I have also been disappointed with Celtic performance in this tie right from the first leg, they were supposed to close this tie right from the first leg but they failed. I knew coming to Kazakhstan and looking for a win will be very difficult for them. Currently they are at extra time and the way it looking I think this match will be decided by penalty shootout. Kairat Almaty want this game to end in penalties, I think they believe they have more advantage there, having so much fans behind them will play a huge part in the shootout.

But I think it will be difficult because it has been quite a while since a team has achieved such a feat. However, anything can happen in soccer. If PSG demonstrates its team quality again by delivering its best performance and solid teamwork, then it would be reasonable for PSG to make history with its ambitious goal for that achievement. You know Guardiola is not in his prime anymore, at this point he is actually trying so hard not to allow the things around him interfere with his job and so it has somehow also reflected in his performance so seeing that Manchester City is starting off this shaky, is for me not really surprising but I agree they are going to improve along the line with the new set of players they were able to acquire so far.

Although I was rooting for PSG to defend their champions league title because of how they dominated the champions league last season, after PSG's bad performance against Tottenham Hotspur in the super cup, I think PSG can't maintain that same performance they used last season to win the champions league trophy. Even though the bookmarkers gave PSG the lowest odds to win the champions league trophy next season, I believe PSG will not be able to defend their champions league trophy because they have lost their rhythm.

I can't see PSG going back to back UCL champions either but it's fair to put them as favorite. What I disagree is Real Madrid being 3rd favorite ? in front of Inter ? because in my opinion Real should not even be in top 5 and they are only there because of how many UCL trophies they have ...so basically it's always a chance for them to win but not with this current squad and not in first year with Xabi Alonso.

Football is just like what we saw coming ahead but we never know the exact thing or how it's going to landed upon the way we expected of it, Celtic also never wish they disappoints to this extent, but the weight of what they face seems to be more stronger than their current capacity in the games they are playing of recent, which can also happen to any team in any match.

I don't know, like every year we talk about the same teams that can win the Champions League, and as always we are disappointed when we see that in reality the teams that were the favorites in the end don't reach the final or the final stages, this is something that teaches us not to underestimate the small teams that then surprise us or even the less favored ones.

In this upcoming season, these could be surely in top spots because they spend huge funds and have enough depth for taking advantage.

These teams are always in the limelight for being at the top but we still shouldn't forget about the current champion French club. However this club has not spent a lot of funds this season but they have enough depth to take advantage of. However at present every league in Europe has just started, so it may not be possible to judge which team will be the most influential in the upcoming Champions League. Even then the top teams can always be in the spotlight because they have master class players.

Many consider Barcelona's potential this season to be several times greater than last season, along with that we can see that they also have new additions from Man U. It is noteworthy that  the domestic progress of these teams may reveal to everyone who is going to be the champion in the new UCL.

Kairat Almaty achieved a big victory today, I didn’t think they could beat Celtic, but everything was decided in the penalty shootout, where luck plays a big role. Celtic had to win at home, in that match Kairat Almaty only defended, but today it was a different game, more balanced, and either team could have won. Allow me be the early judge, PSG cannot win Champions League again, i mean consecutively after winning last season. PSG performance isn't consistent as it was last season, their chances of winning back to back Champions league title is very slim, when i watch other teams i feel they are more prepared especially from Premier League, if it doesn't go to La Liga then any of the Premier League team wins.

Madrid also don't display a strong likely performance of winning the Champions League, they lack what it takes, Barcelona are a more suitable competitor for the title than Madrid, it will take them sometime before returning back to previous success like consecutively winning the Champions League.

Chelsea already unlocked their strategy and since then, PSG wasn’t a fierce team no more. Last season might come to be their only season in a long while. At the very least, this might well be the season for Bayern Munich or Barcelona. Both teams are showing great resilience in their local league. Like Barcelona having to come back from 2 goals down against Levante to win 3:2 or Baryen Munich trashing Leipzig by 6 goals to nothing. Those are teams that you would say are getting themselves warmed up for the champions league.

I can see that you have totally written them off and not even rating them to go through, I think they are still the best club in world in my opinion but since the Club World Cup defeat to Chelsea and the narrow win at the super cup final against Tottenham I saw that they are seriously beatable. Both Chelsea and Tottenham actually had the midfield in their control and this was what we all saw as the backbone of PSG. Seriously with the way they don’t even get to rotate that team most especially the midfield I think Fatigue might set in this season and this will most seriously affect them going forward. So I don’t also see then doing a back to back but wouldn’t totally write them off.

I see Liverpool way up but I am definitely not buying into their hype at them moment, right now they have the players on paper that are capable of winning the league and champions league but they don’t look like it. There two league games this season have been not so convincing so I don’t rate them that high for now.

It is not even easy to win the champions league trophy back to back. PSG after winning it last should know that other teams will be very prepared for them this season and will not want to take it easy on them when they meet. It’s something of prestige to win the champions league twice and not team will want their opponent to win it for the second time on a row. All teams have strengthened their squad more, so they will definitely be looking out on each other on how to get the better side of their opponent to eliminate them from the competition early. This season’s champions league will be a bit spicy than the past ones.

The bookies still think that PSG has the possibility of winning the Champions League back to back but I think that they should have given that odd to Liverpool, PSG can take the second odd but as for Barcelona and Real Madrid, giving both teams equal odds is understandable because they have a balanced strength. Though we are seeing Liverpool to have the likely possibility of winning the Champions League but I just hope they don't mess around as they did last season. Hansi Flick and Xabi Alonso will also be looking forward to win the Champions League and for the fact that Barcelona only stopped at the semis without reaching the finals will make them to struggle to get to the finals while Xabi Alonso will also try to prove himself to Real Madrid as their new coach after the exit of Carlo Ancelotti

Manchester City's performance has seriously declined since last season. I just hope it won’t get worse this season. Although they got some new players, we may see a positive change this season, but seriously, I don’t think they will be able to top the league this season, but change will definitely be there.

Pep Guardiola did not do well last season due to some reasons, although I will say one of the reasons that killed Manchester City is relying on some certain players, which we all know when those players got injuries, Manchester City's performance started declining, and even when the players got back to their feet, they were not able to meet up anymore.
