The second half kicked off minutes ago and PSG are still leading 1 nil. I expected PSG to score more goals at home but they have just been wasting their chances, so far Liverpool have made able to keep the lead at a minimum. They will be hoping to make a comeback at Anfield.

Both matches in today's UEFA Champions League quarter-final ended up with 2 goals to 0.
The first match outcome between Paris Saint-Germain and Liverpool was quite expected. After all PSG is better and played better than Liverpool which looked like a team in the relegation zone of Ligue 1 more than a top English Premier League team.
In the other match, it was the opposite. Atletico Madrid did not dominated the game, yet they extracted goals successfully from their few attempts, at the time where Barcelona failed to score, took a red card and played the second half with only 10 players. That was another defeat in their records after the Copa del Rey although winning after in La Liga.. That's said, we should not underestimate the capacity of Barcelona to recover in the second leg.

Right both UEFA Champion League quarter final matches ended up with 2 goals but difference Atletico winning at away match and PSG get winning at home match, I watched the match Barcelona vs Atletico Madrid is really excited. Beautiful freekick goal from Julian Alvarez should be the best goals in quarter final round and this match Barcelona have to played with ten players after VAR checking and Pau Cubarsí get red card at 44th minutes.

Difficult second leg and away match for Barcelona next middle week will face Atletico Madrid, if want to qualify next round must win above three goals and not easy winning from Atletico at their home match. You can’t steal the show and get the win when you have such possession in a game. PSG outplayed them very big time and I don’t think that they can actually get better than them even if they’re being given more time. I never expected Liverpool to shock us in this game neither did I expect that PSG are not going to triumph in this game.  The only shocking result I would have seen in this match is PSG scoring more than three goals and Liverpool winning against them with good margin. None of that happened and I think I’m okay with the result so far in this match. Onto the second leg to see what this team Liverpool has for us, a comeback or another loss.

Look, this match was really no different from watching them play in La Liga. But since the stage is the Champions League, there’s obviously something different from La Liga, and I think that’s for sure—whether it’s the atmosphere or other factors.

Day 1 and 2 was very interesting in the champions league games, the actions we saw was what some of us expected. So if we call out epl teams that are representing england we only have Arsenal because Liverpool are already out with all we saw tonight. I don't think anything can be done for Liverpool to do something crazy to beat PSG in the second leg, for me I just see the same drama that happened tonight to happen next week. Too bad that we can't fish out the problem that is hunting Liverpool, not Salah and not even the coach but nothing can be said is the cause of all their failures, maybe next season would be better for Liverpool.

It was just too much, see how farmers league team according to premier league fans is doing to their so called best league in the world team. PSG turned Liverpool to a second division team and this is not the first time this kind of thing is happening. Doue for sure missed a couple of chances and even Dembele himself, Dembele wasn't really in the game and that's the beautiful thing about PSG, if one or 2 of their best players doesn't turn up, it's not easily noticed because others will play and cover up for the others, that what a team is like and Enrique has turned PSG to the perfect machine, so long as I'm concerned, PSG is already in the semi final because they would still beat Liverpool at Anfield.

In addition..Liverpool have 0 shot on target. PSG goal keeper had zero saves till full time. Confused fans are not talking about this awful performance from Liverpool. If it were to be Arsenal, the world will be jubilating by now. This is the worst performance in the history of Champions league quarter final night. 80% against 20% possession in a UCL qaueter final has never been seen before. PSG had a calm training session with Liverpool.

Both games ended two zeros while that of Liverpool was expected that of Barcelona wasn’t that much… I had hoped for a Barcelona win but luck wasn’t on their side. This result is a big fuck up on their side the next leg is going to be very difficult at the Wanda Metropolitano ATM are going to go full defensive on that one but 2 goals is not much to overturn.
Barça defenders needs to be more disciplined, they have been causing problems for Barça in crucial moments.. for all my sadness tonight I can’t hate that free kick goal by Julian Alvarez.

Liverpool is a disgrace. They did not play anything at all in this match today. They just went there to play and disgrace themselves and their fans. Liverpool has totally fallen, PSG use them to learn how to play more football style, I knew that PSG will win them very well and they did. I predicted PSG to win, and I also included it on my bet.

I bet on Real Madrid to win, after all, they were playing at home with odds of 2.75, and I lost
I also bet on a Sporting win or draw, they were playing at home too and I thought a draw was at least guaranteed, but in the 90+1' the portuguese team conceded a goal, complicating their Champions League chances, and I lost the bet right at the very end of the game

Liverpool performed badly in the second half and they paid dearly for it. With what I saw in the second half, PSG had the chance to score Liverpool as much as five goals in the second half but Liverpool were just lucky that PSG were able to score just one goal. Arne Slot isn't even supposed to be Liverpool's head coach up till now, but for Liverpool board not to sack Arne Slot I don't know if Arne Slot would still remain Liverpool head coach when the season ends.

PSG missed big chances especially Ousmane Dembele. He couldn't convert most of the chances he got and this is poor performance from the Frenchman. Paris Saint German are known to score more goals when they host elite oppositions and Liverpool was no exception for them.

We all know Arne Slot will be sacked right?! He has now most more games than Manchester United former manager Ruben Amorim. Though, Ruben would have also lost more games if he was still in charge of Manchester United. PSG indeed stretched them like a snake does to it's prey and and hit them hard on the head. I watched the Barcelona game but I checked the Liverpool game and it was PSG game to win. Gakpo wasn’t better than Sallah he replaced.
Mendez had a comfortable match and although Sallah maybe washed he might have still put pressure on the PSG fullback.
Not much can happen for Liverpool at Anfield, PSG will be looking at winning both of the legs.
