I admit we were really inconsistent and could have collected more points during league phase. But Juventus are also not playing incredible now. I know of their form but you must have watched them against Lazio 2 days ago.

They are also unpredictable. If we manage to win the first leg in İstanbul I'd be hopeful. Otherwise no need to fool myself. 

Galatasaray's greatest chance of winning lies in their ability to play at home, putting pressure on their opponents. They managed to beat Liverpool in Istanbul, and they can do the same against Juventus. The important thing is for the players to be in good form and win this match in Istanbul. If Galatasaray can beat Juventus in Istanbul, they might have a chance in Italy. Otherwise, the expected result will occur, and Galatasaray could be eliminated.

If you should go by papers and with names, no doubt this eight teams are rightly in the forefront of being the eventual teams to emerge winners in the playoffs to meet the other top eight teams for the round of sixteen. But football isn’t played on papers but it’s played on the pitch and considering the current form of most of this team’s especially Atletico Madrid who are not really consistent in winning games currently it’s going to be difficult for them to emerge winners. Don’t forget that there’s also Galaterssary who are Turkish champion and current leaders of the Turkish league facing juventus in the playoffs, that game for me is going to be a very tricky tie of the playoffs.

Among the top 8 teams mentioned, I am not sure about the performance of Altetico Madrid, Leverkusen, Juventus, and even Real Madrid. They are of course the big names and that is always a reason to picked. So it's make sense to mention them rather than picking unexpected teams like Benfica, Olympiacos, Atalanta and Brugge because they are underrated. I am curious to see one of these 4 teams conquer the favored club.

I think for now they shouldn't be thinking of next season champions league, they should just focus on qualifying for the champions league first. They have only won just 4 or 5 games and they are thinking of winning the champions league that's ridiculous.

I was thinking Manchester united has signed Michael Carrick only for my friend to tell me yesterday that Manchester united has not really signed Michael Carrick as a Coach but rather an acting Coach and I think it's because Michael Carrick has not coached before but he has been an acting Coach for sometime now and I can't really say if he is perfect for Manchester united because we can not tell about tomorrow but with the little I have seen him do in Manchester united is enough to take over.

We are unsure of Arsenal winning the premier league because of their inconsistent form that can be shown by them at anytime. Although, the premier league looks to be of reach to them than the champions league, so they’ll have to show a more better performance and play better in all of their remaining matches to be played in the champions league as they advance further in the competition. Manchester City may look more focus to win the premier league than the champions league. So Arsenal will definitely face a hard time winning the premier league and at the same time improve their game conditions going forward in the round of 16 in the champions league competition.

Arsenal may sometimes be inconsistent in their winning streak, but this season, I believe, is stronger than in previous seasons, as evidenced by their current position in the Premier League and Champions League. I believe Arsenal's greatest opportunity is that it will be easier to win a trophy in the Premier League than in the Champions League, as the latter is more difficult, as the competition seems fiercer.

I believe Manchester City is certainly very ambitious in winning trophies in the Premier League and Champions League. Certainly, all teams currently enjoying strong domestic league and Champions League standings want to win both domestic and Champions League trophies. Arsenal will certainly have to fight hard in both the Champions League and the Premier League, as it would be a shame to squander their opportunities. Regarding Juventus has inconsistent performance in domestic league and eliminated at Copa Italia from Atalanta I withdraw Juventus as the favorite team will eliminate Galatasaray, last match after defeating by Atalanta has bad result for Juventus holding draw by Lazio at domestic league match and its bad capital for facing Galatasaray has quite good performance in domestic league. Juventus not only focus for the playoff round matches against Galatasaray but also must performing well in domestic league to secure top fourth standings after losing three points last match make Juventus has the same points with Roma.
In my prediction, Galatasaray have bigger opportunity to eliminate Juventus at the playoff round match and secure the knock out round of Champion League this season.

Well co far I must commend that Carick in his few days at Manchester United has actually been of some brilliant performances, one good enough to get people already wanting him to be appointed United new coach but no one seem to be talking about sustainability, consistency and giving this some more time to see if it can actually stand the test of time or it is some facades. I still Stand my grounds of not been in a hurry to conclude because in past time we have seen similar with some intrem coaches at Manchester United.

Their quality declined since their star players and good head coaches left their clubs recent seasons. I only feel surprised with good odds for Real Madrid even they're a most successful club in UEFA Champions League history.

I think they have a pretty good chance just to qualify. So far, the managerial change has been quite effective, and if this continues, then qualifying for Europe will definitely happen. Dortmund vs. Atalanta are underdogs, so if we want to make "safe" bets, we'll remove them anyway. Real Madrid's odds are good at +21% against a hard-to-believe event. The script already has their match against City in the 1/8 finals recorded, so they can't lose  
If we talk about the validity of the odds, then my biggest question is about Juventus 1.25 against Galatasaray. Juventus is a drab team, nothing special, no winning mentality, no good squad, no aura. Galatasaray are weaker on paper, but they are the champions and I can easily imagine Juventus losing to them.

I agree with you that the pairing is so uneven and looking at it, it seems so obvious that the teams which are listed above are actually going to win the matches but also remember that Champions League will not forget to do what it knows how to do best. There must still be surprise this round of fixtures.

I mean, one big team will surely lose or draw. That is why it is not always a good option to pack all the big teams in one ticket. Just mix them with some odds that are atleast upto 1.60 so that you wouldn't have to select so many matches to get a given number of odds.

Michael Carrick has every chance to prove that he’s capable of turning Manchester United into a top team again. In the matches where he’s been in charge, both the team and the manager himself have looked comfortable and things have worked out well. But the real test will be the run-in at the end of the season. Only after that will we know whether Carrick deserves to stay on as United’s permanent manager. Under him, the players seem to have regained belief and confidence. If that carries through to the end of the season, I’m sure we’ll see United back in the Champions League.

Fatigue is real and It targets the club's that anticipate in top tournaments. Arsenal are one of the top clubs that are highly going to be affected when the fatigue and the injuries start to hits in. Mikel Arteta will protect his vital players because they're the ones that make winning happen and with their pivotal performance, they can skyrocket to the moon. Arsenal are very competitive this season and wouldn't be settling for lesser scores.

Arsenal are at the top in every tournament they've found themselves. I do think Mikel Arteta is not having the hypes he deserved because he's upgrading the standard stats of Gunners this season.
