Tomorrow we will look back at very interesting competition and certainly very competitive. But from most matches somehow I am a little more focused and curious about the Munich and Chelsea matches. Chelsea who are always praised after successfully getting rid of PSG in the CWC competition but this time facing Munich is not an easy job and the chances of Chelsea victory are very small.

What do you think ?

Can Chelsea do it ?
They have been losing to Bayern Munich in their last five games which needs to stop because I am very sure Chelsea of this is completely different from Chelsea of like five previous seasons, and Bayern Munich on the other hand don’t also have quality squad that Chelsea will be afraid of therefore, I will be expecting Chelsea to either win this match or get a draw.

Sorry to say Chelsea of five previous seasons was far better compared to the present, I’m not convince when people say Bayern will defeat Chelsea because Bayern can actually win the match. I made the prediction not minding the win against PSG, I know fans will make reference involving PSG but that match was totally different and with the help of Palmer although Chelsea is unpredictable probably they might draw. So far this season Chelsea is doing well likewise Bayern so I’m expecting a tough performance from both team just not sure if Chelsea can defeat Bayern so easy viewing how Bayern defeated best premier league clubs.

It is possible for Chelsea based on their determination just the way they did against PSG in the final.

I don't agree of you saying Bayern Munich don't have a quality squad that can literally out perform Chelsea in the game, Bayern Munich do have quality squad, both teams should be terrified of themselves, if one team goes in weak then we can expect a high score at the end of the match.

According to you, on paper Bayern Munich is supposed to win Chelsea because historically they are far better than Chelsea in terms of Champions League performance and also Chelsea is visiting them in Germany which gives them an advantage to give their best.
I also do not agree that Bayern Munich do not have quality squad that will scare Chelsea players. It is not about scaring Chelsea players but I assure you that Bayern Munich has a good squad to face Chelsea squarely.

On paper, Bayern Munich is the favorite to win this match based on recent Champions League performances for both club, and the results of their previous encounters against each others in all competitions.

Chelsea recently signed a lot of players to strengthen their squad depth so they also have chance to prove something in this match especially after playing a draw against Brentford in their last Premier League match; so they will put more effort in this match to get a win because it has been a while Chelsea defeated Bayern Munich.

In the other hand, we have seen that Chelsea have improved over this seasons and there are literally not afraid of any club since they were able to beat PSG which were at their peak of performance. Even when you think that Chelsea is not playing well, they have a way of winning matches even when you do not expect it, that is the reason Bayern Munich will have to be very careful with Chelsea

Yes, compared to last two season, Enzo Maresca has improved Chelsea’s performance and they win the URFA Conference League and the Club World Cup, so we can’t underrate them in this season’s Champions league because they have a lot of thing to prove since they have new players.
Nevertheless, Champions League experience matter a lot, and that’s the only reason I will back Bayern Munich to win.

Strong team doesn’t mean they cannot be beaten and that still doesn’t make such team non-superior. Yeah people might think Chelsea does have it because they took out PSG but I don’t think they’ve watched Bayern games, not saying they can’t be beaten but even against PSG they had it, the only reason for  the first goal was because of a silly mistake  and of course, Bayern wasn’t that solid last season can’t say this new season though other than they conceeded which doesnt look nice.
I can’t say  for sure who would win it though but if I’m to pick then I will also go for Bayern or draw

Athletic Bilbao shouldn't be underrated because they are doing well in the La Liga. They have won all their games until they lost the recent one against Alavés. Arsenal are having a good run but they are not unbeatable. However, based on current statistics, the English side is the clear favourite to win the game.  They have scored nine goals and conceded just one, which shows that they have a strong attack and defence.  Meanwhile, Athletic have scored six but let in four goals in six games. Any team could put up a convincing display, so let's expect a competitive match.

