That is weird, I just updated them yesterday...don't know why I wouldn't be able to, today. Just tried unplugging the USB hub and power cycling the controllers, still won't work.

Indeed, fails to unpack.. 2x V1 units upgraded to V3. I'm expecting my V2 units later this week. Will test those.

Previous V3 only get 2/3 miners hashing, more unstable than V1. I'm still using my PC to mine in between.

New firmware : https://www.dropbox.com/s/gnt2hnf9e0fz0aa/LAG3355_12-RC10b.bin
Flash it using the update page.

List of changes with the new firmware?

Works with most, if not all other pools.

Confirmed that it is working for me on GHash.IO which did not work with the prior version.  I was able to install with no issues.

I've also fine tuned my miners individually with the highest frequency that gave off no HW errors and am now getting ~7.6MH/s with 21 miners.  Thought the results might be interesting to some.

EDIT: Had to lower the frequencies a bit after 12 hours of mining to eliminate HW errors.  Now getting ~7.2MH/s with 21 miners.

Thanks!
But have same error - "Firmware with name 'LAG3355_12-RC1' is not found", when i try update with v1 and v2 firmwares have this - "Failed to unpack firmware".

I still have the same problem with ACM1 and ACM2 not working on the updated firmware....  Can I flash back to V1 safely?

I have the same issue with my updated from V2 (with V1 image) controller. 2 and 3 always report 0.

Have you tried resetting it with a paperclip? I had some luck when one of my controllers was stuck on a white screen.

I had provided sandor with access to my device and he believes he isolated this issue.  I expect he'll say something about it today.... looks like he has a fix for it.

That's a strange one, but clearing your browser cache should fix that.

I tried that. Including using Chrome's incognito mode to arrest any cache issues. Nope. Still the same error message.

It looks like 20 miners with the new firmware are running better than 22 miners on bfgminer at the same frequency.

Many thanks to sandor111 for all of his hard work on this.

To elaborate more about my issue. I see the upload progress go from 0-100%, next moment instead of doing it's thing, it comes up with this message.

Right, it seems that www.lightningasic.com is under some sort of maintenance. Hence the text file containing info on the firmware bins is temporarely unaccessible.  http://www.lightningasic.com/firmware/md5/md5.txt, which is what the firmware is looking for to match.

New firmware : https://www.dropbox.com/s/cetsoqgn2t5ail3/LAG3355_12-RC10c.bin
Changes: also works with standard Tp-link 703N. slightly faster hashing (0-5kh/s/miner). Miner logs are viewable now. Fixed some pools, multipool.us and wemineall.com are still broken.
EDIT: Upgrading currently works.

Still no luck updating the new firmware with the LightningASIC TP-links. Is this the correct standard TP-link, http://www.ebay.com/itm/Mini-Portable-Nano-TP-LINK-TL-WR703N-150Mbps-WiFi-for-iPhone4-Wireless-Router-88-/221325209638?pt=US_USB_Wi_Fi_Adapters_Dongles&hash=item338802b026?
