries has different policies that they are more likely to concern about the skill rather than schools

Let individuals choose which is better for them to pursue between these two because life is all about fulfilling dreams.

You are right. In some societies the number of poor people is so high that instead of being conscious about sending their children to school, they put more pressure on them to earn money. Due to the large number of family members, parents are indifferent to educating all their children because their children have to spend most of their time studying and staying in school.

They are more enthusiastic about spending this time to earn money. Despite providing scholarships and incentives to educational institutions to improve education, many talented children are forced to stop their studies simply because of poverty.

If I were to be a employer, I would take into account the person's skills, character, attitude and thinking first and then surely the academic qualifications might also come later. The educational system is something most of us have gone through and hence we know how "effective" it is to measure the quality of a person. A person is much more than his academic qualifications. Although it would depend highly on what positions they are applying as well, like some jobs require specific skillsets and knowledge, like medical doctors. There academic qualifications do matter to a great degree

And all of these is subjected to time and money. Cause i think if money is available both can be acquired at the same time. But if one doesn't have enough cash to run the both i suggest the skill should be done first then the schooling can come after to gain that academic qualifications.

Why i say that the skill should come first is because in work environment today almost every employer needs the skills of every employees first. Cause there are levels of work a skilled person can do. A person with just the school qualifications without been skilled can't do it. Skills and education are both equally important, because school not only teaches knowledge but also teaches good manners in the real world. However, if we look at the business and economic sectors, skills will certainly be prioritized, because the knowledge in school isn't comprehensive enough, even if all students study from first grade to graduation. So, don't underestimate either one, because each has its own advantages that we can utilize for certain purposes, even if the ultimate goal is to increase our own income.

In some countries education certificates are seen as the main key to getting into stable jobs and careers even if someone has strong skills without a degree they may not even get the chance to show what they can do this makes it hard for talented people who don’t have the resources to finish school since companies place more value on paper qualifications than practical ability.In other parts of the world the focus shifts more towards what someone can actually produce or contribute industries like tech design or freelancing often care less about where you studied and more about the skills you bring to the table and the proof you can show of past work.

Yes, many times, if there are any additional skills in addition to certificates, then the candidate is selected based on those skills. In my opinion, no matter how good the certificate is in a company, they don't hire a candidate without some experience and some skills. Along with the certificate, one should acquire some skills where one can survive in the job market based on those skills. Therefore, in addition to educational qualifications, an employee must have some technical skills and some work experience to enter the job field.

You need to see a reason to compare the two because it looks like getting a skill has been helpful for most people to survive in this generation than getting a degree and finally going back to get a skill due to insufficient jobs for graduates. Crazy things are happening and the government is not interested in our cry, caring about those of their allies and political partners.

I think that the level of education, the level or graduated specialists has became so low, a lot of students are so uninterested in studies, that employer would value a person with skill and experience, than a person with diploma. A lot of processes are too digitalized or automated right now, that it not so hard to teach any person to do their job.