Arsenal has already discovered the weak point of Athletic Bilbao when they played a preseason match and Arsenal won them by 3:0 so i don't think we will see a different thing when they meet again in the Champions League. It's true that we can't belittle Athletic Bilbao or judge them by the friendly game they played against Arsenal but sometimes, how a team performed in a preseason match is mostly same way they perform in a competitive match. Arsenal were very impressive in the Champions League games last season, i think they will want to improve their performance in this early stage of the matches so that they can get a direct qualification to the next round just as they did last season so winning Athletic Bilbao will sure be a priority to them.

Atletico Bilbao can't defeat arsenal even without playing preseason games, Atletico Bilbao are not in a good shap this season and they are missing there key player William that got injured and making them to perform weak in the pitch, because they don't have finishers currently. Arsenal won't try to lose there first game in the Champions League this season at home and I think Arteta will definitely achieve three point in the match. Last season Arsenal as try there best to achieve the Champions league but they failed against PSG, this season as started again let see if they can have the opportunity to win it this time around because he as be long Arsenal won trophies they need to achieve it this time around to make the fans happy because they are feeling disgrace when other clubs are winning trophies back to back and they are finding it difficult to achieve.

I don't entirely agree that Bayern's squad is lacking in quality here because, after all, in terms of player material, they can still be considered very balanced. Even in terms of player experience, Bayern can still be considered quite good. We know that several of their current players come from the EPL, including their coach, so they already have a good idea of what to expect when facing EPL clubs.

Chelsea is indeed still one of the clubs that is improving well, but it cannot be denied that Bayern is still one of the strong contenders, as they always qualify for the knockout stages in almost every season (although they can't do much in the quarter-finals or semi-finals), so this is still a balanced match for both clubs.

This could be a situation that might hinder their progress, as losing the first match could complicate things, especially when they lose to a club that can be considered their equal, where mentality clearly plays a decisive role here.

That's right - it's only 1/8 of the match through the league phase, meaning both Chelsea and Bayern Munich still have 7 more matches to play if this first match goes wrong. A Bayern Munich win seems more realistic than a Chelsea win - but a draw is an option that shouldn't be overlooked if you're looking to try your luck.

Kane and his teammates are playing at home, meaning they have home advantage, which could be a one of more factor in determining the odds. Chelsea haven't been at their best in their last Premier League matches, but Bayern Munich are in excellent form. I agree if someone says Bayern Munich will win in their home match against Chelsea - but I don't underestimate Chelsea's abilities this season.

On the other hand, Jude Bellingham Cool has returned to the Madrid team after shoulder surgery, which I think has given Xabi Alonso more muscle in the midfield, right? Also, the signings of top players and the new 36-team format are already starting to emerge,, the game is just about to start but this year I have my eyes only on Liverpool, Barcelona and PSG,,

A draw or win is more imminent for Chelsea than them losing in this match. They have already improved their performance over the years and I think they can make a big change in this match against Bayern Munich. No one can deny the fact that Chelsea has not improved and they can also be a contender of the champions league title this season. Bayern Munich are coming up again after a poor season some season back, we just have to wait to see what they can have this season because they may be rated up to the standard of other top teams in the champions league competition. Bayern Munich is a very strong team, and I can only say Chelsea will have to be at that their top form we know them with if they want to prevail in this match against Bayern Munich.

I don’t think anyone should underestimate Atletico Bilbao, their performance is also good, and the match won’t be a easy one for the two teams. Actually if I will be predicting who will be winning the match, then I will be predicting Arsenal to win, not that am underestimating Atletico Bilbao, but i think Arsenal performance is just better than them, and Arsenal will do everything possible to get a win in the match. The match is just going to be a interesting one, and Arsenal are not suppose to joke with a match like this, they shouldn’t underestimate Atletico Bilbao, because if they are underestimate, then they might be shocked.

Here we go again. The opening round of the league stage starts tomorrow.
I think Juventus Vs Dortmund and Athletic Bilbao Vs Arsenal could be the most interesting matches to watch as those pairs are of teams at a similar level, so anything is possible.
Real Madrid Vs Marseille could also be fun to watch, but I don't expect the Spanish team to have much trouble winning against the French side. Marseille is doing particularly great in this season so far, they've lost 2 out of 4 games in the league, both in away games (while 2 wins were at home). So it's not a surprise that Real is a big favourite with odds of around x1.37.

