His errors has caused Chelsea to lose two matches now, first the own goal in Champions league and the wrong pass that led to Sanchez booking against Manchester United, he's a good player no doubt but i hope Enzo Maresca is taking note of these errors so he'll call him to other and give him the necessary drills to avoid silly errors.

 Well, i hope those players are not carried away by winning the club world cup, they should know that this is a fresh season and there's lots of competitions to contend so they need to put their heads together and do everything possible to make this season successful, i don't trust them to win the Champions League but I'll be very okay if they get eliminated in a good stage that would be a sign of improvement.

In this match it was clear that Munich possessed an extraordinary mentality for playing in the UCL, especially since Munich had become very solid under Kompany. This was in stark contrast to Chelsea, whose squad is predominantly young, so when faced with greater pressure, they seemed unprepared. Chelsea's performance wasn't bad either, but Munich had a more mature mentality and squad to handle pressure.

In this match Enzo Maresca implemented the exact same strategy as against PSG, only minus defender Colwil. Maresca made a mistake by using Fernandes as the AMF. Enzo Maresca should have chosen Joao Pedro as the AMF because he was better. Although Maresca used the same approach against PSG, and it didn't work against Munich, he should have sought a different tactic in future matches to compete in the UCL.

What we need to see is how Chelsea fare in the Champions League next. In their first Champions League match of the season, Chelsea lost to Bayern Munich, although that was a perfectly normal result for Chelsea, as Bayern Munich have been in excellent form this season. So, in terms of surprise, I was actually a little more surprised when Chelsea faced a strong team in the Champions League than the defeat at Manchester United's home ground.

Neuer and Muller is still very much active and will definitely break Ronaldo's record of most individual win in the competitions all time record either this season or next season. His been out of any European team for some years now and he still holds that record which I think is still incredibly great but sonner or later his going to be displaced by these two Bayern Munich great players.

They will certainly break it but however if Ronaldo was still in the champions League he would have still continue to raise the record because one thing I no much about him during his appearances in the champions League is that any club he is doesn't go backward because he usually get the outcome he expected even if they did not win champions League all the time so actually is very common and normal for another player to beat this record as he is no longer challenging for it, Neuer will definitely beat Muller because of the club he is keeping for because Bayern Munich is thick on this champions League.

Muller is not breaking it, he is out of UCL now, so he is gone, and didn't break it, people still think he will, but dude is in Canada right now, of course he is not going to break it at all. However, Neuer still plays, but he is far away, so he may not break it due to his age, depends on how long Bayern intends to keep him, if they do keep him for another 2-3 seasons then yeah he can break it but the dude is old enough that he should have retired already, so it's going to be questionable.

Ronaldo if he stayed in Europe and not went to Saudi league would have a lot now, but it depends on the situation, if he was at United, look at what they have done since he left, he may not have gotten a single more win if he was there.

It is funny to see Frankfurt at the top of the standings.    The reason why is that they must have got one of their most comfortable wins in a while. Because of their opponent's big mistakes maybe but the result is the most important.

However they must be one of the unluckiest teams in the draw... Just look at the rest of their opponents below. The Qarabağ game seems like the easiest but I doubt even that. You know how they beat Benfica away.

It's very funny that a team praise as the world champions has lost their first Champions League game with three goals conceded. Bayern Munich was far better than Chelsea throughout the match, I did not expect Chelsea to lose by many goals because they were visiting Bayern Munich, even if they did lose, it should be by one goal because the hype about Chelsea this season is quite high, their fans are confident that they can beat any team in the world after defeating PSG.

I believe Bayern Munich will become unstoppable this season, since they have thrashed every opponent with goals. Rashford is a backup plan for yamal and the reason that he is playing right now is because yamal is out with a injury which has created room for Rashford to play for the main time but when yamal is back fully Rashford will start from the bench as he usually do. Just by looking at the stats, Bayern Munich dominated the match by 56% of the possession. They played a more aggressive game and had a higher number of shots towards the goal.

The real questionable part are the bottom teams that did alright. Like for example USG did alright, beating PSV easily, will USG be that good? Will they keep being that great?

In any domestic league you basically know who is good and who is not and what you should expect and yes there are surprises but you generally know how everyone will play. Against Chelsea they also did excellently well they played Chelsea with utmost seriousness and being the home team gave them all the confidence they needed to win the match. He actually  is not the main player or their key play maker now but the pase he is going  at, it is only a matter of time and I will not be really surprised  to see him occupy that role sooner, I see the effort  he puts in and the way Flick has positioned him, it cam not be overemphasied that hw is very promising and of key interest for the team not just  this season  but even till the end of his contract. His flexibility is another bigger advantage  he has as an edge over some of his team mates.

It's as if Cristiano was born into this world to be a footballer. He's still performing at the highest level. At 40, he scored two goals in his last league match.
