I know Liverpool will be look down on because of their poor performance this season but we should also remember what they did to Galatasaray regardless of Galatasaray form and their history. I think last season it was Paris Saint Germain that kick out Liverpool and few other premier league teams in the champions league and that was when Paris Saint Germain was in a good form but their form this season can not be compared with that of last season so I think that is a little advantage Liverpool has even if they are not strong enough.

Liverpool performance both in premier league and the champions league is not encouraging for one to support them to have victory over Paris Saint Germain. I'm not sure if Liverpool will qualify to the champions league next season because currently they are sitting in fifth position in the table, although Paris Saint Germain hasn't play better as they did last season but they are still more in form than Liverpool. It's going to be an exciting match and still we shouldn't underestimate Liverpool because football is unpredictable, the game might turn to be in their favour.

I don’t think there is anything this Liverpool side can do against PSG when they are out to show their strength. Liverpool didn’t use it easy against Galatasaray in their first leg, they had a much better play in their second leg but, I don’t see how PSG would give them that chance to gain anything in either of their fixtures. Arsenal are comfortable in this stage also. I feel like a draw in Portugal but a nice win at Emirates to seal the deal. The toughest challenge will start in the semi finals - finally.

This is not a match I think Arsenal will be scared not to have a comfortable win on. Sporting Lisbon has been great in the champions league and I feel they will give Arsenal a tough time for the win in this round. Although, Arsenal still looks to be the one that is dominant and will most definitely win this match far ahead of their opponent. The real test for Arsenal should start in the semifinals as you’ve said and not in this round.

When it comes to the champions league, I don’t usually see a team less competitive than their opponent they’re playing against especially when they’ve not even played the first leg of the round. This is the competitive aspect of the competition which leads to elimination of a team directly, so I don’t see any of them having any problem to actually be at their best form. Unless otherwise one team happens to overpower the other, then we can now come to a semi conclusion about the outcome of the game. PSG looks to be more dominant but they should not look down on Liverpool in this game because they play better in the champions league than in the domestic league.

Paris Saint German is not a team I underrate in this champions league and I think they can still go as far as the finals. The champions league now is making more sense because every game is competitive and you can’t get to tell which team can go further in the competition ahead of the other one. Every team is looking strong and has a formidable team to make them go stronger than they’re before, so it makes more sense if the game is actually not showing the team that has the more chance of making it through. The scheme is probably almost the same as last season, but we know PSG is also not with the same team as last season. Some players have changed, and their performance has been questioned this season. I think the statistic of PSG always win when facing the premier league team, the round of 16 PSG destroying Chelsea by winning aggregate 2-8 back to back win at home and away match. These two teams know each other very well so no way are any of them going to look down on the other because of it happens the way the other team that underrated the other will go down , it will be in a shameful way so I expect the two sides to play like they did last season. Did you know that same PSG eliminated them last season in  the round 16? The funny part is that, they did what you’re suggesting last season and even won with a gap of 1 to nil . In the second leg, PSG did same but it was a thug of war which results to penalties.

Although Liverpool beat Galatasaray, this time the team Liverpool will face is certainly stronger than Galatasaray because PSG was the champion of the Champions League last season. PSG are strong, competitive and experienced as well as very confident and ambitious as a current champion but their pathway to the final and to defend the title won't be easy.

While in UEFA Champions League, playing well is not enough to win matches and many times a team play well loses a match and have to finish their Champions League season. In history, only Real Madrid successfully defended their title in Champions League and in this season, PSG are trying to defend their crown and become a second champion and club in history can do it, after Real Madrid in three seasons managed by Zidane.
