This is one of the biggest problems with Turkish teams. If this had been a friendly, they might have easily won, but I think Fenerbahçe will struggle in this match.

Your point is really correct. A team performance shouldn't be rate based on there performance on friendly matches because this can really be misleading. The pressure a team put in friendly match is quite different from the one they put in normal leagues. Fenerbahce has what it takes to win however Turkish team has been having issues when it comes to steady win on normal leagues like champions league. I am really wishing they should be able to win this time to prove many wrong.

Of course, forwards helping the defense is a big problem for Real Madrid, for example. You don't experience this at Barcelona. Barcelona forward Lewandowski often helps the defense and is tall enough to clear the ball from the defense. You're confusing it I think, it's Barcelona that makes use of midfield and that has been their philosophy for long now, Flick now has added a high line to Barcelona style of play, the team that controls the midfield control the game that's why they always have the ball. Real Madrid on the other hand depends on counter attacks, quick plays then hit you on the counter. Barcelona forwards don't defend.

We finally have some decent teams in this quali phase of UCL and I have a feeling Palos will win against Dinamo Kiev tonight and while bookies consider Dinamo as favorite , I think the other way and I see Palos having the better team right now and also favorites to qualify further.

Eyes on Shkendija as well because they eliminated FCSB ( our romanian champions ) and they might look like a strong team but Qarabag should be favorites in this one as they simply had massive luck against FCSB.

Palos played better across all 90 minutes and especially in second half when they managed to score and actually win the game.

Qarabag had a very balanced game and if it wasn't for that penalty from 1st half , this game could have easily been 0-0

Replacing Ancelotti won't be easy, as this coach has brought so much success to the club. Xabi Alonso now has a lot of work to do, as the team hasn't fully recovered despite the changes. Competing in the Champions League isn't as easy as competing in the domestic league, as there are many challenges that could arise. Real Madrid may be the kings of the Champions League, but that doesn't mean they can win the trophy easily, and in the current transitional period, there are many changes Xabi Alonso needs to make.

I do not think that is fair because we have seen them beat some simpler teams on their way to finals, and while that is fine, beating PSG doesn't make you the greatest team. I guarantee you, when you put them at the UCL, they are not going to be able to win it. They can be in the top 24, that won't be a huge issue, but they won't win the title. How far can they go? Depends on their luck, if they face easier teams, then semi finals is possible, but if they face a strong team right out the gate, then not too far I am afraid.

Real Madrid headcoach, Carlo Ancelotti was lucky enough to have the best players around and these players was determined to win games and lift trophies, they got it in them to come out in every game with stellar performance. What change in the Real Madrid team? We've not any scenario where the best team will not come out winning consistently at the top. Eder Militao was eager to play but base on his unfit momentum, we watch him crumbled several time and became one lesser on the pitch. He couldn't meet up the desirable expectations and this got him some flopping performance and stats. He's not only the one but others included.

Look, I see a problem with Chelsea, which is the consistency of their great performances. If you talk about a single match, I will not underestimate Chelsea at all, because they can surprise any team in a match and it can be any team. But I will not agree to bet on them for a tournament, I will underestimate them here. The reason for this is that, as you must know, Chelsea often surprise their fans with losses and wins. Just as they can win against strong teams with great performances, they can also lose against weak teams with disappointing performances. Chelsea can only be removed from the list of underrated teams when they are consistent.

If they could fix that, they would have become a great team without a doubt. However, the way they played against PSG happens like 5-6 times a year, they look great on those games and like a team that would be one of the best in the world. Then they play 20 games or so in the middle that looks quite average, nothing special, not terrible neither, like a top 5 team but that's about it nothing like one of the best teams, and they also have 5-6 games (like most clubs) that they just purely suck and play horrible and look like championship level team.

When you think about all of those, you realize that they are inconsistent and they cant be great. If they really want to win, they need to hope that one of those great games happens at a finals game, like it happened at CWC.

Your predictions in these two matches turned out to be correct, because the results Dynamo Kyiv did lose to Palos and Shkendija also lost to Qarabag. To be honest in this match I thought that Dynamo Kyiv would win the match, because their previous match against Hamrun was quite promising. Because Dynamo Kyiv managed to win the match in both legs without defeat and also with a fairly large aggregate score of 6-0. That's why I made Dynamo Kyiv in this third round qualifier. But it turns out that my prediction is not right this time.

But even so I still have hope, because there is still a second leg match and I think Dynamo can still turn things around. Because the aggregate is currently only 1-0. And besides that I was also quite surprised to see Covenhagen fail to win in last night's match. Even though I thought the team that Covenhagen would face was not a strong team, but apparently the team was strong enough to hold Covenhagen's draw. So the point is that the competition in this third round of qualifying is very tight.

I agree with you. Hansi Flick is trying to take Barcelona to a better level. They may not have done so well last season, but they are preparing themselves to be a strong opponent for next season. Adding Marcus Rashford to the team to maintain possession in the midfield and increase the strength of the attack should be considered an effective move for Barcelona.

I especially think that Barcelona is a balanced team compared to Real Madrid because they are determined to spread the individual performance of players at every level on the field.

Barcelona is a very tough team to contend with especially now under Hansi Flick. The recent signings and improvement of some of their previous players. Even though it appears that Barcelona is not usually lucky in the champions League but they will definitely be a hard nut to crack this season. Come 16th September, champion's league will kick off and every doubt will clear. But so far, if I'm to take a stand, I may not give it Barcelona to win this year's UCL but would possibly cross the semi final stage.

Barcelona is among one of the favorite clubs to win the Champions League next season from my own point of view, because they are strong and capable but they don't always show that commitment and dedication. They get kicked out in semifinals most times.

Next season might be something different. However, Barcelona squad isn't as strong as we think because if they meet other elite club in a different league, they show their weakness.
