Keep calm, it's Real Madrid and the Champions League isn't even what you should bother yourself about them because that's where they thrive and they know how to handle themselves when it comes to that very competition. Losing a defender in most cases is worse than losing a losing a striker especially when there's no suitable replacement for such a defender in that very position. They were playing just fine even after the red card, they were still dominating but I don't know what happened to them in the second half that they lost control and Real Sociedad took over.

Real Madrid may have far more experience in the Champions League and are also the only team to have won the most titles in this competition, but that doesn't mean they can maintain their dominance, considering there are other teams who may be improving every season. The second half didn't go well for Real Madrid against Real Sociedad, and they even lost concentration to counter the attacks Real Sociedad players were trying to build. Real Sociedad regained control of the match and was able to dominate, fortunately for Real Madrid because Real Sociedad was only able to score one goal so Real Madrid managed to get three points.

Exactly, they have far more experience than other teams in the competition, that's my point exactly. Eras comes and goes and that's true but Real Madrid's own doest take that long before it comes and history agrees with me that's why the have the most of it. Even the team that's behind them, they have it twice as much. As other teams are improving, that's how Real Madrid is also improving, so keep calm like I said earlier, even if they don't win it now, I'm sure sooner or later they will still win more of it.

Tomorrow will start the match between PSV vs Union Saint-Gilloise in the UEFA Champions League. We are waiting to see how well PSV can perform in this match. PSV is still far ahead in the points table. However, the performance of Union Saint-Gilloise will depend on how the match will be played. If Union Saint-Gilloise players perform well, there is a possibility of the match being drawn.

There is a Champions League match between PSG and Atalanta on the 18th, you are probably talking about this match. PSG are the defending champions of the Champions League, so no matter which team they play against, PSG will definitely be the favorite. Atalanta is a team in the Italian league who performs fairly well in the local league but in the big tournaments, this team has not been seen to perform very well. Even then, since football is a game of uncertainty, the result will go in favor of the one who does well on the field. I am sure that Arsenal will be the winner of this match because Bilabo is in no comparison to Arsenal. Arsenal has what it takes to dismantle Bilbao defense and walk home with all three points without Bilbao stopping them. Bilbao is in a good form but they're too weak to play one of the best teams in EPL. Moreover, it's only Barcelona and Madrid that can a pain on the ass to most English big teams.

Athletic Bilbao shouldn't be underrated because they are doing well in the La Liga. They have won all their games until they lost the recent one against Alavés. Arsenal are having a good run but they are not unbeatable. However, based on current statistics, the English side is the clear favourite to win the game.  They have scored nine goals and conceded just one, which shows that they have a strong attack and defence.  Meanwhile, Athletic have scored six but let in four goals in six games. Any team could put up a convincing display, so let's expect a competitive match.

Arsenal has already discovered the weak point of Athletic Bilbao when they played a preseason match and Arsenal won them by 3:0 so i don't think we will see a different thing when they meet again in the Champions League. It's true that we can't belittle Athletic Bilbao or judge them by the friendly game they played against Arsenal but sometimes, how a team performed in a preseason match is mostly same way they perform in a competitive match. Arsenal were very impressive in the Champions League games last season, i think they will want to improve their performance in this early stage of the matches so that they can get a direct qualification to the next round just as they did last season so winning Athletic Bilbao will sure be a priority to them.

IMO,  PSG's chances of winning the Champions League this season are a bit low. Even being  in the top 8 of the table is going to be difficult for PSG. Every opponent of PSG in the first round of the Champions League is very strong. So psg is going to face a big problem in the first round.
Several teams have to be considered favorites in this season's Champions league. Liverpool, madrid, munich and barcelona are the biggest favorites. And these four teams are in good form this season as well. In addition, Arsenal, city, psg and Chelsea's squads are also very strong. So it is impossible to predict  which team will win the title so quickly. The teams will have to travel a long way

Honestly, don't expect much from PSV. They're behaving the same way they did in the first games of last season, where they were very unstable. Even in the league, they're not at the top of the league, they're in second place, and from what I see, they have a good chance of not becoming champions.

