Vini Jr is a very important player for Real Madrid, which I think the team really needs. I know that even though there was no really impressive performance from them last season, it doesn't mean they can't work together and bring out their best quality performances.

I am guessing that it is going to be an issue that they can't handle for the short term, which is why they need to handle this as quickly as possible. When you recall Real Madrid's squad from last year, the long-term injuries in defense come to mind. It's also worth noting that the full-backs were also injured and not very good. I'm trying to get the Real Madrid players who transferred this year to adapt to the team as quickly as possible. Vinicius contract expires in 2027, but I think Real Madrid will try to keep him at the club for longer by offering him a new deal.
Vinicius position in the squad seems irreplaceable, even though he hasn't yet established a good chemistry with Mbappe. I think, over time, the two players will be able to form a good connection up front, as both possess above average individual qualities. What I don't understand is why a Liverpool fan in a series game is hoping that the other team wins. I can't remember I was hoping for a team I am not a fan of to win against a team that I am a fan of. Maybe is there is some fate or touching story involved, but not even then would a real Liverpool fan hope that his team loses.

Majority of people underestimated PSG in the beginning of the competition. PSG struggled to their last match in the group stage and they have to win that match to enable them qualify for the play off. They became bold and confident in themselves.

Nobody saw them to be the favorite even till the finals. It was when the match started that we saw a different thing entirely to the opposite of our predictions. Barcelona super form ended in the semifinals with a strong fight against Inter but got defeated.

Yes, I did too. Nobody rated PSG high enough until the eliminated Liverpool in the round of 16. Nobody expected that because Liverpool had the best results out of all participating teams in the league phase. I think winning that game showed them that they can beat any team if they decide to do it. That's why it's always wise to stay focused on the task at hand even if you didn't have the best starts. I am not doubting Liverpool nor Salah to repeat the fit, but it is not always easy as far as champions league is concerned.
And again, Salah is aging. I was even surprised he gave such level of performance last season.
Doing it consecutively in the champions league league when you are not Ronaldo is not easy.
Take Vini Junior for instance, he was robbed of the Balloon d'Or title last season, he thought he could play in same level this season but it didn't actually work.

It takes patience to build a Real Madrid forward line, especially with Vini and Mbappé, because when they play together, both seem selfish. I think Xabi understands what needs to be done now to bring these two players together and make them work well.

It's nothing strange - you should already understand why this is happening. Remember how hard it was for PSG to achieve success in Europe despite having Messi, Neymar and Mbappé in their squad? Mbappe is productive as a main goalscorer - but his teams have always struggled for major success due to vested interests within the squad.

Vini's current lack of impressive play doesn't mean he's unimportant for Real Madrid. He's a nimble player who can penetrate deeper into the opponent's defense, but Vini and Mbappe haven't been compatible when played together. It will be a big task for Xabi to get the two of them to form a chemistry. If these two players play as a team (duet), I'm sure Real Madrid's line will be sharper and more productive, perhaps even more dangerous than the Vini-Benzema duo.

I don't see it as easy - but both players must prioritize the team's goals. Mbappé and Vini both want to be the best players in Europe - they're in fierce competition, and this could be a major factor in their selfishness. The Leverkusen team was not very strong. We do not see any star players in Leverkusen. On the other hand , Real Madrid has a lot of star players in their squad. I think Vinicius has freedom of leaving when his contract expire from the team, but he should not use because of Mbappe to leave the team to another team. We know that the two players are good in the winger level to improve the team, which they need to understand each other not to play selfish game that will affect the team performance next season. Despite real Madrid did not win the UEFA champion League last season, but there is a hope that they will get it right in the next season to challenge those teams that defeated them in the tournament.
