I don't know why anyone will feel that Liverpool is the favorite to win UCL this coming season when we have other big clubs that are as deadly as Liverpool. Last season when Liverpool was in their best form, they couldn't make it to the semifinals. In UCL, you must start fighting to be the champion from the quarterfinals and you cannot get to the finals by luck as Chelsea did in CWC. You must kick butts.

Liverpool will make a great impact in the Premier League this coming season, but I don't think they will perform much in the UCL like that because despite their new squads, I don't see them as a strong contender for winning the UCL. Even PSG won't find it easy this coming season, but I know they will do much better than Liverpool. My strong contender for the clubs that will win the UEFA Champions League is either Barcelona or Real Madrid. They both can't meet in the final, but I'm confident that one of them will definitely make it to the final and win the UEFA Champions League.

They have really sign some quality players so far this summer and more qualities are coming, with Isak opening up to move to Liverpool and a possibly rodrygo move will boost the squad no doubt but so far in the pre-season I’m.l not impressed with Witz, moving the premier league is never easy, the intensity, the atmosphere and even the media are challenges to over come. Ekitike is yet to make a debut, one thing for sure is when you make big money transfers like this there will definitely be a flop amongst them.

Maybe am not the only one having the feelings that Liverpool might just end up winning the premier league title again by next season, with the signing which they are making, they are really dedicated to win the premier league title again. This season real madrid need to show there quality to the fans that they are truly back to there fitness. This is a champions league thread though but I am so throwing my weight to Liverpool because they are the current champions and don’t seems to lack quality in this squad so maybe they can do it all again. For me I think the likes of Manchester city, Chelsea and also Arsenal who have had improvement in their squad will most surely compete too next season as it won’t be a one horse race like in the past.

Back to champions league discussion I think Liverpool will compete also, they did well in last years group stage uptil the fact that they were rated as the favorites before the knockout stages only to be eliminated by the eventual winners PSG. This season I see them competing yet again. My only scare is maybe Arne slot can manage a star studded team.

Liverpool seems to be far from Rodrigo deal because they are most likely to bid for Isak after the departure of Luiz Diaz, they have made it obvious that Isak is there priority than Rodrigo or any other player. And after this Isak deal which is definitely going to be a big transfer fee I don’t see them spending more again

Last season, Liverpool were undoubtedly the best side in the group stages of the UEFA Champions League competition as they finished top of the league table but during the knockout stages, they weren't convincing enough to get past the eventual winners Paris Saint Germaine in the round of 16. Next season, I expect Liverpool to go all out for both the English Premier League title and the UCL trophy but I don't the they're the top favorites to win the European Cup next season. They've made important signings this summer including Jeremie Frimpong, Milos Kerkez, Florian Wirtz and Hugo Ekitike and are still interested to sign Newcastle United striker Aleksander Isak. Liverpool will surely be a team to beat next season in the UCL but I think they'll need to stay consistent more than we saw from them last season to win the UCL.

From my own point of view, Liverpool does not stand a chance to go far in this season's Champions League because so far I haven't seen anything that shows they're ready for the UCL. Giving out Salah or Djike is not an option at all for them because Diaz is already in an advanced talk with Bayern on a possible transfer link. Also talking about Liverpool new signings, I'm not seeing anything very specifial about them. Loosing by 4 goals to 2 recently is not showing any positive hopes for the season. Anyways, let watch and see how Slot would survive this season and I can bet that Man city would proceed further than Liverpool on their champions league journey this season.

You're very correct. Other clubs are seriously making good signings even better than what Liverpool have acquired. Gyeskores recently signed for Arsenal and we all know that he's a goal machine.
