Tottenham fans are furious. How could they not be? They lost the match they won in a desperate struggle. PSG also deserves congratulations. They didn't give up, fought hard, took the match to extra time, and then won on penalties. Even though they were 2-0 down in the final 10 minutes, they didn't give up.

As for Tottenham, yes, they have a lot to learn from this match. This defeat may be what will allow them to be even more successful this season.

I actually did not imagine Tottenham bottling a two goal lead with 10 minutes of normal time to play especially when it is an opportunity to win a title. Congratulations to PSG their never say never attitude works for them again, we saw it work for them in the UEFA champions league against Manchester city now it is happening again.
I really also think that Tottenham did the wrong thing by deciding to sit back and what PSG control the play. PSG has the ability to score multiple goals when they are in control. I hope Tottenham learn from this defeat and improve for next season.

It's really quiet astonishing after they've had a very good first half and also scored another early goal in the second half. They almost won it but still failed at last. I really wonder what the players were thinking and doing that they had to let their guard down when it was almost over, I don't think Tottenham has ever won this trophy before and they were just within touching distance to having their first but still managed to lose it towards the end of it. I wonder how the fans and players will be feeling right now after a disappointing last minute display.

Tottenham Hotspur is the most useless team in the EPL I have seen. How can you be in a 2 goals advantage after an impressive performance only to give it all away in less than 10 minutes to full time of the match. This is disheartening and heartbroken.

Do they now expect to win through penalties take outs? It's just useless to my bet as I handed them a straight win in my bet slip.

PSG was the victor in the end. A comeback win for them is an excellent one for the coming Champions league competition which will be more competitive.

All things said I think I do agree that this is just PSG players redeeming themselves from the humiliating defeat from Chelsea and now Tottenham wanted to rewrite it on the faces of their fans. PSG just gave us a reason to see why they are deserving as the UCL champions.

This victory and additional trophy to the French team and the role of Dembele in that assist  in equalising that scores has just increased dembele's chance on the Ballon d'Or and there's nothing stopping him from winning that award.

I was supporting Tottenham since the beginning of the match despite the fact that I am an Arsenal fan, I wanted them to protect the dignity of the Premier League clubs against PSG just as Chelsea did in the FIFA club World Cup final, when the trashed PSG 4-0 in the final.

When I was watching the match, I left at 70th minute because the way they are both playing at that moment, I haven’t to Tottenham because they are dominating the game at that moment and they were mounting more pressure on PSG hopping to get a third goal; unfortunately, I just checked my live score, I was shocked to see that PSG leveled up within very short time, and since then, I know they will end up winning the penalties.

Anyways, congratulations to PSG, they deserve the trophy because they are the Champions League defending champions of the UEFA Champions League, therefore I don’t expect them to lose to to Tottenham today, but the way the match ended was so lovely in the favorenof PSG.

You’re not a core Arsenal fan but rather a more based football fan. Most Arsenal fans that I know hate everything related to Tottenham the rival is so bad that many even think Tottenham actually gave away their match last toe season to Manchester City just to stop Arsenal from winning the league tittle so I wasn’t expecting an Arsenal fan to support them in anything.

Moreover the first people That Tottenham are going to rub the win on should they have been successful is Arsenal they already are taunting Arsenal saying they don’t have any European trophy in their cabinet I think they will simply intensify the banter had they won.

Seriously I was disappointed with Thomas frank substitutions, if there is a way to beat PSG it is in the midfield that you have to outclass them, him taking off those midfielders when PSG was making their own midfield change was seriously a bad move.

From a losing position, that's from 2 goals down to equalising and winning on penalties. PSG use the last 20 minutes to start and finish the damages they melted on Tottenham. Tottenham's defense should be blamed for this display of shame, how the heck could they concede 2 goals just within 85th minutes to 90+4 minutes. If it was to be an England team that is when you would have seen Tottenham hold the 2 goals advantage till fulltime. How did they even won Manchester United in the Europa League finals last season because what i saw this night is a complete disgrace from Tottenham. They played so well in the first half up till the early second half but just when they were less than 15 minutes to win the Super Cup but they felt reluctant and allowed PSG equalized the 2 goals and won them on penalties. Anyways, PSG now have a trophy to console their lose in the CWC, congratulations to PSG, they were the better side at last.

