If truly Nico Williams is saying that actually, then I would say that he is still not come to terms with reality, because arsenal is not on the same level with them, the best possible result they can get from this game is a draw. Am not saying that arsenal will run over them, what am trying to say is that this game is a clear winning for arsenal even though football can be sometimes unpredictable.
Sometimes players will want to talk tough just to bring themselves into the spotlight, and I think that it's what Nico Williams is trying to do, but no matter how tough he talks, on the field of play, it's going to be a different ball game altogether because talking is way more easier, than doing what you said.

The return of Jude Bellingham is a big boost to the Real Madrid team. He has always sacrificed for the team, playing with a brace for a long time after suffering from a shoulder injury in a La Liga match against Rayo Vallecano. His recovery after the surgery was to last for about 12 weeks, but with his inclusion in the 23-man squad for that will face Marseille, he has recovered earlier than expected.

Arda Guler has enjoyed consistent time in the team since the Englishman's absence and he has not performed badly. But the return of Jude will bring depth and experience to the squad. My prediction is that he will be introduced as a substitute since it will take some time for him to fully recover 

Guler is currently getting more playing time than he had under Ancelotti, but it is not yet clear what is the reason for this, either Bellingham's injury or he is getting more trust from Alonso. We will soon find out when Bellingham can regain his form and fully return to the game. Guler may return to the bench again. By the way, Rodrigo is almost not discussed and I have not followed how he is doing, but it seems that he sat on the bench for the entire last match against Sociedad.

It is a great news that Jude Bellingham is back I'm very sure that Real Madrid fans are very happy right now because he's a very good player and whenever he is not in a match there is always some kind of problem, injury is one thing that always disturbs a lot of teams especially when it is a top player that is the one involved in that injury and that is why some clubs always try as much as possible to find a replacement so it won't affect them that much whenever there top player is injured.
Well for now we really don't know what the coach will do with Bellingham whether he will start immediately or he will still have to watch him for some time but whatever the case I'm very sure that he will start using him immediately because they don't need to miss any chances, is a very good coach and I'm sure he will make the best decision.

It's strange that bookmakers are offering very low odds in favor of Real Madrid, something like @1.37. It seems very low to me, considering that the Real Madrid coach doesn't have much experience in the European Champions League. This was very clear last season with Leverkusen. It's true that he's doing a good job with the team, and with the recovery of many players, Real Madrid will have almost, if not the entire squad, available.

But that won't change the fact that the new Real Madrid coach is inexperienced as a coach in the European Champions League, which, in my opinion, is a very difficult league. Olympique Marseille is not a team to be underestimated. I would bet on a Real Madrid win only if the odds were @2.10, in which case it would be worth the risk.

My bets for today's games:

Tottenham Hotspur FC - Villarreal CF (I bet on a Tottenham win)

Juventus FC - Borussia Dortmund (I bet on a Juventus win)

Athletic Bilbao does have the advantage of playing at home, but somehow, I feel like they will still lose to Arsenal. What I see, Bilbao is not in good form at the moment, and they have even suffered back-to-back defeats in La Liga, despite they playing at home in both of those matches. While Arsenal seems to be having good confidence, and several players from Spain give them a plus point in this match.

This is an interesting match and worth waiting for, and maybe this will be a high tension match because I guess Bilbao will probably play aggressively.

So, the much-awaited 2025-26 Champions League starts tomorrow, wow!! I can see Real Madrid under immense pressure to win Europe's top prize with Mbappé, their first match against Marseille, meaning they host Marseille at home in the opening match. On the other hand, Jude Bellingham Cool has returned to the Madrid team after shoulder surgery, which I think has given Xabi Alonso more muscle in the midfield, right? Also, the signings of top players and the new 36-team format are already starting to emerge,, the game is just about to start but this year I have my eyes only on Liverpool, Barcelona and PSG,,  

It won’t be easy for Real Madrid even with Bellingham back. In my opinion, there are currently many strong teams that can give other teams a hard time. You mentioned Liverpool and Barcelona, which i think are the main favorites to win, but every Champions League match is special and has its own story. We’ll see PSG has the same squad and the same intention, but it will be difficult for them to repeat what they did last year.

In the Champions League, there are certainly many strong teams. Sometimes we're always confused about who will win or who will win the trophy this season. But of course, I'm very happy because the Champions League will start soon.

