It do happens in some cases, whereby the team you least expect to win eventually turned a winner, just as we always hype over one and against the other and guess right, we can as well have the opposite in some cases, football sometimes may be unpredictable, as we can be surprised at anytime, but i really liked the way some of the small teams are growing up these days, showing more commitment to better performance.

This is a norm in football even as it does not happen often, smaller teams does have the luck to win big teams in some fixtures so when I see this kind of things happen it does not really surprise me. The commitment these small teams put to their games sometimes is deserving of this occasional victory they get against this big teams. I'm curious to see what Fenerbahçe will do today because, looking at the betting odds, Feyenoord seems to have the advantage. Fenerbahçe needs to leave here with at least a draw. Of course, the ideal outcome would be for them to win, but we don't know if the team is ready yet. They didn't look too bad in the friendly matches, though. They don't seem to have any issues scoring goals. However, their defensive structure doesn't seem to be fully settled yet. Advancing to the next round is very important for Fenerbahçe. Lately I think the Turkish teams are finding it difficult to adapt in the champions League because they easily get knocked out, now Fenerbahçe under the special one Jose Mourinho is still struggling maybe if they play in the Europa League competition they would be more confident to play against teams in their range. If you watched their game against Feyenoord they played like a team that wasn't expecting a win in the game and at the end they got knocked out. We could say that, he got lucky and that would be acceptable when he did it once, getting lucky in a first attempt but, it’s not exactly luck when you were able to repeat it through several seasons and consecutively which was what he did.

Nice and Benfica performed quite well, until half time they had a lot of challenges and old games. But in the 53rd minute they scored the first goal and from then on Benfica became more aggressive. And Nice players still did not give up the game. They were quite strong in their home field, mainly I think their weakness is in the attack department.
Nice team has very few experienced strikers to score goals, Benfica team performed poorly in the beginning but in the last minute they became very aggressive and were able to score goals. Benfica team won by 2-0 goals in the last minute.

The surprise came from the Dynamo Kiev vs Pafos match. The hosts had to admit a narrow defeat after Pafos had a counter attacking opportunity in the 84th minute and capitalized brilliantly, I was quite surprised by Pafos performance as they put up a fight from the start. Dynamo Kiev didn't play badly either having two chances they should have converted into goals but unfortunately their forwards were unlucky. With this result we should consider Pafos the favorites in the second leg.

i also thought that dynamo kiev had a better chance of winning this game because they are a team with solid european experience, but unfortunately, they were narrowly beaten by a team whose name i only just heard of.

Despite the match lasted 0-0  in the 83 minutes, before Pafos manage to embrace opportunity that gave them chance to defeated dynamo in their home 0-1. If you are talking about the performance from the beginning of the match till the end of 45 minutes, I think dynamo players was on a better chance to win the match but their coach made some changes in the second half that make their opponent to create chance to score goal that lead Pafos to victory. I think this is just a lesson to Dynamo coach, to go and prepare his players against other matches that is coming up soon because they have young talented players that can challenge some big teams to become popular in many tournaments next season. If Pafos can used this opportunity to achieved victory from Dynamo home, there is a hope that they will definitely going to achieve victory in the second leg because they will take advantage of their home.

Only Orkun, Di Maria, and Carreras left the club last season. They sold Carreras to Real Madrid for a good price. The club also made a good profit from Orkun. Di Maria also returned to his home country of Argentina due to his advanced age.

All the other players are team players.
I really like Aursnes and Florentino. These two players make up my entire midfield. I wouldn't be surprised if they transferred to other clubs next year. Florentino is particularly good.
After Carreras' performance in the Champions League last season, it would be surprising if the big clubs didn't sign him.

In some cases, it is not even a matter of luck but hard work. Most big teams normally have overconfidence, thinking they can win the game so easily, not knowing that the team which is considered to be a small team is well prepared to challenge a big team.

At last, they perform very well to win the game. Like before, when Manchester City was still tough some seasons ago, they didn't give chances, whether playing with a big team or not; they considered every team as a rival and put in their best to win every game.

I've been reading a lot of talk about Real Madrid lately, with almost everyone favoring this club.
Why doesn't anyone believe Barcelona can be a strong contender and even reach the final next season?

Anyone who follows Barcelona's development will surely agree with my opinion, as Hansi Flick's arrival has slowly brought positive changes to the club.
It's very convincing that Barcelona can compete very well with the squad they have now.

Hansi Flick certainly did a great job, but let's not forget that he was already building on the good work done by the previous coach

I agree with you. Hansi Flick is trying to take Barcelona to a better level. They may not have done so well last season, but they are preparing themselves to be a strong opponent for next season. Adding Marcus Rashford to the team to maintain possession in the midfield and increase the strength of the attack should be considered an effective move for Barcelona.

I especially think that Barcelona is a balanced team compared to Real Madrid because they are determined to spread the individual performance of players at every level on the field.

Taking the team to a better or greater height is always or should be the priority of every coach because once a team is playing well, the coach is the one they will give accolades  because he is able to organize and coordinate his boys. Barcelona did very well last season but they were just unfortunate to play against Inter Milan, Inter Milan was a pain in the ass for Barcelona last season and that was do to Barcelona defenders and I just hope Hansi flick has gotten or recruited his defense else they will suffer same thing this coming season if they play against team that plays counter attack.

Yes literally Hansi Flick is like building squad to be stronger even though it is only like improving the squad that has been built previously by Xavi.
Bringing the club to get an impressive history does take time but if we all pay attention to Barcelona have developments while with Hansi Flick and this coach managed to rotate the players very well.
Maybe this Barca coach tried to use Marcus Rashford but for the time being Hansi would only try to see the development of the player and if he was able to make a good contribution I was sure Hansi would set Rashford as the main player.

The defeat against Inter Milan last season was not a bad result or rather Inter Milan like just lucky.
