Two Champions League final matches in three seasons and two defeats are very big disappointments for Inter Milan. They still have good players but already lost Inzaghi, the coach that led them to impressive adventures in Champions League and they are currently managed by a very young coach Chivu. I am unsure why Inter Milan did not try hard with Gasperini who is a better choice than Chivu. Anyway, they made their head coach selection and will have to move onwards with Chivu in this season.

Inter Milan still don't reach to limit of this player generation and they still have some possible good seasons with those players but their weakness is at their head coach position with Chivu. An experienced coach can use their current players well and even can lead them to Scudetto or Champions League title but with Chivu, I don't believe that he will be able to do this.

If Inter Milan waste this season, one or two next seasons, they will waste very last chances with this player generation and will have to start with a new player generation with no guarantee that they are quality enough for Scudetto and Champions League titles.

Simone Inzaghi understood that he couldn't do better than that, with that team they would never have reached it again, certainly a very close team, but when you have a team with such a strong bond, they can even do without the coach, the players have remained the same and this is a very important thing for them

Yes, if we remember that, you're absolutely right. The Champions League title was completely unexpected last season. So, given that, it's possible the same thing will happen this season. I love the reunion of Sane and IIkay Gundugan. I have never believed in Turkish teams as I wrote a few posts ago, but I say that I honestly don't feel like saying that this time they can't do well, on the contrary I have to say that this team is strong and can do really well, I'm happy that in the end Osimhen stayed

I think you overestimate the capabilities of Kairat Almaty and Pafos, maybe Pafos played well but I don't believe that they will be able to play in the group stage as well, because the level of opponents there is clearly higher. It doesn't help much, and I'm a little pessimistic about Galatasaray's squad, even though they have some quite experienced players. When it comes to competing in the Champions League, there's probably a lot to discuss, and there's no guarantee that having a capable squad will give them a chance to reach the final and lift the trophy. In the group stage, perhaps we'll see the overall quality of this team and how they fare against much stronger teams.

Performing consistently in the Champions League is not easy, as several teams with quality players have also missed opportunities to win. We'll see how Galatasaray can show their best performance and hopefully can provide a balanced fight to achieve a better result.

The odds were like 4 or 5 when it comes to Chelsea winning that game, so it was definitely shocking for them to have such an easy win. Nobody expected them to have any chance at all and it was definitely confusing to all football world that PSG played that badly in that game. Of course it is not that bad, because PSG may have failed to win that game, but it allowed them to come back down to earth.

This was a team that won so many so far, that they started to get a bit snub and the hunger to win games looked like they lost it. But after the Chelsea game, and the way they "almost" lost to Tottenham, they looked like they weren't doing that great, so it was obvious that we would be losing this. In the end, we are going to of course have a chance to see PSG recover from those games and now play a lot better. This should be fun, and we could probably see them do a lot better. Not that easy to fix a team that loses it's way, but when you lose these titles, you become better again.

Yes, but unfortunately there are teams that have their nemesis, for example 2 or 3 years ago, when Inter won the Scudetto, they were undefeated except for the first and second legs against Sassuolo, a team that was then relegated.

Yes they have actually built and incredible team but the truth remains that they can only be best in their league, don't get me wrong but they can't still compete with the top teams of the top 5 leagues. In the Champions League, hardly before teams like this makes it far in the competition because when it starts getting real serious in the competition these ones will be filtered out for the real men to remain in the competition.

You forgot to mention that when Mbappe arrived at Real Madrid the club was already a ticking time bomb that is ravaged with injuries. I think that the main problem for Real last season was their defense, because their attack played quite well. Even when Mbappé or Vinícius were injured for some time, they replaced each other and the attack performed quite well. Last season there were very big problems because they lost two key defenders, Carvajal and Militao were missing, and they conceded too many goals. If you remember the matches against Barcelona, it was Real’s defense that let them down.

Galatasaray has a pretty good squad that can compete in the champions league and we can also see that most of the newly signed players have the champions league experience. I don't know what you meant that they have a weak defence and how you managed to come up with that. Is it because you are not familiar with the defenders names or you have watched them to know that they are below standard.
From my side, I cannot judge the defense because I don't watch them, but I know that a good attack reduces stress on defense.

I think Inter Milan was extraordinary last season, reaching the final. Reaching the Champions League final is certainly no easy feat, as it requires a lot of hard work. Unfortunately, Inter Milan couldn't score a single goal against PSG, even though many Inter Milan fans were hoping for a goal in that match.

They got also really lucky :
- In the league stage they meet only 3 good teams, Man, Bayer and Arsenal and they only got 4 points out of it
- Feyenord was anyhow a weak team, they struggled with Bayern, and their only true game was with Barcelona away, Inter managed to play two games really good, the one they won in Munich and the 4-3 with Barca and that was kind of all,  they did just enough to win, kind of ironic compared to how for example Liverpool went out in the quarters by playing just one wrong game after 7 wins in the league stage.

If you want to know a team that will do well in the champions League you will know by there performance in there league, any team that always win the champions League always perform very well in there league I'm not talking about winning there league I'm talking about playing very well in there league, if you check the people that won the last champions League trophy which is PSG they performed very well in there league also.

The Manchester City team that I'm seeing today don't have those super grips they had two or three seasons ago, their performance in the English premier League have shown that they are still trying to get their acts together, even in the last champions league their performance was far from what we expected. But one person I respect in this City situation is Pep Guardiola, his one of the most brilliant Coaches we have in Europe, trust me he can come up with good tactics anytime soon, but for now they are still in the struggling stage.