 That's why, in my opinion, I believe that Union Saint-Gilloise has a better chance of winning the game. From what I see, they're at the top of their local league table. They've only conceded 3 goals in 7 games, while PSV doesn't seem to have a good defense. If I were to bet on this game, I'd bet on Union Saint-Gilloise to win or draw.

For a safer option, maybe BTTS could be a better choice. The bookmakers might consider PSV to be more experienced playing in the Champions League, plus they will be the host, so I think it's reasonable that PSV is the favorite. We surely still remember last season when PSV surprisingly beat Liverpool in the League Phase, even though they weren't consistent at the domestic level. We'll see how they start their campaign this season in the Champions League, personally, I assume they will successfully secure full points in that opening match.

PSG will not neglect Ligue 1, but you know, PSG always dominates Ligue 1. Last season, when they won the Champions League, PSG only lost twice in Ligue 1. I wouldn’t say PSG is more focused on the Champions League, but in reality, the competitive level of the teams in Ligue 1 is indeed not as tight as other leagues. Even PSG, I am sure, can be quite relaxed when they want to rest their key players for Champions League matches.

PSG has managed to keep up with good domestic league performance consistency due to the squad of players they have and because there is a lack of great competition for the title- other than a slip from the top spot in Ligue 1. My personal take is that it will not be much of an issue for PSG’s first team having to return and play in packed schedules for the Champions League. Even if PSG slipped from the lead in Ligue 1, they found ways to return to winning.

To retain their Ligue 1 crown is of immense importance, but above that lies a matter of greater significance: by what means are they able to safeguard their Champions League title from the preceding season?

This game will be a test of how these two teams have improved so far because the truth is that last season these two teams were not that superb and did not empress much especially in the champions League. so I will expect that both teams should come out and play their best because at this stage of the competition there's no pressure on any team.



But this stage of any competition is the best time to accumulate much points as possible because this is the starting stage we're most teams will be dropping points, but going by the performance of these two teams it bayern munich was fantastic this weekend so I believe that they will use that form to go into this game. But Chelsea is one team that I have seen that is unpredictable as they has surprised us in the past when the odds were against them so I expect that they will come up with a good performance in this game.

This season’s Champions League is still very fresh to predict which team is going further and which team is not going because as it stand now, all teams have equal chances of winning this competition which we all know; but some teams do have high expectations from the fans and even the organizer because they have good squad compared to others, that’s why we call them favorites to win the competition and PSG is one of them which I think something different will happen this season because I don’t think they have the squad to win this Champions League this season.

With this current injury status for PSG, I don’t think they will go that far this season. They might surely defeat Atalanta in their opening match which is still not certain because football isn’t predictable now; but I think there are teams with better squad than PSG in the Champions League this season.

The quality of a squad isn't always determined by top players; teamwork and strong performance are the qualities that are truly expected. Bayern Munich has a quality squad, performs well, and is one of the favorites for the Champions League every season.

But experience doesn't count anymore, there are cycles in football and Carlo Ancelotti had given one by winning a lot, but then like all cycles end and the teams degrade, it happens to everyone, only we are not used to seeing it at Real Madrid but I fear that this moment has arrived

According to you, on paper Bayern Munich is supposed to win Chelsea because historically they are far better than Chelsea in terms of Champions League performance and also Chelsea is visiting them in Germany which gives them an advantage to give their best.
I also do not agree that Bayern Munich do not have quality squad that will scare Chelsea players. It is not about scaring Chelsea players but I assure you that Bayern Munich has a good squad to face Chelsea squarely.

Sorry to say Chelsea of five previous seasons was far better compared to the present, I’m not convince when people say Bayern will defeat Chelsea because Bayern can actually win the match. I made the prediction not minding the win against PSG, I know fans will make reference involving PSG but that match was totally different and with the help of Palmer although Chelsea is unpredictable probably they might draw. So far this season Chelsea is doing well likewise Bayern so I’m expecting a tough performance from both team just not sure if Chelsea can defeat Bayern so easy viewing how Bayern defeated best premier league clubs.
