But it's not really encouraging for a team to start well then after a while they start losing momentum. It's better to start rough then get back up than to start well and lose form later on. Liverpool had a good start this season but lately they have not been impressing football fans. That’s wasn’t really the case with Manchester City in yesterday’s game, the boys weren’t relaxed and Haaland was cooking as most of us expected, I hoped though they might increase their goal margin in the second half but no, they maintained possession and keeping ahead in the stats before their misconduct in the minutes that mattered, the final minutes to the game, committing a penalty offense which the VAR awarded saw them lose their celebration, it was a close one.

I really don't get it at this point, there is no club in the English premier league that has been doing better than Liverpool since the beginning of the season, as matter of fact, they are currently the league leaders, nobody should come for Arne Slot at this point in time.

The Liverpool loss should be expected because these guys have been terrible since the beginning of this season in the EPL and the UCL, we saw how they managed to win against Everton, Burnley and Arsenal but they fail to do it against Crystal Palace and now it has pushed them to go into the champions league to lose making it 2 games in a row. Well, we should congratulate Newcastle for their win, 4 nil against Royale Union, for me the host wasn't as good as they were 2 weeks ago. Newcastle now have a higher momentum to go against their next opponent in the EPL which is another poor side Nottingham Forest, it will be a home win for Newcastle.

I wouldn't say there were terrible, rather I would say they were conceding a lot of goals which is not good for a team who has high demands. I feel a lot of things is wrong in that team. Dominik Szoboszlai playing at RB, Florian Wirtz not in full potential but playing at LF at some games. We all see that Isak is yet to sync with the team. Who does that? How can they even sack such a manager this soon. He just won them the premier league last season and even got them reached the finals in one of the domestic cups last season. That is even enough to keep him as the manager for a longer time. He’s still in the first position on the premier league and just got their first defeat of the season in their last game. Their journey so far in the champions league is not also poor, they can improve with every mistake quickly. He’s a manager to be kept for a longer time and not think of selling off now.

I doubt so because he’s looking like he’s not taking any chances this season, he’s going to get things done this season better than the last season. He has focused on more than one competition before and won about three trophies that season. He’ll not feel less of himself and knows that he can do better since he did it before. The sports industry has become a highly lucrative business, so when a major team like Liverpool doesn't win anything in a season, there's a price to pay. Arne Slot won't be secure and irreplaceable just because of one fantastic season, but Liverpool isn't a team that changes managers frequently. I think Arne Slot will be retained for various reasons, but it also depends on how Liverpool finish the season.

Honestly, I don’t see any reason to panic at all because the season just started. Every top club, no matter how good the club is, goes through period where things don’t how it's supposed to be with the club .  You can dominate for weeks and still have a stretch where the results don’t match the quality on the pitch.

That doesn’t suddenly mean the team has fallen off or the manager doesn't know how to win games anymore. Liverpool have already shown enough this season to prove there’s a structure, a style, and a plan in place.

I wouldn't be so sure about that. I mean if we are talking about not even going further and not be in top 24 with Liverpool? That seems like a good reason to fire someone who got 500 million euro or something to the team this summer.

If I am spending that much money on the team for manager to do fine, then I would not accept not being in top 24 at UCL, hell just 500 million for any brand new team should be able to reach top 24, let alone spending that much on top of the latest champions. I get that he won the league, but failing top 24 is a huge huge deal. I come across a post where someone was saying that Benfica might win or draw Chelsea because of the fact that, Chelsea former coach Mourinho is Benfica's coach and the person give some reasons why but it didn't happen as the person thought because Chelsea have a good team but initially before the game started I was also reasoning what the person said but Chelsea proved everyone wrong and I believe or feel that Chelsea will still win Benfica in their home but it is going to be tougher and if Chelsea won't concede a red card they will win.
