That game was really something. City looked in control after going 2–0 up before halftime, but they lost their spark in the second half and let Monaco back in. Why did you say that if it was the old format PSG wouldn't have won the match. Don't you see that PSG were better than Barcelona on the pitch and Barcelona was playing at home. The new format will make the serious clubs become more serious and the strongest will always win the match because quality matters a lot. Assuming, some of PSG players weren't injured, we would have seen more goals from PSG.

The Liverpool loss should be expected because these guys have been terrible since the beginning of this season in the EPL and the UCL, we saw how they managed to win against Everton, Burnley and Arsenal but they fail to do it against Crystal Palace and now it has pushed them to go into the champions league to lose making it 2 games in a row. Well, we should congratulate Newcastle for their win, 4 nil against Royale Union, for me the host wasn't as good as they were 2 weeks ago. Newcastle now have a higher momentum to go against their next opponent in the EPL which is another poor side Nottingham Forest, it will be a home win for Newcastle.

I wouldn't say there were terrible, rather I would say they were conceding a lot of goals which is not good for a team who has high demands. I feel a lot of things is wrong in that team. Dominik Szoboszlai playing at RB, Florian Wirtz not in full potential but playing at LF at some games. We all see that Isak is yet to sync with the team. I have said it times without number, their highline will be their doom.

Not playing in full potential, you are too kind. Until now he's been a total disaster. Of course he's still young, he just arrived, he came from a different country and different league, but his performances have been terrible. Maybe he should play easier matches, he can't be in the line up every time. He needs time to adjust to the new system but playing difficult games right now maybe is not in his best interest.

The match between Napoli and Sporting caught most of my attention, as well as Barca-PSG. Hojlund scored two brilliant goals for the win against Sporting. I think he plays his best football at Napoli; he needed a change of environment, and alongside KDB his performances are getting better and better.

Just look at how he even thanked to the KDB due to the very accurate assists given KDB. If KDB would not played well, he would not score two goals. How KDB pullout such accurate assist from a tight marking position involving two defenders even got me more amazed. KDB did the game play while Hojlund did delivered the perfect finish. Two assist and two goals speaks just one language Sporting left back had very lose marking and made their defense too porous for Napoli.

It’s clear that Monaco came into this match well prepared with determination, and they actually deserve credit for holding their own against a strong team like Manchester City. Even tho Manchester City was leading with 2 goals before halftime, Monaco played well and added agility  and and ended the game in a 2-2 draw, which is quite impressive given the gap in their rankings on the points table, man city was unable to lead in the second half might point to some tactics error even tho they played well. For a team like Monaco to sit at 30th in the table, this draw could serve as a moral booster to them to pressure more on their next match. For Manchester City, this game should make them sit up and understand that no game is to be taken lightly, most especially in the Champions League. Both teams played well honestly the game was tight, but Manchester city will likely be disappointed they didn’t win the game given their early advantage.

In their opening UCL match, Monaco suffered a devastating 4-1 defeat to Club Brugge. I completely underestimated their performance, and I never expected Manchester City to be held to a draw.


I didn't even feel the need to watch their match against Man City. But I was truly surprised to see the final score 2-2. Man City had clearly shown their superiority in the first half, scoring two goals. Although Monaco also scored one goal in the first half, I never expected Monaco to equalize in the final minutes. Supper Easy and Manchester City have great players who can compete with any team. Monaco played well; just take a look at the goal scored by J. Teze. The ball coordination was simply amazing even before the goal, and I had no idea that Monaco could play so beautifully because they were alternating with Manchester City, which is incredible. And one thing that helps Haaland his is height is one of the advantages he uses to score. And pressure was coming from Manchester city just that all the shots were to direct.

And they will end up been blocked since it is a direct hit just thatvone thing I enjoyed about the game was how Haaland was super active and scored the two goals aside the chances that were lost during the game  I was also impressed with Monaco.

Indeed, in terms of strength, City is far superior in terms of players in various lines, but we can't measure the strength of the opponent only from the table or in terms of players alone. In terms of possession, City's chances were far more dominant in the game. Compared to Monaco, the Monaco coach managed to implement a tight defensive approach and effective fast counterattacks, which exploited City's weaknesses in the second half when they started to be careless which they shouldn't have been. Is there someone else or is it just me that finds a match that only one of the team is playing with the ball. To me,  this Real Madrid match that's ongoing is just so boring for, I was falling asleep and waking up at intervals while watching because of the boring nature of the match. I was even expecting lots of goals from Real Madrid. The first half was pretty disappointing because that's not the sore score I had expected with the way they are playing.

Sometimes games happen like that and it doesn’t matter which team it is, some opponents are hard to break down so it requires timing, patience and precision to get the game going the way we want. The good thing is that they got a positive result in the end and it won’t matter anymore if the team wins at full time.

Yes, PSG has proven that they are still a strong team by defeating a team like Barcelona in the group stage. Although Barcelona attacked strongly in the match, they managed to score only one goal, but they attacked quite strongly and were unable to score any more goals later. Yes, PSG played well, if someone else had the players without their star player, Barcelona might have conceded more goals. Oh yes, I agree with you. Before watching PSG's last match, many people thought that PSG would not be able to perform well without Mbappe. But after watching PSG's game, everyone now understands that the strength of the team is the biggest strength. I would not say bad about Mbappe in any way. He is a great player. He has many individual achievements. He is also on the list of the most dynamic players. His single goal brought the team victory.
