If not for that change, PSG would not have been able to win that game. It was annoying, to be honest, because from the start of the game, when I saw PSG’s performance, I knew it was a bit poor. Tottenham were really serious, and they were able to defeat them in the game, but unfortunately, those chances near the end of the game made them lose everything. PSG knew that if they could make a draw in the game, then they would be able to win in the penalty shootout, which is exactly what ended up happening, as they equalized in the extra minutes.

Although this might affect PSG in the future, everyone knows that if you keep a good midfield, PSG will not be able to win the game. Their performance might shake this season, as they may not be able to do as well as the previous season.

I too had expected much better game from PSG and like in the Club world cup, they played poor against an English team. Tottenham might not be as strong as Chlsea but they have shown great performance on this tournament.
PSG came to this with their Champions league title and Tottenham was here due to their Europa League title. Europa League is generally considered a lower league than Champions league and it is rare for any Europa League winner to win against Champions league winner. Had it been a lose for PSG, they would have created many records on negative side.

It's obvious PSG have depreciated so much after winning.the Champions League which was their greatest aspiration. Yes, Paris Saint-Germain won a match purely by luck and I think the match was refereed a bit in favor of PSG but don't worry, their era is about to end soon, they are no longer able to handle all the pressure and it shows, this year they will have a bad season in the Champions League

Tottenham Hotspur is the most useless team in the EPL I have seen. How can you be in a 2 goals advantage after an impressive performance only to give it all away in less than 10 minutes to full time of the match. This is disheartening and heartbroken.

Do they now expect to win through penalties take outs? It's just useless to my bet as I handed them a straight win in my bet slip.

Really gutted to see how Tottenham missed their golden chance after they took the lead with two goals. It's two goals and they played like deadwoods in the second half. Thomas Frank is not the right person to do that job, and could better if they still keep Ange.

Yeah, penalties are always that coin-flip moment where skill takes a back seat and luck jumps into the driver’s seat.
PSG might’ve walked away with the trophy, but if we’re being honest, Tottenham showed they could hang toe-to-toe for the full 90 (plus extra).
Some folks will say “a win is a win,” but anyone who’s watched enough football knows penalties don’t always reflect who played better — just who kept their nerves a bit longer.
Credit to Spurs for making it that far and pushing PSG to the absolute limit. If they keep that mentality, they can cause trouble for a lot of “bigger” teams next time.

Tottenham's Richarlison came off too early. Richarlison, the player who held the ball for Tottenham up front and stalled the ball in PSG's half, shouldn't have come off so early.

After he came off, Tottenham couldn't keep possession up forward. If you give the ball to PSG and retreat too far back, PSG will punish you.

I've noticed a significant decline in Kvara since the Club World Cup. He played terrible football again yesterday, and if he'd stayed on any longer, he would have definitely received a yellow card. He tried to stop his opponents by committing repeated fouls. Kvara has seen a significant decline. His greatest assets are his pace and ability to cut down opponents, but I haven't seen that in recent matches.
He'd improve with a bit of bench time.

Tottenham missed the chance of lifting the UEFA Super Cup trophy, and that was a small team mentality of winning the trophy. Imagine having just 5 minutes to lift a trophy, and you conceded two goals in those five minutes. Tottenham will always remain the team that doesn't have the mentality of winning trophies and being seen as a big team. When I said that PSG can not win the Champions League this season, I meant it because of their performance, and if you look at PSG yesterday against Tottenham in the first half, you will realize that PSG is not the same team that won the Champions League last season.

Even if PSG defeated Tottenham yesterday i still don’t believe they can win Champions League next season because many teams have figured out how they play and they also chase away the goalkeeper that help them last season, we can see the advantage of Donnaruma yesterday, the new goalkeeper made a mistake that lead to the second goal in the game.

The toughest matchup is Benfica vs. Fenerbahçe (for Fenerbahçe). In the Basel vs. Copenhagen match, Copenhagen is the better team. Basel isn't in its old form.
They're also equal in the Rangers vs. Club Brugge match, but Brugge, with their stubbornness, has the upper hand in my eyes.
I think Pafos will surprise in these matches and qualify for the Champions League.
They eliminated Dynamo Kyiv in the previous round, showing everyone they're not easy targets.
Ferencvaros vs. Karabakh is also the favorite, but it wouldn't be a surprise if Karabakh qualified for the league in this matchup.

PSG's performance yesterday was not impressive.  I thought since they lost the Club World Cup final against Chelsea, they would put in a lot of effort to play the UEFA Super Cup, but they didn't play as expected and were still lucky to be champions. Congratulations to them.
Tottenham played well and had a good opportunity of winning this trophy because they controlled every position during the game, but they were unable to maintain pressure until the very end. I was really disappointed by that, but sometimes in football, things are unpredictable.

O. Dembele's chances of winning the Ballon D'Or will decrease if PSG loses this UEFA Super cup in my opinion, but as of right now, I don't think there should be any debate about it because he has already won the major trophies, making it obvious that he will the Ballon D'or winner.

Give Mourinho a "win or go home" game and just watch him destroy other teams' man. Even though he hasn't been at the top level like he used to in a while now, he is still Mourinho, and he still has that sharp tactical brain that allows him to play those important games in a different light.

I don't think that it was the goalkeeper that made PSG victory possible. It was a collective efforts from the team. PSG should work more on the team because their performance yesterday wasn't that impressive compared to what I expected. Tottenham need to have a focused mindset when they are playing a big match because they played better yesterday but lost their pace in the second half which led to their defeat.

It was very unfortunate to see just a few minutes away from the trophy suddenly it went to another direction. Should I say a disappointment or a progress, this both words happened in this match, Tottenham fans was very disappointed while PSG fan see it as a progress. Even right from the beginning I never expected to see victory on side of Tottenham despite the were winning with two goals, because of all this I didn't continue to watch again since I didn't see what I expected but when I decided to turn on the match to see how award are distributed then I met them in penalties which I was so shocked because at the minute I left I don't expect a come back from them at that moment. I felt sorry for Tottenham after they have took winning throughout the entire minutes of the game.

I was shocked by the fact that extra time wasn't played and the match went to penalties. It seemed so strange to me that I was shocked, but perhaps they did it to avoid tiring the players too much given the heat. If it had been played longer, things would have gone differently in my opinion.

From what I saw yesterday, PSG needs to do better this new season if they will win the UCL again. There are many teams who will be stronger this new season, and Enrique pattern of play has been exposed completely, all thanks to Chelsea, and we saw a glimpse of that from Tottenham yesterday. Many team can stand up against PSG. Anyway, they only have to give their best but it wont be that easy this time. Liverpool, Madrid, Barcelona, Arsenal., Chelsea will do better next season. I am predicting the UCL to come from an England team.
