I have no doubt on Chelsea's quality that they will win this time, if we Judge based on their current form and performances.

You are trying to make a point, but you can’t compare what happened in the Club World Cup between PSG and Chelsea to the game of PSV and Union Saint-Gilloise. This is a two dimensional example, because this is a game where you can conclude who will be the winner without even much comparison. Something that can happen someday, I agree with that mindset, as none of us knows exactly when that could be, as football is unpredictable. Before we think of that happening, let's think of Arsenal lifting the Premier League title this time because it has been way too long since they did that. Well I will find it really difficult to think  that Arsenal will win the Premier League this season. There is this thing with their mentality and watching their games so far this season it still does not look like they have gotten rid of the mentality, they mostly do not play like one who are chasing the trophy but like a team who just want to play good football and win their fixtures they can do better and even be lucky though but to me they still do not look like a favourite for the title.

I just checked the Champions League fixtures for match day 1 and I found something new about the days of the match which is way off from the usual Champions League nights that we all know of. To confirm, I check multiple bet sites and still saw same thing. Usually, it's only Tuesdays and Wednesdays that we watch Champions League football but this season I saw Thursday included in the match day 1 fixtures and that's a big surprise to me because Thursdays has never been for Champions League untill this season.

I checked too, and it's true! Strange! I don't think I've ever read any news about this decision.
Evidently, the show has to be spread over several days so that people can watch more matches. I think it's part of UEFA's marketing strategy, but apparently it's only for the first day. Then, when the Europa League starts, they'll go back to Tuesday and Wednesday matches.

Maybe just like you said, it might be for the first match day then they go back to normal days but seriously, this hasn't happened before at least non that I know of. It's funny again that in the next week, on Wednesday is when the Europa League will start and it's going to feature 9 matches that day and that's new too because, if there's going to be an Europa league match it's normally just one or two but this time around it's going to be 9. Maybe it's because of the new format which allows more teams to join and as such will require more matches as well.

Yes you are right, but it is never right to underestimate someone. You never know what will happen in the middle of the field. And if a team underestimates the opposing team, it will be very bad for them. I'm more impressed with the Champions League opener between Manchester City and Napoli. This Manchester City vs. Napoli match will be held at the Etihad Stadium.
