My assumption is that if Arne Slot fails in the UCL to take Liverpool to the semifinals, I don’t think the Liverpool management would sack him immediately. He might still be replaced by another coach, but they would likely wait until the season ends. Replacing a manager near the end of the season would be riskier and could create more complicated problems.

BTW, lately I’ve seen that many people are still backing PSG to win, but in my opinion, Liverpool also has a chance to win.

The champions league is not only the agreement the management of the team may have had with the manager to win at the end of the season. They may also have some other agreements put in place that will make Arne Slot still be managing the team and not sacked just because he got eliminated from the champions league. If he can also make the top four of the table by end of the season, I think that’s fair enough to keep his job. In his first season in the club, he made it as far to winning the premier league, so I don’t think they’ll dispose him just like that for failing to reach the semifinals of the champions league if at all he didn’t get to reach.

I've always known he'll never be the one to take them off the dangerous areas. Good thing and timing he left, they need a worthy manager to help win their next few games. De zebri has been mentioned but it should be from next season if they're not relegated.

The sack came as expected but a little bit late from that I anticipated for it. Tottenham Hotspur are in a very dangerous zone now and with only seven games left to the end of the season, can they really escape that zone and not be relegated? When they are talking of teams that are serious in the Champions League, I don’t think Liverpool are among them. Although they really tried last season, even though they got knocked out in the Round of 16 by PSG, they were still top of the table then. However, that was then. Even this season, I am sure that they will still be knocked out by PSG, as their performance is not that good. The Champions League will be very serious this season, and any team that is not ready will definitely be knocked out. It’s just as you mentioned, they will still meet next season, except Liverpool.

Yeah obviously Liverpool are not that team to be considered for UEFA Champions League title like, they didn't have the capacity for the title and definitely due to this they can be knocked out of the UEFA Champions League title because if we look at their performance from the beginning till now, then probably we can clearly see it that they are not even makes any sense, whether it's in Premier League competition or in UEFA Champions League competition. On the other side of we look are their competitors then definitely they are much stronger than them and maybe they could smash them soon. I find it funny when people try to build confidence on luck. Liverpool this season have been awful, more like a team that's below average – I have to say that because of the quality of players at their disposal. I don't see them getting past PSG, if they do, that'll be the most shocking result of the season in the UEFA Champions League.
PSG is in better form and shape at the moment and I expect then to easily get past the current Liverpool team and progress to the next stage of the competition.

This is tone of those season where we would find premier league teams being dominant and running the champions league. We’ve seen a lot of bad performances from premier league sides in the knock outs and my guess is that, we aren’t done with all that yet.
We would see some more and Liverpool only managed to win Galatasaray and confirm their spot. The chance that they would be able to do that against PSG, I’ll be kind enough to give them 1%.

Igor Tudor was indeed fired because he showed absolutely no progress at Tottenham during the little over a month he spent there. in fact, Tottenham only managed to earn 1 point from a total of 5 matches in the Premier League, if I recall correctlyy. so from the very beginning, everyone was actually questioning why they had to bring in Igor Tudor as the interim coach.

As for Arne Slot, he can still be considered a good coach. after all, even though Liverpool has clearly struggled this season, it hasn’t been too bad. In the Champions League, Liverpool still managed to reach the quarterfinals. and even if they lose to PSG, that would actually be quite understandable. So, yeah, his position will remain secure.

I think Arsenal has a very good chance of winning this round,, as I'm sure Sporting Lisbon won't be able to put Arsenal through. With that in mind, Arsenal is most likely to advance to the semifinals. Hopefully,, Arsenal will have a smooth sailing,, as their current form clearly suggests they should have no trouble winning this match. I'm sorry but I disagree: Liverpool, because of Slot, decided to change a lot of players while bringing in several new ones, and right now not a single player lived up to the expectations nor the price Liverpool paid for them. Liverpool have worse quality and form compares to PSG have but they are both big clubs with pride of their club's success and strength so they will not play quarter final matches with fearful or humbling thinking like they will be the loser. Yes, they were fortunate to be drawn against easier opponents than other teams, but luck can also be disastrous for them, as you explained, the UCL is a competition where surprises are nothing new, and because this is a two-legged tie, I'm still a bit skeptical about them getting through the first leg easily. Actually, his dismissal was not too late because he had not been Tottenham coach for long and the club tried to give him a chance to see the progress of the next few matches but since his appointment as coach he has not given any positive effect at all and has not even won a single match so in my opinion Tottenham moved quickly to immediately dismiss him before the season ends hopefully Tottenham can recover quickly and survive the relegation zone this season because it is very unfortunate that Tottenham is a top club in the EPL if they are relegated it will be very embarrassing for them.

My surprise with this PSG team is that they do start the season poorly in the group stage but after the first half of the season, they will start picking form gradually till they reach their peak form. This pattern is always favorable to them because it's towards the last quarter of the season that the competition gets tougher since it will be at the knockout stage. Exactly, every team will want to show all their strength because no one will want to be kick out at this stage, everyone want to be champions and I'm afraid form may not really matter in this period or stage because even with Liverpool bad form they won't allow Paris Saint Germain win them so easily if at all Paris Saint Germain can win them. Paris Saint Germain form this season is somehow weak compare to last season.
