We are unsure of Arsenal winning the premier league because of their inconsistent form that can be shown by them at anytime. Although, the premier league looks to be of reach to them than the champions league, so they’ll have to show a more better performance and play better in all of their remaining matches to be played in the champions league as they advance further in the competition. Manchester City may look more focus to win the premier league than the champions league. I believe Manchester City is certainly very ambitious in winning trophies in the Premier League and Champions League. Certainly, all teams currently enjoying strong domestic league and Champions League standings want to win both domestic and Champions League trophies. Arsenal will certainly have to fight hard in both the Champions League and the Premier League, as it would be a shame to squander their opportunities. Carrick has a unique tactical understanding. He has integrated many players very well into the team. Carrick has perhaps been Manchester United's best choice. Yes,, currently Manchester United is still in a new phase of recovering from its slump, and I don't think it's certain whether this team will continue to perform well or not. Because their performance could be good now, and then bad again. The chances of winning is not high but I wouldn't say it's impossible, winning the champions league is not an easy task but then if United can be able to maintain a good performance then and win their matches next season then they can challenge for the title or even win it. I think for now they shouldn't be thinking of next season champions league, they should just focus on qualifying for the champions league first. They have only won just 4 or 5 games and they are thinking of winning the champions league that's ridiculous. Arsenal have won a lot of games this season and they have the best form but still it's not a guarantee that they are winning the champions league. I guess it's been a while they won 4 games straight that's why it's getting in their heads. Winning the champions league is not an easy task at all, it requires a lot of things that Manchester united clearly lacks.

In this season, 5 out of 8 clubs are from Premier league which is clearly showing how competitive they are and their consistency and performance is always on good level, three teams Barcelona, Sporting CP and Bayern Munich filling remaining spots with no Serie A club able to have top 8 that is really miserable.

PSG also missing spot from top 8 due to worst run in last 3 matches, teams like Real Madrid and Inter Milan also faced problems and not able to compete into top ranks, now qualifications are going to be interesting where few teams have enough advantage still any prediction about winner in these qualifications are not easy because 2026 is having many surprises, that leads things to be challenging.

Well if you judge by this teams records in the Champions League, and the performances they have had in previous seasons in the Champions League, you will have to understand that this teams obviously stand a better chance of making it into the knockout stages of the Champions League, the teams you have listed are the favorites to qualify for the next rounds, I was just wondering how the draws was actually made that lead to the big teams not facing each other in this stage of the Champions League, I must say it is very difficult to understand and predict what is going to happen in the Champions League games, because you might see some upset so you can’t be completely convinced about what is going to happen.

Yes, I agree with you, if everything happened exactly as you listed, it would be the ideal scenario where all the favorites advance to the next round. but it seems to me that surprises are quite possible here, ones we may not be expecting. For example, I can imagine Olympiacos beating Bayer, because Bayer sometimes produces very poor performances and concedes a lot of goals. Olympiacos are a team with a solid defense, so unexpected outcomes are possible in this matchup. As for the other games, I’m not sure, I doubt that Atalanta will be able to beat Borussia or that Benfica will beat Real. It’s also possible that we’ll see some surprises in the Galatasaray vs Juventus match as well.

I believe that there is some truth in both sides of this argument. Yes, form is important, and judging by the performances of Manchester United, it is certainly possible that it would not win the UCL next season. Winners of the champions league tend to be very consistent, have depth in their squads and have a stable tactic - aspects that united has yet to regain. However, simultaneously, football is unpredictable. The level of a team may increase within a short period of time due to a good transfer window and a settled manager and better chemistry. We have witnessed clubs becoming underdogs in the competition and becoming stronger each and every round. It would be too soon to write them off altogether, but it would be unrealistic to refer to them as favorites at the moment.

The champions league competition is one competition where skills alone isn't enough, a team with lesser skill but more experience can knockout one with the best squad and skills. Everything matters in the CL if a team must go far in the challenge. Luck only works when the a team has a predefined strategy and tries their best to implement it as a team. Last season a team like Madrid had internal issues where some senior players were having unresolved dispute and it ended up affecting their performance leaving them with no trophy not even the least Spanish Super Cup. To me luck for any team starts with team work and laid down strategy.

If you should go by papers and with names, no doubt this eight teams are rightly in the forefront of being the eventual teams to emerge winners in the playoffs to meet the other top eight teams for the round of sixteen. But football isn’t played on papers but it’s played on the pitch and considering the current form of most of this team’s especially Atletico Madrid who are not really consistent in winning games currently it’s going to be difficult for them to emerge winners. Don’t forget that there’s also Galaterssary who are Turkish champion and current leaders of the Turkish league facing juventus in the playoffs, that game for me is going to be a very tricky tie of the playoffs.

Arsenal have had a good start to the season and they have been making the most of it. They have a very good chance of winning the trophy this season, they have been performing much better than their rivals and have been in a consistent position since the beginning. However, their performance has been a bit of a letdown in the last few matches of the Premier League. Almost all the teams have performed badly in the last few matches of the Premier League, except for Manchester United. Let's see if Arsenal can lift the trophy this season or not, there are still quite a few matches left.

Even though the majority of people are favouring Juventus to eliminate Galatasaray (which is quite normal) I want to believe in my team anyway.

I admit we were really inconsistent and could have collected more points during league phase. But Juventus are also not playing incredible now. I know of their form but you must have watched them against Lazio 2 days ago.

Pep Guardiola knows how to shake Arsenal concentration at the end of the season by continuing to keep the points gap in the standings. This can at least make Arsenal feel uncomfortable in the next match and will play under pressure. On the other hand, Man City distraction from the Premier League race could also affect Arsenal performance in the Champion League. To reduce pressure and save energy Arsenal must give up one of the 2 big competitions. To win both titles will not be easy and the mentality of Arsenal players is not fully ready.

We saw this last year in the matches between Barcelona and Inter. In my opinion, Barcelona played much better than Inter in both matches, but we saw in that game that anything is possible in football. Inter made a magnificent comeback, scoring a goal in the last minute to take the match to extra time, and then scoring another goal in extra time to win and reach the final. Something similar could happen this year. That's why every team needs to respect every opponent they play against and hope that luck is on their side. No one can deny that the luck factor gives a team a huge advantage.

Absolutely yes, luck is unfortunately essential and there are teams, like my beloved Bologna for example, who are sometimes truly unlucky, but as they say here: it pours on the wet.
Luckily, we didn't have such bad luck as Fiorentina. This is absolute bad
