Barcelona can come back because they are playing well I don't see Frankfurt holding on to this lead for a long time. This goal is going to make  Barcelona to come out and attack which I don't think that Frankfurt has the defensive power to defend. Playing at home again is another advantage to Barcelona to come back to this.



One thing that I like about the champions League is this types of results because in the champions League there is no respect for big teams , any team can get a good result just as we are seeing this night. Frankfort has been struggling in their last two games but coming here to score first against Barcelona was not a expected result.

I was just wondering why the checks for that Kanote header took so long to decide if the ball before coming to him was a foul or not. It took almost 4 minutes for that check to come through and the referee decided it was a hand ball. After the very first replay, we saw that it came of his hand after VVD headed the ball. The hand gave the ball a little deflection and it went straight to Kanote for him to score. Again, what's happening to Inter Milan players, 2 players are already off with unexpected injuries thereby forcing the coach to make substations early in the game. The game is looking promising for Liverpool because so far they have been the team with the real attacks.

The good thing is that there's enough time for both of them to still make a comeback. Barcelona can get a comeback against Eintracht Frankfurt but a surprise should not also be overlooked because they have only won one match which was against Galatasaray so they can win Barcelona if care is not taken. Atletico Madrid has gotten an equalizer against PSV Eindhoven and i think they will gingered to play better now so i expect them to win or get a draw in that match. PSV Eindhoven can also win Atletico Madrid if we consider what they did to Liverpool in their last meeting but for the fact that Atletico Madrid lost their match in the La Liga could be that they prepared and planned to win PSV Eindhoven tonight.

I was scared when the match ended 0-0 at half time because I felt i was going to lose miserably as Bayern Minic playing over 3.5 is my major pick for the day. But when Sporting Lisbon opened the scoring, I knew that Bayern Munic was not going to accept defeat so I felt some relief. It was not long before Bayern responded and the rest is history. Good win for Bayern Munich and to all of us that love betting singles first before anything else.

I was in same position after the end of the first half,  I wondered why it appeared tough for Bayern Munich to have a goals already, although I know  that sporting is a good side who is slightly above average, but I for once taught  they were going  to make Bayern Munich not to be able  to win and probably end in a draw but interestingly Bayern Munich showed their might tonight.

This match for the majority of the game didn't live up to the hype, at one point I almost found myself sleeping while watching it and was contemplating of switching to a different match but I just allowed it. Liverpool were making threats until after that Konate goal that was disallowed due to an earlier hand ball from his teammate before the goals. The game burst into life for the home side as they started playing like a team that's at home. L. Martinez almost got the opener with that his wicked header in the 45+ 5 mark and Allison was up to the rescue by diving towards his legs to make that very save. Hopefully, it will be more interesting in the second and I really hope to see a winner.

Galatasaray with V. Osimhem leading their attack is a dangerous team. The first half was a beauty. They had more control on the ball, in the second half, we may likely see some magic because I expect Monaco defenders to flop.

Chelsea on the other hand is also leading Atlanta in Italy. Chelsea has a dominating first half and has a goal advantage courtesy of J. Pedro from R. James assist. Atlanta also had clear chances but they couldn't use them. Maresca should go ahead and remove Badshille, If not for Cucurella playing effectively on his left back, Chelsea would've been scored a long time ago.

Eintracht Frankfurt has already been heavily beaten by Liverpool, Atletico madrid and Atalanta in the Uefa champions league and they lost heavily to Leipzig in their domestic league so this was supposed to be a comfortable game for Barcelona by their standards.
I still think Barcelona will get things right in the second half and get the win.

I was honestly expecting a calmer, slower paced match. There were no goals in the first half but it’s turning out to be a good game. So far Galatasaray has been the more attacking side. Monaco has been more effective with counterattacks. They had also some serious good possesions. It’s a good match to watch.

I was hoping their would be more goals in the first half, given that Eintracht Frankfurt is a scoring side as well as Barcelona and I thought Barcelona would have taken the lead early in the first half but, I was surprised they had to start from a loosing position. I have no doubt they are right in this and have got a goal already with an assist from Rashford to Kounde, still they would have to fight for their win but high remains very possible.

Barcelona can come back because they are playing well I don't see Frankfurt holding on to this lead for a long time. I was really sucked with this first half result when I saw that Frankfurt was leading Barcelona with 1 goal right from 21 minute of the first half, and i checked the statistics I saw that Barcelona performances is doing well since their able to dominated the entirely ball possession. But what I think there is that Frankfurt only get advantage of early goal that’s why they trying to play defense game in the first half, just to maintain their lead and keep the ball rolling in their hands.

But although they are defense are not that powerful so they don’t think they will be able to play the same pattern in the second half, because Barcelona playing at home and they are going to use the home advantage and do come back; we shall see what will happen in the second half we should never underrate the Frankfurt. Because their the one leading and they will like to try all their possible best to secure the three points.

I was very interested in the Liverpool match. I went straight to the line up and was surprised that Salah was missing. I thought the shenanigans will end in the PL. So, I went further to know if Salah has travelled for the African Nations Cup. But I was surprised to see him in the missing players and the reason was written as "Coach's decision".
This is getting out of hand. What is actually happening in Liverpool. Salah no longer on bench but totally missing. This is sad to know....

Two goals for Barca within 3 minutes by Kounde J. I know the pressure Barca has placed on Eintracht Frankfurt will definitely turn out for good in the second half.