Speaking of Real Madrid, I also see it won't be easy for Real Madrid to win against Marseille, even though Bellingham is back. Marseille can certainly reach this stage because they have strong strength. However, in terms of betting, I think I'd bet on a Real Madrid victory. In my opinion, there are many favorites to win, but of course, I also predict that PSG certainly has the potential to not win this season's Champions League, but I certainly think PSG has the potential to advance to the top 8.

Yes indeed Athletic Bilbao vs Arsenal will be a very interesting game to watch with the likes of eze, gyoekeres and madueke in Arsenal's forefront an attack that will be capable of destroying any defense no matter how strong it is, the question here is what quality of defense do athletic Bilbao have can it be possible to withstand such thunderous attack?

I think the answer should be yes because  as it stance now athletic Bilbao have one of the best defense that is aggressively wise, team work quality with good communications when it comes to managing defensive error of any kind, I think they are good in all aspects.
To be honest the game will be one of the most challenging and interesting one in all the games that will be played today in the champions league today

What we fail to understand sometimes is that the do called favourites most of the time doesn't even make it to the champions league finals let alone winning it. You see this Liverpool and Barcelona that you think are the favourites, just mark it somewhere, non of them will play the champions league finals this season. It's not as it seems that's why the competition is different from every other club competitions.

From the beginning of the champions league last season, many of us predicted Liverpool as the favourite team to win based on their first impressions but unfortunately they were eliminated quickly than we expect without reaching the final. The new champions league format make things a little complicated but I believe every participating club this year is fully prepared. After the first round games, we may be able to measure each team ability based on how they perform in the first round. A team performance in their domestic league doesn't determine their performance in the champions league so I won't picked my favourite team based on their league performance.

they will not take any chances at all seeing the champions league starting up today, of cause this for real Madrid is a must win game and will be used as a sort of build up for the tougher games that are coming up. all the key players like Bellingham must be available not necessarily to play full time in this game but to also put some sort of fear in the mind of opposition so they know that Madrid team is coming on with everything that makes of a strong term.

from the lineup of the games that we already have today, the toughest is likely going to be the Dortmund vs  Juventus game. Arsenal should easily win Bilbao with their current form and real Madrid should comfortably get a winner. Tottenham vs Villarreal will be another tough game but the premier league side will certainly fight to get better result than they got last season of the champions league.

Based on my own view, this match is going to be a very tough one. But still, I have some kind of confidence in Arsenal  that they will either win this game or at least draw it. I'm not so sure whether Bilbao will have the chance to beat Arsenal, but they may be interesting, based on how I view them. Let's just see what happens at the end of the day.As for my bet on this match, I'm going with a double chance for Arsenal. The reason I'm choosing double chance for Arsenal is because some key Arsenal players may not play due to injuries.

I have to say that I am very, very interested in this challenge, let's say that it reminds me of my childhood, of those nights where everything was possible, in any case I think that Bayern Munich can win easily, but Chelsea still gives me hope that the best team will win.

Our first team squad are pretty much solid except from our defence which is still lacking in comparison with our 2020/2021 defence especially since one of our key Cb, Levi Colwill is having a long term injury.

This is the point we lack more on and is not like our squad depth is really scary like that same year, hopefully some players will improve but these make ot difficult for us to be among favorite.

Honestly, I want a team that has never won the UEFA Champions League to win the trophy. It was really impressive, seeing PSG won the trophy last season, this time, my bet will be on Arsenal. They have been impressive for a long time now. I want them to win the UCL, EPL and any other domestic title in Europe.

I think the new UCL format is good this way. Teams have to play each other before moving to the knockout stage. It gives room for average teams to qualify to the next round without being eliminated in the first round.

This will be a difficult and interesting game because based on their respective league performances, Arsenal and Bilbao both have high standards, and it's never easy when the best clubs from the Premier League and La Liga play each other. Bilbao has been in good form in La Liga this season, losing only one of their four matches. Arsenal has shown similar form in the Premier League, so in my opinion, both teams have a good chance of winning. This match promises to be challenging. While most people expect that Arsenal will win this game and I too think they are the favorite, but I don't think they'll secure victory easily, they will have to put up a strong fight.
