I've just checked one of the sports betting sites to see how outright odds for the UCL winner have changed.

Yes the impressive performance of real Madrid is incomparable even with the inconsistent performance of some  quality players that made them king of European football.  They may have had some terrible results in there few weeks game but still knows how to rewrite there wrongs and maintain in the top level as they used to do in previous seasons, but that can only work if xabi alonso can be able to pinpoint and bring solution to the reasons behind the inconsistent performance of some of his key players.
