The match was really intense, now the score is tied at 1-1. Real madrid fell behind in the 14th minute but they managed to equalize two minutes later. i think there will be a lot of goals in this match. Personally, I wanted to favor Real madrid at first but in the end I won't bet on this match.

It was absolutely a lucky match for Atalanta. What a massive performance from them because many people didn't believe that Atalanta would come back in this match, talkles of winning with this huge numbers of goals.

The million dollar question is, will Atalanta be able to hold on and finish off the match like this or probably add another without conceding to proceed to the next stage. Before the match, Atlanta were at the disadvantaged side as they lost the first leg, 2 - 0 which was like climbing a mountain to be in equal footing. Tonight, they equalised and added another one to give them the advantage. From losing 2 - 0 to now winning 3 - 2 on aggregate means If it ends like this, then Dortmund will be dumped out of the competition. It's just funny how Dortmund is, that team is one hell of a team that can be er be trusted. Adeyemi has gotten one in for Dortmund, making it 3-3 aggregate. I just hope Atalanta will not concede anymore again. Atlanta finally made it at the last with a penalty to dump the Bundesliga side out of the competition. Dortmund is one very nonsense team that you can never count on. Won first leg 2 goals which means you are 2 goals ahead, you need a draw to qualify or worse case scenario, lose by a goal and you still secure your qualification but no, you conceded 3 goals at a stretch, pulled one back and still couldn't defend it. Conceded a penalty and you stupidly got 2 red cards afterwards, it's good that they are out, let serious teams continue with the competition not a nonchalant team like Dortmund, very annoying.

The match result was truly amazing and inasmuch as luck plays a good factor in matches this Atalanta match wasn't just based on luck but accolades should be given to Palladino for his tactical brilliance and how he read the entire situation of the Dortmund team from just one meet. Dotmund thought they could hold the ball and draw out the inevitable but Palladino and the Atalanta team had hope and they actually pulled through with intense pressing.

The team I hoped would advance from the Italian group was Inter Milan. But unexpectedly, it was Inter Milan that failed and Atalanta that succeeded. well, this year's UCL, as usual, provided many surprises. It is very difficult to predict which teams will go far. I felt Broussia Dortmund were unjustly treated in this match, they managed to make the aggregate 3:3 and the 3 minutes extra time was far exceeded and the referee didn't end the match to enable them go into the 30 minutes extra time. Had the referee ended the match when he was supposed to, Borussia Dortmund wouldn't have been knocked out in this way. This is an added time, the both teams have done well and have exhausted their energies, end the match already and give them time fight fairly again. I'm so disappointed with that last minute officiating.

There is no unjustly treatment here, they didn’t do their homework on and off the pitch. They deserved the lose, this Borussia Dortmund team is known for disappointing when you expect them to do well. Atalanta were the better of the side and deserves to go through, there’s no two ways about it.
The late drama ending in 3 red cards is just messy especially from Dortmund.
Another drama waiting to happen is Real Madrid Vs Benfica…. PSG is again losing to AS Monaco, will they be able to conjure another comeback?.

This is just the beginning because Benfica didn’t looks weak, they have more shot on target in the first half than Real Madrid, and I am sure their coach will motivate them because for them to have registered one goal, they can score more goals in the match because they really want to qualify to the next safe if the Champions League which is the round of 16.

 PSG are down by a goal at the break thanks to a beautiful goal from Akhliouche in the dying minutes of the first half and now on aggregate it's 3-3 which means PSG would have to be intentional in their playing come second half if they hope to beat their fellow Ligue 1 counterparts else the game would be much more difficult than they hope for.
 Monaco have been asking questions of their opponents and it would be a good thing for them if they can add to their tally because we know PSG won't sit back and relax so it's going to be a very tough second half and a decider between who leaves and who stays.

Atalanta surprised me today. I never thought that they would be able to turn the deficit of the first leg and win the game. This competition is filled with surprises. Borussia Dortmund were the favourites because the Italian side is even struggling in the local league. They are currently in seventh position. Coach Raffaele Palladino in an interview stated that he believes that Atalanta could still qualify and it seems he is correct. Congratulations to them for their outstanding performance.

The equaliser Real Madrid got already settled the match because it someone shows that Benfica is mot going to find the match easy. The second half will see Real Madrid coming back into the match with full force prove a point that matches the emotional status of the encounter. In terms of their play in the first half - Real Madrid had chances to win, but sometimes they also failed to avoid fast attacks that actually threatened the goal. In the first half, Real Madrid almost conceded several goals to Benfica - but luckily Thibaut Courtois was still able to save them. The first half ended 1-1 - but Real Madrid still hold a 2-1 aggregate lead over Benfica, however I think Benfica will force Real Madrid to play longer at home if they can score a second goal.

As far as I can see - Benfica are very dangerous in building attacks and they can create good chances. Real Madrid will need to create more of a lead if they are to progress to the last 16 - but they must also be aware that Benfica can also win and advance to the last 16. The second half has started - so I'll be back to watch it.