Truly a compensation for PSG, it must have felt heavy  while they were losing 2 goals down. Paris Saint-Germain have been leading an climbing borders, they've been entirely on ghost mode, winning is a priority for them. Who takes the league more important than Paris Saint-Germain that's on streak winnings. They won it and have been majorly on streak winnings. Tottenham were very unlucky, even though they were in control of the game after leading by two goals. They were also unlucky in the penalty shootout, and I think this was a painful loss. On the other hand, PSG deserved to win, they were able to equalize and were very lucky in the penalty shootout. PSG victory underscores that they are still in top form, despite their surprising loss to Chelsea in the Club World Cup.

Actualy, Tottenham defeat was understandable, because on paper PSG is clearly the favorite. At least Tottenham were able to put up a strong fight against PSG, which made the match very interesting. Facing a stronger team is never easy, as even a small mistake can change everything. Tottenham's performance in the first half was much better, and their early goal put PSG under some pressure. Ten minutes from time, everything changed when Lee scored, leading to Ramos' equalizer in injury time. Losing on penalties was certainly unexpected, but it was unfortunate that Tottenham couldn't hold on to their lead after scoring two goals in the first half.

It was very unfortunate to see just a few minutes away from the trophy suddenly it went to another direction. Should I say a disappointment or a progress, this both words happened in this match, Tottenham fans was very disappointed while PSG fan see it as a progress. Even right from the beginning I never expected to see victory on side of Tottenham despite the were winning with two goals, because of all this I didn't continue to watch again since I didn't see what I expected but when I decided to turn on the match to see how award are distributed then I met them in penalties which I was so shocked because at the minute I left I don't expect a come back from them at that moment. They were really horrible at first. But there was a completely different team in the rematch. Even after getting 1-0 behind, it didn't affect them badly at all. Mourinho's students had an unforgettable night.

Now the next opponent is Benfica which is fiercer for sure. Do you think Fenerbahce will make it to league phase?

Sure, maybe he is not the manager you want in a league setting, he was never "that" amazing when it comes to leagues, but if you asked me which manager I would want, in a game that matters, like a single game to decide the faith of the universe type of thing, I would pick him.

Jose Mourinho is one of the coaches who has a good reputation in the past and always tries to increase consistent performance and disciplined attitude.

Benfica is not a small team in anyway and writing them off would be a very big mistake. I only believe that it's going to be a very thrilling game Vs Fenerbahce but I will presume benfica to win by one goal. Fenerbahce is pulling strong and beating feyenord by 5 goals to 2 would send a very strict warning to Benfica even though they were able to clinch a 2-0 win over nice. The August 20th game between this two might be one of the most thrilling games in the qualifiers. I don't think I will put my money to that effect since Morinho has many strategies of dealing with teams in his home soil.

You're very correct. If they can focus more on perfecting than going for more tricks within this short period it would be good for the team. Whichever way, it will not be a very easy game coupled with the fact that in their last meeting, Benfica triumphed by 3 goals to 2. Benfica should expect a revenge game and not just a qualifiers game even though it was a club friendlies.

Also Fenerbahce should be conscious of not receiving a red card as they do most of the time. If they can play more decent and maintain their number, they may have a bigger chance to win at home.

I felt like kicking them all because of the opportunity the misuse, I thought I will have another Chelsea in a different jersey but fortunately it turned out to be a fake appearance. Chelsea's victory was indeed a good one and it is something to be proud of, if not I will say the Farmers League secure every of their trophies this season by passing through England teams. Tottenham  really gave away the only opportunity they have to win trophy with their new coach.

Tottenham should already know the kind of team they are playing with but unfortunately they all feeling relaxed as you said which was a great opportunity for PSG to come back and win the trophy, throughout all the season Chelsea are the only opponent that make life difficult for PSG which I'm very happy seeing that.
