I highly doubt Newcastle will be a problem for Barcelona. While I understand that the first game did not ended as well as they hoped for, yes that is true, and I understand things aren't looking as great as they hoped. Past the first half, I thought Barcelona were going to come back harder to make some good wins at the second half but I didn’t see much improvement from them and I can say the lucky goal scored by Yamal was as a result of the pressure from the first goal scored by the Newcastle United. If not for the benefit of the injury time, the match would have ended with Barcelona defeated.

Hansi Flick should be very careful with that high-line defending of his. One day a team is going to come in well prepared to hit them 3-4 goals in just one half like Atletico Madrid did to them.

Premier League fans are once again faced with reality. Of course, we'll have to see how the return legs go, but 2 points out of 15   And if we recalculate these "successes" into cost/benefit indicators, then I think the Premier League will be at the very bottom.

The surprise of this year is Bodo. After their spectacular rise in the Europa League last year, they are making a statement in the Champions League this year as well. When you look at the players individually, they have a sub-average squad. in fact, many of them aren't even called up to their national teams. I was at the gym an hour before the match started and a friend was saying he will bet on Newcastle to win. Hahaha, you're right, that was an unexpected stroke of luck in the final seconds of the second half of yesterday's match. Without it, they would have lost completely, and they would have struggled immensely in the second leg.

That was most likely the most terrible horror match he has ever played in his career and it will either break him or make him grow into the sky. I think I can't remember a more disastrous game by a goalkeeper than that in such an important game. Even my favorite was Real but I thought Manchester City would reduce the goals second half, but City proved me wrong. If Vini had scored the penalty, we coulds say easily that City have been eliminated from the Champions League at this stage, but they still have a slight chance. Because novadays in my opinion Madrid doesn't play good football away from home.

The turning point of the match was Courtois' crucial save with his foot. Thiago made a very critical mistake, but Courtois saved the shot with a perfect reflex (He looked soo cool then but I think he was like fiyuuuuv it was close I was lucky ) . We should never doubt Real Madrid in the Champions League, Valverde scoring a hat trick shows that any Real Madrid player can turn up for the club in the Champions league, Manchester City could not even score a goal in the game and that give Real Madrid a better chance to qualify for the quarter final, if Vinicius score the penalty by now we will be saying that Manchester City can never do the come back.

I think these three clubs make it somehow if they don't play each other in the semis or play against the heavy weights like Real Madrid.

Real Madrid at home against Manchester City was one of the reasons I had doubts on Manchester City winning at Santiago Bernabeu, and I wasn't even surprised that Real Madrid humiliated Manchester City because it's difficult to beat Real Madrid at Santiago Bernabeu. Everyone knows Real Madrid, and if they finish the season without a title, there will be a big change, or the coach will have to go. Galatasaray has achieved very successful results in Europe this season but still imo this match will likely be the end of the road for them. Playing 90 minutes at Anfield is no joke and avoiding defeat against Liverpool is really very hard. not impossible but very hard.
Also Galatasaray’s weakness away from home is well known. Liverpool will probably make changes on the wings this time around. I expect them to start with more offensive minded fullbacks like Robertson and Frimpong. Ahead of them, i think Rio and Salah will be playing.
