No club can be 100% free of injury and that's why every club strive to get some good and versatile players in the team. The reason you've players on the bench is to serve as a replacement for other players when they're out or when they should be rested. A good coach can rotate the players and still try to keep up even in the midst of injuries. Yamal is back, I think the they still have a good team to continue performing well despite the couple of other key players still injured.

The victory over Olympiacos was with an imbalance of squad. Olympiacos was reduced to 10 men just after putting one back and It contributed to their being thrashes a big 6:1. Maybe the result would've been different if they were complete. I don't see that match as a clear message to Real Madrid.

I chose a simple victory for Chelsea, yes, the odds are modest - only 1.28, but it seems to me that the factor of the home game and the factor of Chelsea being stronger than Ajax will play a role. Frankfurt have already been a problematic team since the beginning of the season. In the Bundesliga they scored and conceded a lot. But in the Champions League, they are more on the conceding part...

Chelsea have the most impressive attack with great players and their defense is also very strong. Although they lost one of the three matches. Barcelona game is definitely one that they will feel great about, after a huge defeat against Sevilla, they were not sure how they would come back from the national break, and looking at how they have been, we can safely say that they came back quite good.

First they beat Girona, but that was close and not a big margin, this time they did get a huge margin of victory, so that feels great. For now they look strong at UCL, although there are other teams that still needs to play their third games, but one thing is for sure, they are 100% in top 24 this season, but top 8 is doubtful. They are going to have a decent year, worst case second place at la liga, and probably like quarter finals at least at UCL, that is not too bad when all things are considered with their debt.

I think so too, despite the various situations and the defeat against Sevilla, they are doing quite well, watching their matches is quite fun, but i don't know if they will feel great against Barcelona.

If you noticed in the game, Chelsea didn't play some of their key players at the start of the match against Ajax because Maresca already believed that the Chelsea players who would start the match won't disappoint, rather they bring victory for the team.

However, I am beginning to feel like there is no mediocre player in Chelsea who won't deliver in a match when played. Check the number of Chelsea players who are on injuries, yet the team looks formidable, had to lose a match. If Ajax were really prepared as we all claimed the shouldn't have conceded that number of goals. Yes, they received a red card 17 minutes into the game, but I believe that even without the red card, Chelsea would still have scored the same number of goals. Ajax simply faced a team that was far superior in both formation and overall quality. They were only able to make two shot attempts and only one was on target and that's obviously their penalty goal.

The last time Ajax faced Chelsea it was a tough game. Ajax led the game by scoring first, even after Chelsea equalized, they scored and lead with 4 goals. Until Chelsea equalized coming down from 1:4 to draw the game 4:4.

Honestly, I was expecting something similar, at least Ajax putting up a tough fight in the game. Well, funny how they ended up having red card both in their last meeting and yesterday meeting. I was expecting Liverpool to end in a draw against Frankfurt, but they scored 5 goals. Good start for the German team, but Liverpool destroyed them with an equalized after a counterattack and two goals out of corners. I don't think that Liverpool is out of the crisis yet. All the German teams except Bayern are simply weaker than the top 4 English teams.
Real Madrid won against Juventus, just as expected, but they missed a lot of opportunities to make the victory stand out. Vlahovic missed only one goal opportunity for Juventus. That Red card Ajax had 15 minutes into the game really devastated their style of play, at first they weren't doing too bad with their attacks, but immediately that red card came, they struggled and went back defending till the game ended. Ajax ordinarily are not on the same performing level with Chelsea, but at least they would have pulled a little stunt with their 11 complete players though. 5-1 in favour of Chelsea was really a humiliating one for Ajax.

Chelsea was the better team on all statistics last night against Ajax and actually surprised to see so many of you having faith in Ajax to take points ...but did you actually saw that Ajax had 0 goals scored in UCL before this game against Chelsea ? that says a lot about current phase of Ajax and now they are 1-11 at goals scored/concede in UCL. This alone is enough for them to not qualify further.