However, a draw is possible to in this match because both of these managers are new to Champions League and knows each others before now, so it will be their first official match against each others as managers.

Tomorrow will start the match between PSV vs Union Saint-Gilloise in the UEFA Champions League. We are waiting to see how well PSV can perform in this match. PSV is still far ahead in the points table. However, the performance of Union Saint-Gilloise will depend on how the match will be played. If Union Saint-Gilloise players perform well, there is a possibility of the match being drawn.

Honestly, don't expect much from PSV. They're behaving the same way they did in the first games of last season, where they were very unstable. Even in the league, they're not at the top of the league, they're in second place, and from what I see, they have a good chance of not becoming champions.

 That's why, in my opinion, I believe that Union Saint-Gilloise has a better chance of winning the game. From what I see, they're at the top of their local league table. They've only conceded 3 goals in 7 games, while PSV doesn't seem to have a good defense. If I were to bet on this game, I'd bet on Union Saint-Gilloise to win or draw.

Well, this is a bit of a risky bet. It's true that PSV isn't in great shape defensively, but let's say that Union Saint-Gilloise is a very approachable team for them and they can easily do it, without too many problems. I think the match will be a classic 1-1 draw.

Saint-Gilloise is playing very well in Belgium. Everyone sees PSV as the favorites, but they're playing so well in Belgium that they could easily beat PSV with similar play. If I'm right, there's no reason they can't get a win tonight.

It won’t be easy for Real Madrid even with Bellingham back. In my opinion, there are currently many strong teams that can give other teams a hard time. You mentioned Liverpool and Barcelona, which i think are the main favorites to win, but every Champions League match is special and has its own story. We’ll see PSG has the same squad and the same intention, but it will be difficult for them to repeat what they did last year.

Yep , it won't be an easy game for Arsenal and I'm sure they won't underestimate Bilbao and most likely they will find a way to score and then win because I personally can't see Arsenal losing tomorrow.

They better not underestimate any team in the Champions league, it should be a must win game for Arsenal, to kick start the new Champions league campaign on a high note. No saka for Arsenal, No problem. No Saliba as well, no problem still. Arsenal have a=enough squad depth to cover them.

I think Chelsea’s mentality when it comes to European Competitions like this is just what gives them confidence to go into this game against Bayern Munich, even though Chelsea seems to have missed out on the previous two seasons in the Champions League competition. Bayern Munich on the other hand have been a main stay in the champions league but with the confidence Chelsea possesses from last season winning the Europa Conference league and also winning the FIFA club World Cup will really be a boost for them going into this encounter with Bayern Munich. I think in terms of quality both teams possess similar qualities currently as they are very exciting teams to watch due to their ability to attack opponents. They have young talented players in both team and will be a really exciting game to watch.

Big games in the Champions League this week, that is the beauty of the league phase format introduced last season. Bayern Munich vs Chelsea is prolly the biggest of them, Bayern are in red hot form and i would like to see if they can beat Chelsea. Liverpool also host Atletico Madrid, that is another interesting game to look out for.

City are also going to welcome KDB back to the Etihad, as his Napoli side face City on Thursday. It is going to be three days of high quality football and i can't wait for it to get started, we should also expect a few upsets.

Now the wait has been over, and ultimately the UEFA Champions League competition has begun. Match day 1 will be kick off today I am very excited to see the battle field of the new season. Barca, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, PSG, Liverpool are just prepared to play their match of the season... Your believe in Real Madrid, but honestly, for me Real Madrid is not trustworthy enough to be eliminated for the winning candidate because they are still trailing due to some unconsciousness in their team performance.

For me, Barcelona has high probability, and also Liverpool is the second one to be considered for the UEFA Champions League title. The rest of the club Real Madrid, PSG and Bayren Munich have same probability.
